tire repair
On Saturday July 28, 2018, I called TIRE KINGDOM in Fort Myers, Florida to see if they could patch a nail hole in my tire. They said they could, so I drove over with my deflating tire and arrived at their facility. When I presented my problem, I was told it would take about 45 to 60 minutes. I decided to wait. 2 hours later, I asked about the status of my repair. When they realized that I was still waiting, I was told that it would be the next car in and that they would be done in 30 minutes.
As I was sitting in the waiting room again, I found that the service man could not start my car. All of a sudden my "battery" was completely dead. Now my $19.00 service was going to cost over $300! I finally got a ride home and had to wait another 2 hours before the car was done. When I got home, my low pressure tire light went back on! Sure enough, my tire was still leaking. I have never been so upset, appalled and disappointed in my life. I have no confidence in this company or its "trained" employees. Simply shameful.
oil change nightmare with a coupon. I was regarded a a beggar and asked to leave.
For many years I've been served by Tire Kingdom with zero complaints. Everything changed yesterday when I went to my local Tire Kingdom and was disrespected by this Associate name Jason Dean. All I asked him to do is to apply a coupon I received in the mail for a significant discount on synthetic oil changed. He literally said: "Ma'am, take your keys and vacate the premise." He made me feel as if I was begging him for anything. I have a valid coupon. That skimpy, skinny, disgusting man for a split second confused me for a bagger. He indecently refunded all the money back to my credit card, didn't charge me a penny and asked for me to leave the store in front of many other people. Who the hell this man thinks he is to disrespect me like that. I am appalled the district manager would hire someone with 0, Zero, Nada customer service like that. On another note, I am also complaining about the fact that this man Jason Dean in running a sort of scheme where when you get a quote on anything, he gives you two prices. One if you pay cash and the other if you pay with credit. I am not really sure what's the real deal there, but according to corporate, it should be the same price regardless of what means you use to pay for your service. A few months ago a had a flat tire, Jason Dean again approach and said: " if you pay cash, I can fix it for $19 versus if you pay with credit it will be $33. What the hell? I refused obviously to be part of such a scheme. I declined the "supposedly discount" and rather pay the full fee. I strongly believe, he should be investigated.
appointment for tire repair
Ok so I set an appointment for 2:00pm Sunday to have a simple tire repair, was told it would be 27 dollars and they would call me back when it's done yells for a mechanic to start appointment as I leave. I come back two hours later to see that they haven't even started on my tire, so I go into the waiting room and the salesperson comes in and says they starting on my car now it's now about 4:50 10 minutes before close. He comes back and at 5 right at close and says there is a problem with one of the bolts and they can't put my tire on because they need parts and all the parts places are closed ... as I look out the window and an advanced auto parts open in the same parking lot but I leave the car overnight come pick it up in the morning to see I'm now being charged 87.16 I'm being charged 54.50 for brake labor? I didn't even have my brakes worked on. So I was at first just mad because of setting the appointment and being ignored because it wasn't a big money repair, then to literally be ripped off for 54.50 I could of had a new tire for that much.
4 new conti tires

On 08/10/2017 I purchased 4 brand new tires (Conti Pro Contact SSRRFT
SIZE 225/55R17 97V
Total paid $1343)
On July 17, 2018 I responded to tire kingdom because there was a nail in the tire. On my invoice it stated that I have Flat Repairs for life. However the sales person told me that they don't repair run flats. He showed me a sheet stating that run flats are not repaired. I was told I needed the highway hazard protection. I was never told about highway hazard. Also if run flats are not covered then why sell me the "FLAT REPAIRS FOR TIRES for Life? If I had been told considering the amount of money I had spent I would've purchased the other policy.
I believe that this is a contradiction in the contract.
Please let me know if there is any consideration here due to the fact that I was sold something that your company does not honor.

