commentary on sky sports football
Listening to the SKY commentary on the Liverpool v Chelsea match on Sunday 22/9/19. I was appalled by the comments in relation to VAR, by Martin Tyler. He shows the Dinosaur and Neanderthal mentality, that has resulted in VAR being so long in implementation! When it comes to commentary on the subject of VAR, unless he is willing to inject some intelligence and Common Sense into his Neanderthal view on the subject, IT WOULD BE BETTER IF HE KEPT QUIET AND KEPT HIS VIEWS TO HIMSELF! Sky Sports usually has very good commentary! Tyler's views on VAR spoils otherwise good Commentary! My best regards David Victor Brown.
sky sports live football
Why are so many leeds united games featured live on sky sports every season. Honestly I feel like I am a leeds season ticket holder!. Just to let you know, there are currently 71 english football league clubs... Surely we don't have to wait until they play leeds to be featured live!. So bored of constant leeds, we are only in september and already they must've been on live tv at least 4 times... Why?, get a grip!. Please.
lack of club badge on sports reports
I have had a number of Supporters in touch with me to say that when reports are made on our Club, which is a Ladbrokes League 2 side in Scotland, there is a blank shield appearing instead of our Club badge.
This apparently also happens on your various Websites.
If someone can e-mail me at [protected]@coverangersfc.com I can supply our official Club Badge.

sky sports
How can you possibly believe that not renewing the contracts of David Gower and Sir Ian Botham is the right thing to do.
They are not only legends of English cricket but also the best orators of the game in the modern generation.
To even suggest that Ward and Key are suitable replacements is bizarre in the extreme.
I shall be cancelling my subscription forthwith.
This is a very sad day for a company that has previously done so much for the game of cricket.
Yours,
Tony Forward
sky sport main event
I am so annoyed how they have Bournemouth v Everton on the main event over the Ashes. Biggest cricketing event in the world, our country playing chance to win the test today, yet they put a pointless football game, that means nothing, that no one really cares about on. All I have is Sky Sports main event so now I can't watch the ashes. So instead of watching country play I have to sit here and watch Bournemouth v Everton
commentators
Why oh why don't the commentators learn to pronounce the names of overseas players correctly? It is so infuriating that, as a South African, the name Labuschagne is constantly mispronounced. It is Labus - kak- knee. I complained on another occasion and it was changed immediately - I wish I could remember who is was!
Whilst writing, I found Andrew Strauss to be interesting and informative as a commentator. It would be interesting to see what he makes of the pronunciation of one of his countrymen's name.
cricket commentators
My first ever letter to you. Who on earth thinks thatAndrew Strauss is going to add anything to the commentary team. He has an awful presentation style which is completely unsuited and incompatible with easy enjoyment. To think someone has made a decision to abort David Gower's silky and informative style and replace it with a bumbling and uneasy Andrew Strauss beggars belief! Absolutely disgraceful on both counts!
quality of the broadcast overall.
Martin Brundle is a joke, and most of your other commentators for F1 are not far behind. Your coverage of F1 is incredibly boring and mundane. Same format race after race after race... it is monotonous. Brundle looks ridiculous in that get up he wears on track. No one wants to see a fat, 70 year old man in tight jeans and a pink shirt. It's laughable. He bounces around the track like a chicken with it's head cut off, and no one really wants to talk to him, because he asks the same darn questions every race. Enough already. If you had any brains at all, you would fire the human in charge of F1 broadcasting, and hire new blood with fresh ideas. Otherwise, humans will look elsewhere on the net for another source of viewing. And for everyone's sake, get it together with your pronunciations. It's pronounced "Monza" not "Monzer". You are dropping the ball every time, and the other team is picking it up and scoring. You look like losers on screen all the time. It's sad and depressing, bottom line.
mental health
Just watched sky sports news about mental health with marvin sordell, and how there is no help out there for them. Excuse me the general public has been having this problem for years, but because a footballer mentions it it's on TV. What a double standard world we have. You make out it's just footballers or sportsmen and women who suffer. Shame on you
host of sky cricket the debate
I am not happy with Charles Coville on Sky Cricket always biased opinion about England. Saying other teams are lucky when they beat England. Yet England have luck too!. Can someone have a word with him. It is rather off putting to watch. Whatever happened to sportmanship.! I am a genuine cricket fan and support England, but we should embrace fairness and appreciation when beaten by better teams. Take note Charles. Thank you.
the ashes 2019
We have been watching The Ashes on Sky Sports, and found the coverage very unprofessional. You are constantly showing the same graphics. I.e. the England and Australian logos hundreds of times in every game. It is the same with the highlights too.
Why don't you watch how channel 5 does it on their highlights show? All cricket and little unnecessary graphics. We will not be having more subscriptions with Sky if you do not get a better production team for the coverage of the cricket.
sport pundits
Right basically am sick of the complete biased pundits working for sky sports right starting with souness disgusting judgmental attack on m kean on Sunday for 1 if he signed for any of the top 4 clubs he'd said nothing the lad knows nothing about him so how can he make that judgment on a 19 year old kid he's a joke! The next bloke who needs sacking with his complete biased commentary is Jamie carragher don't need to say anything about him other then he's a tit who spits at kids! I know you lot ignore complaint so I expect this 1 to be ignored as well so just putting this out there your full of ex reds who are biased!
cricket commentary
So very sad to hear that David Gower will be finishing with cricket commentary on Sky. In my opinion he is the best one you have and his voice is so easy to listen to compared with some-one like Isha Guha - I'm afraid I have to use my mute button when she is on commentary, what a dull, boring voice and unfortunately she insists of stating the obvious all the time. Please, please, don't let Bumble go - he is so terribly missed when not on commentary. He is the only one able to make an amusing comment about the crowd, or the surroundings. He absolutely makes cricket viewing! Do think again about David Gower (& female commentators!)
