Hi. This is not the first time I have bought something from takealot and its also not the first time that you have sent the parcel to the wrong place.
I ordered and paid for these items on the 18th of April and I still have not received it.
the agent that was dealing with me was able to give me an address of where the parcel was sent to but no contact no so I have no idea where it is or when it will be delivered.
this kind of service is unacceptable and I am tempted to cancel my order and write to whichever publication that shows and interest.
I was told 2-3 working days delivery. it has been 2 weeks already and no one has let me know whats going on .

Incorrect delivery
Takealot delivered incorrect item. I ordered a 1.8m folding table and they delivered braai charcoal instead. Its been over 24hours now and they still haven't collected the charcoal and still has not notified me as to when my folding table will be delivered. I needed it today. So much inconvenience caused. If I knew takealot makes mistakes like this I would have purshased the table elsewhere.

Order [protected] driver came with 2 deliveries to remade Angie Towsens was delivered but he took my box back without asking reception to call me i have screenshots i called 13:31 to inform takealot what the driver did and the lady promised it will be delivered before 5 today i was waiting although remade closed at 4 i waited. I calked again 16:49 and they said no it wont be delivered. It is upsetting so i waited for nothing and they dont even inform me it is not a smaal order it is R702.00 and the one for monday is over R600 . I ordered and payed for my ordered. It was displaying all in stock and got estimate date of delivery. After the delivery date passed I phoned to find out Was then been told their is no stock on one of the items.
I was then been informed that it Takealot is just the platform not the seller so it not there fault that stock is late although it did mention in stock on their website and still do.
I was then been told a email will be sent and there is not estimate time of when I will get feedback I just have to sit back and wait and wait. The fact that I am not going to be at the arranged delevery place did not matter. When I ask to speak to a senior person I was been put on hold until l was eventually been cut off.
Bad Bad bad Service
Returned item - not yet credited
Purchased a Girl's Mermaid Tail Swimsuit - Hot Pink, Size 8-9 years at R299.00, order no. [protected], on 14 March 2018. I logged a return on the same evening because the item was too big and didnot include all the pieces as advertised, received a 1 piece as opposed to the advertised 3 piece.
I dropped off the item at Skynet (waybill MDX1467029 )on the 5 April 2018 after numerous unsuccessful attempts to collect the item from me.
To date I have not received any positive feedback regarding my return(RRN-491a-c94f) from Takealot.
I have attached the last 3 email conversations between Takealot and myself.
Your assistance will be appreciated in getting this matter resolved.

No delivery, stupid kimberley branch [protected]. I resheduled for the following day my dilivery as I had to leave. The next day no one delivers and I dnt get any contacts, I call later and speak to Nikita who says she doesnt know why they did not deliver on the 19th of April, then o get a message that they tried to deliver but I was nit there! I was home the whole day waiting for them to come, and no one came. This is very dissapointing
Terrible customer service

I called in to find out if the warranty of my laptop would cover theft and if so what steps I needed to make. I provided my order number to check the warranty and this woman says to me I should just place another order and that they are an insurance company. I tried to explained that all I wanted to know was if Lenovo covered for theft for this particular model, I could not even get to ask what their agreement with the brand is. As a person who worked in Customer service for so long, I find it very concerning that agents at a company like Takelot are not trained to speak to customers who genuinely need help or information. This lady was sarcastic and offered no solution to my issue and I am aware that our complaints are not taken seriously but these people need to be trained on their attitude.
I would like this lady to be taken to more training or reprimanded for such a bad attitude.
Product return
I returned a dvd and during the process Takealot indicated its eligible for return. Suddenly after takealot received the dvd I was informed my return is rejected altough the item is in perfect condition. Altough I am still not happy with that I have been waiting 2 weeks already for my dvd to be returned and when I phoned today to enquire I was told it was send back to the warehouse. Seeing that its my dvd and its paid for what right to Takealot have to send my dvd to the warehouse and not return it to me immediately? The operator on the phone talks like this is not serious not even offering an apology for their blunder. If there is the smallest mark on my dvd when I receive it it will be returned immediately and this time I will demand a cash refund!
Delivery and false expectancy
I paid for my items on the 31st march and was told expected shipment by the 11th april and delivery by the 12th april, now suddenly my shipment is expected by the 17th and delivery by 18th april, no communication was made to me saying there was a delay or anything it just changes. I wish there was some sort of communication and really hope i receive my products by the 18th, I'll be highly irritated if it delays further.