dishonest salesman and service done wrong
I'm at Tire Kingdom store #31. I called yesterday and was told I could buy a cheap tire but forgot the name. I scheduled to come in and get the tire but was told they didn't have it and couldn't get it today when I arrived. What do you know they had a more expensive tire Cooper that they could put on for more money. The practice was dishonest and I am extremely disappointed with my treatment. I had no choice but to buy the more expensive tire. I got a ride home while waiting to be finished. I was called back by Tom Martin when it was finished. I arrived back to Tire Kingdom to see they put the new tire on my spare rim. I couldn't believe the shop could be that negligent. I'm now waiting for the shop to put my truck back on the lift and put the new tire on it's rim. I discussed everything with Tom before I left the first time. Tom said they would put the new tire on its rim and put my spare back under the truck. I'm extremely disappointed with all of this.
michelin tires
I just bought New 18 inch LTX Michelin Tires for my light truck and they vibrate a lot around 55 - 75 MPH, I took it back once and they said it was the rear tires that need to be rebalanced, which they did and told me it was off by 1/2 oz on each tire. It is still doing it So I will again need to take it back and see if they can balance them better. Another Hour or more waiting time. If they can not get it right what can be done? Do I need a refund and get different tires
I have gone back to Tire Kingdom a second time they rechecked balanced on all 4 tires again and had to replace the driver front tire because of some sort issue with that tire. The high speed balance seems to slightly better but there is still lot more bounciness/ vibration at normal city driving . It seems like I feel every bump no matter what type of road surface there is. I regret paying so much extra for these Michelin tires. So far they been a big disappointment.
tire rotation w/ oil change/ lied/unethical
Today 6/23/18, I brought my Equinox into Boca Store #6087 for an appointment oil change and tire rotation. Store was not busy and fellow said it would be an hour. He took my cell # at intake... I went for a walk around to shop. Came back after rainstorm. Went to check out and asked if everything was ok on the car. John said yes, no problems. I got home and noticed my tires were not rotated. I called store and spoke to John. I asked if tires were rotated - he said yes. I asked how they rotated - he said front to back and he saw the guys do it... I told him it was not done and immediately brought the car back to the store. John noticed the tires not rotated and I asked them to rotate the tires. Another guy said my phone number did not work- they tried calling. It was an old phone # and I had give my cell number upon intake... They would not rotate my tires as he claimed my two front tires are bald. (liability issue) I knew I had some wear on the left front tire, yet still good overall tread. I did not have much wear on the right front tire and it now looks worn (worse). I was lied to. I feel cheated and believe that my front tires were changed out in order to sell me new ones... There is less than 20 thousand miles on those Michelin tires/compare to rear tires. I have been lied to and do not trust this store or the men to treat me right. I cant even be sure my oil and filter was changed. Your store/company has a problem. I am a very unsatisfied customer of over 20 years. Order# [protected]
misdiagnosis/unethical
On Friday 6/8/18, my son's car would not start after parking at mcdonald's, so he pushed it from there next door to Tire Kingdom on Wesley Chapel Blvd. in Wesley Chapel, FL.
He told them he believed it was the starter. They said they would check the battery, starter, alternator, etc. They quoted to fix the starter and would contact if it was something else.
They called back to say that the starter looked new and that the motor had seized due to no oil in the truck and offered him the name of someone not affiliated with Tire Kingdom who would give him a good price on fixing his motor. This seemed suspicious since we knew the truck had oil.
This all seemed nice, until we had it towed somewhere else and his motor was not seized, they moved it easily on arrival to the shop. They identified it was the starter and the truck is running fine now.
I feel wholeheartedly they or he were trying to scam my son and drained the oil out of his truck and gave him the contact info. to a "friend" for engine repair which as you know is extremely costly.
We will not be returning to Tire Kingdom no matter what.
grouchy associate... he keeps telling the managers how he can't keep this up.."he's not houdini"... absolutely terrible customer service from him.