football
It is obvious you do not care about your customers when you use idiots and incompetents and cheats, commentating on your football. Your commentators have no understanding of football but spoil the match by spouting silly and ridiculous rubbish about nothing to do with the match we are watching which spoils our viewing. And the so called experts are allowed to say what they like without anyone contesting them even when they are obviously incompetent or cheating and the keeping quiet about something they should be explaining to viewers that are watching without a lot of knowledge but for viewers who do understand football it is very insulting and ruins the watch of the game, if these people are going to say things they should at least know what they are saying, this has gone on for a long time but is getting worse all the time but of course you are not interested in the slightest as long as you get our money

commentary
Hi I would like to make a complaint about the biased report and commentary of jamie Redknapp on 1st September arsenal Tottenham game. His commentary was biased towards arsenal. I am not a Tottenham fan but watching this game i found his commentary was derogatory and in such a highly charged atmosphere inciting the already well known hated between these 2 London rivals. At times including his interview with sol Campbell I felt he was ridiculing tottenham. I see he has been trolled on Twitter through this although I dont agree with this I do think he brought it on himself. There are more than enough commentators who would have given a much more unbiased commentary maybes mr Redknapp has some sort of axe to grind with spurs but it should not let it effect his job maybes hes in the wrong job.
commentary
The biased commentary from Jamie Carragher.
All Everton
Any comments on Wolves negative. Same on Manchester Utd Wolves game.
His grinding scouse accent is somewhat nauseating and he brings no sense into his commentary.
Felt sorry for his partner who clearly knew more than Carragher about football and he has never played.
Please review his style as he clearly does not give an expert balanced view.
sky sports cricket
There is a WI vs IND test series going on. I've been following the live telecast for the first couple of days of the 2nd test. On the third day (Sunday) Sky Sports decide that they're not going to telecast the test match till 7:30pm. Instead they decide to telecast Women's Super League T20 cricket. Fine, show it but atleast have the test match on interactive or another sports channel. Either provide the option or don't show it at all, in which case a lot of people, like me, will be happy to drop your subscription altogether. Shocking from Sky.
scottish football commentators
Hi,
I would like to make an official complaint on Me Walker who was commentating on the Rangers v Celtic match on Sunday 1st September as surely Sky's policy is to have commentators whom are not bias toward a team playing.
His comments throughout the game upset many listeners as it was evident that he was bias towards Celtic making poor comments against the Rangers team and good comments about Celtic play and their players.
I respectively ask that you investigate this and if found correct can he be removed from any future games by someone whom is not bias to any team or whom does not show any bias.
Kind Regards
Mr Paton
sky sports on now tv
I pay a lot of money to watch sky sports via now TV, and I am sick and tired of losing atleast 10/15 minutes of every match, due to the screen going pixilated. when it does this it is unwatchable.
I have searched and searched for a solution, it is not down to my WiFi connection, and now tv says it is down to the sky sports server.
please resolve this issue as I know other people get this problem too, and when the prices for sky sports are very high in my opinion, I think this is unacceptable.
Thankyou
ashes tests cricket coverage
From the cricket world cup and leading to the ashes, sky tv have an admirable commentator team-except for the fact they also have a woman called isha guha also joining these esteemed commentators. She is a pain with her phony accent & obvious lack of knowledge of men's test cricket.. There are hundreds of international tests players in the midst of the crowds for the cricket world cup and the ashes, so how come that this guha woman was also selected. She has not played men's test cricket which I think is a sine quo non to be a cricket commentator for the world cup & the ashes. When she annoyingly comes on I have to press the mute button. Could you not expunge her for the sake of cricket lovers the world over.
Today whilst watching the ashes, during a lull caused by joffrey archers intimidatory bowling which in my opinion should be called by the umpires before he maims or kills someone this is certainly not cricket.
The point is the batsmen have to undergo a 'concussion tests' and today the esteemed nasser hussein called it a delayed concussion. The term concussion is bandied about in playing fields by persons who have no idea what it means.
A cerebral concussion is the mildest and simplest of all injuries to the head. The definition of cerebral concussion is
'it is a transient loss of consciousness immediately following trauma to the head (generally of a mild nature) from which the patient makes a complete recovery'. There are no anatomical lesions in the brain. The lesion is a temporary block of transmission at the brain synapses from which there is full recovery. It is obvious therefore that there can be no delayed concussion! What they are trying to bring to light is 'the lucid interval' in head injury which occurs in a life threatening situation called 'extra dural haemorrhage' (edh).
I cannot for the life of me understand how this concussion lark came into being. If it was via a doctor, he obviously needs to go back to a proper medical school.
I hope you will use your good offices to correct this absolute medical bloomer.
I am a retired surgeon and trained in neuro surgery and am a fellow of the royal college of surgeons of england, and it pains me to have wrong terminalogy used and also absurd protocols in play.
Today at the ashes it looked more like a gp"s surgey than a cricket match!
Please, please remove Isa Guha from the commentary team. She has the most expressionless, boring voice and turns any remotely interesting moments into a dull monologue. It is bad enough when there is some play but imagine what it would be like if she had to commentate during a rain break. If we have to have female commentators Ok but please choose one with some variation in their voice.
The complaint is about her voice, I'll ignore the fact that what she says is so blindingly obvious and therefore totally superfluous.
I agree entirely, I switch off the sound when she comes on.