My package arrived today after I have waited a month. Order #[protected]. The one book was damaged, durty and has a page torn out of it. I just want to find out how it is possible for something that looks like that to be packaged in the first place?
This is the second time a damaged book gets delivered to me. Then when I phone to ask whether I can use this book while I am waiting for the new one, because I need the book while I am waiting AGAIN, then the answer is no?
I use takealot EVEN when things are sometimes more expensive then other places, but why would I in the world still do that if this is the service you provide?

Parcel delivered at wrong address
On thursday 09:26 I received a email stating that my parcel that was ordered from takealot.com was delivered. I went to reception as no one called, reception said that there were no deliveries for me.
The lady that signed for the delivery was not even one of our employees and no one by that name is employed by us, this means that they delivered at the wrong address and company.
Takealot are saying that I have received my parcel, but I have not.
I checked in our security visitors book and no deliveries from takealot was delivered for me.
Takealot needs to refund me almost r2000 or deliver my parcel.
I don't know how they are still being used if this is the service you get from them

I've since called the number endlessly, staying on the line, each time awaiting an assistant to assist with the query but nobody is on the other end. This is frustrating as I have wasted to much airtime trying to reach this number. Takealot has only tried to reach me through one phone call, at a time I was in a meeting and unable to answer. NO FOLLOW UP!
How do I delete my complaint?

Then I phone to complain and am told my items will be put at the top of some apparent list for next day deliveries... My parcel #5634915 was scheduled to arrive before 5 today and it still has not shown up. This is the third time my parcel doesn't show up as scheduled. I needed that parcel TODAY as I finished my dog food this morning and would've received the new bucket today, had it arrived on time. Since tomorrow is a public holiday, this is costing me buying a different dog food at extra cost with money I don't have so that my dog has food until Thursday, at which time I hope my dog food will be delivered. Understand that you're costing me extra money... I'm not happy at all with this being the umpteenth time I have to sit and wait for something that never arrives.
Look into the matter and let me know what's going on. Sort out your couriers please.

I have a problem that, most of the time your products are out of stock.Sometimes I don't find the product I saw two weeks back.Please keep your products for a longer period of time.We can't rate that a product is good then the next thing you remove it.What was the point of giving a good feedback on it then you remove it.Please bring back the "Speedlink Torid Gamepad-Wireless(pc-ps3)" it's the best gamepad for pc and ps3.I want to buy that Gamepad.The ones you have right now they are not good quality.That gamepad is the best money can buy.

My order was supposed to be delivered 2 days ago already!
I have been waiting for 2 days for you to deliver my order.
when i go to track my order it says that recipient was not available to take delivery.
Nobody tried to deliver this package and nobody called or contacted me.
I am very upset about this and will never be shopping at takealot again and i am going to encourage everyone i know to do the same and share this experience with everyone i know.
Can you please give me feedback on when my order is going to arrive.

Dell inspiron 15 3000 series laptop

Recieved back from Takealot 5/03/2018
No idea what Takealot did to the laptop while they had it, as we recieved no feedback as to what their findings were, and what they were going to do with the laptop, with regards to replacing or repairing. They simply just delivered the laptop back.
The laptop stopped working again yesterday 12/03/2018.
I urgently want the laptop collected again, and replaced, not repaired!

Defective projector

Purchased a projector and it stopped working after 4 or 5 uses. Requested for the product to be returned to Takealot so they arranged with their Logistics team for the item to be collected. The first date, Friday 2nd March 2018, they told me via text message that the item will be collected before 17:00, so I waited and they didn't come, so I called their call centre and they apologised and said they will follow up with their logistics team and then I received an email stating that they will reschedule the collection for Tuesday 6th March 2018, so I waited 'again' and still they didn't come, so I sent them an email and called their call centre again and they apologised and said that they will check with their logistics team again and then they rescheduled the collection for the next day, Wednesday 7th March 2018. 'Yet again' I waited and still no one came, so I went through the same process and they rescheduled for the next day and still nothing, and then again contacted the call centre and sent another email and then they apologised yet again and rescheduled again for that Friday and yet again nothing. I have been waiting at my home literally cancelling any plans I had for the week during the day so that I can wait for this defective product to be collected, and it is frustrating and a waste of my time and unfortunately I will not be that time back. They now rescheduled for today Monday 12th March 2018. I'm hoping and praying that they collect as scheduled as I cannot afford to waste any further time.