The manager Ben was extremely polite and represented a great image...the old man needs to be spoken to immediately or told he needs to leave. Ben kept trying to resolve issues, the older man kept making excuses in front of all of us in the lobby. Ben apologized several Times to us all and said he would speak to him about his rude behavior..."Ben, great job..old guys needs to be written up."
unethical business practices
To Whom It May Concern,
My girlfriend and I have been frequenting The Tire Kingdom near our home for many years. We live in Saint Petersburg, Florida and the Tire Kingdom location is on 16th Street and 54th Ave North. We have always overlooked some of the shady business practices in the mechanic shop industry, that everyone in society, including us, have become accustomed to overlooking, as long as it was not very excessive. I am emailing Tire Kingdom's corporate office because if I was directly involved with the brand I would like to know if any of our stores were participating excessively in these normal unethical business practices. Unfortunately the neighborhood store in Saint Petersburg on 16th St and 54th Ave N, where we have been going for many years, has now gone beyond the socially acceptable unethical business practices of the mechanic shop industry. I hope you do not take this as an attempt to receive something for free and please use this to help with improving the necessary checks and balances implemented in your stores to prevent these unethical business practices. In the past four visits to the store both my girlfriend and myself have experienced issues with either being told our lug nuts on our vehicle were bad and need to be replaced or they could not get our tires back on after a tire rotation. The first time this happened to both of us I just overlooked it and bought the new lug nuts, but when we went back again for a tire rotation and the same excuse was given I had to say something. There has also been two different occasions where they lost the tire caps to our Range Rover, again the first time I overlooked the issue but when it happened on the very next visit I had to address this with the store manager and by some coincidence they found the tire caps in their garage somewhere. When I found out the tire caps for the Range Rover are worth hundreds of dollars it all made sense. We will not be giving Tire Kingdom our business anymore and are very disappointed because we have been frequenting this location for quite some time.
Best regards,
Loyal customer
oil change
I took my vehicle in for an oil change they kept my vehicle all day and never did the oil change and yet they billed me for it! Im reporting the store to the police! And every news station and fraudulent contact im able to make will hear of your dishonesty! You should all have someone do the exact same to your vehicles! What you have do ne is stealing, lying and manipulating to get a fast buck! Crooks! Evil evil bunch of nasty low life crooks!
And the Boca store is into thievery. Liers cheets and thieves...
oil change
The local Tire Kingdom (TK) upsells to Synthetic Oil, claiming that it's a Manuf. requirement. After showing them the Owner' Manual specs. for regular SAE 5W-30, they said it was wrong. I later showed a Chrysler website that listed oils under spec MS-? that they claimed was the reason, and it showed Conventional & Synthetics that were approved. They said it was wrong — they knew better. BTW, I owned a Dodge dealership. They just don't care if they're not up-charging. They openly lied to me.
attention to detail
Very Dissatisfied. I take my vehicle to T.K. on S.R. 7 (zip 33498.) In the summer oil plug was stripped took almost a week to get the part and I had to call the shop continually to get updates (strike 1). Yesterday (10/27/17) scheduled an oil change & tire rotation (inflation light is on). No rotation nothing noted, light is still on (i inflated the tire myself ) and sticker was forgotten. Spoke to Mgr Chuckie (?) at 8am 10/28/17, was put on hold for almost 10 minutes (strike 2 if not 3.) I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt not to complain but to ensure that someone else is not let go with 7lb below standard tire pressure (safety hazard.)
My business along with the other 4 cars I own and all my friends will be going elsewhere (Firestone, Goodyear, Pep boys) or just do it myself. I have owned repair facilities, body shops, towing companies and know that customers should never be treated like an after thought.
Good luck Tire Kingdom - you are headed down the wrong path.
P.S. Front counter help have a nasty attitude to boot. Need to recruit customer service oriented people.

unsatisfactory service
-Initial Date: 10/09/2017
-Client number: Unknown
-Full description: On said date 10/09/2017, I visited Tire Kingdom (1316 Royal Palm Beach Blvd) for the following services: New Battery & A/C diagnostic). I advised Tire Kingdom staff my car is in need of a new battery, due to the fact it was not driving smoothly. Also, I advised staff my A/C unit partially works. Cool air would blow roughly 20 to 30 minutes, however it wasn't consistent flow. I picked up my car the same day; however, I was not satisfied with services received. Issue (1) My car had a slow take off (2 sec pause before driving) which it did not have prior to initial visit. While I understand this may not be a battery issue, the manager did a poor job of explaining services. He repeatedly stated he stands by his mechanics performance. We were unable to see eye to eye because I couldn't understand how my car take off was fine but now said manager mentioned the type of engine my car has... So my question to the manager was, do you know this as a fact? If so, why wasn't this addressed in the initial visit. I highly doubt it was a engine issue, as I had a new engine replacement at Royal Palm Beach Nissan dealership a few months ago. Issue (2) I paid $119 for A/C diagnostic so I could get a rough estimate of services needed and/ or required to resolve my A/C problem. I planned on re-visiting Tire Kingdom on the next pay cycle for services, however when I left Tire Kingdom on 10/09/2017 my A/C unit was blowing heat, no cool air at all. When I asked the manager how is it that my A/C was partially working, however it's not working at all after services. Furthermore, I had no choice but to return my car on 10/12/2017 around 11AM due to the fact it was extremely uncomfortable to drive with No A/C, especially when it's blowing heat within the car in Florida humid climate. That same day I received a call from Tire Kingdom staff stating they ordered the wrong A/C compressor, therefore my car would not be ready until the following day. I advised staff that my profession is personal training and I have clients to train 7 days a week. I asked if I could pick up my car because it's essential I make it to work, as I'm a 1099 employee - independent contractor and my pay is dependent on services. I was told my car was not drivable and I would receive a call on 10/13/2017. Not only were services unsatisfactory, on 10/13/2017 I had to cancel (9) scheduled training sessions - lost of wages for the day is $157.50.
-Desirable resolution: request for credit towards bill for lost wages on 10/13/2017 OR discount (or credit) towards future services i.e. Oil change, tire rotation in the amount of wages lost. As a loyal customer, who spent roughly around $[protected] for services that were not satisfactory to my liking I would like Tire Kingdom upper management to review my complaint to resolve this issue.
Thank you for your time and patience concerning this matter.
poor communication

On 09/16/2017 we went to the Tire Kingdom on 5107 Fowler Avenue Tampa Fl 33617 to purchase 4 new tires/install and an oil change.
We specifically asked that the spare on the rear passenger side be removed and placed in the trunk and put the new tire on the rim in the trunk since the tire in the trunk had blown out and we had to put the spare on the car. Prior to leaving, we asked Jeff if he understood and wrote it down. He said he did.
After getting home we noticed that they had taken the spare tire off the rim and threw it in the trunk without putting the original rim back on the car with the new tire on it.
I called Tire Kingdom and Jeff put me on hold for 8 minutes. I thought he had forgotten about my call so I hung up and called back and was placed on hold for another 10 minutes. When he finally answered, I asked him how much would they charge to put a tire on a rim and he said $25 total. I said then you need to credit the account for that amount since we do not want to come back to have this corrected since they didn't understand the first time. He said he understood correctly. I asked then why didn't someone call us and ask why would we want a tire in the trunk that isn't on the rim. He then said I was rude because he thought I said he was a mess. I corrected him and said I didn't say he was a mess but that they were inept and that he was actually being rude to me.
We were also charged for 4 tire disposal fee. We only had 3 tires disposed of because the old tire was left in the trunk.
I want to be refunded $3 for the disposal fee since we will have to pay someone else to actually do it and $25 credit so that we can have the spare put on the rim since it was erroneously taken off in the first place.
unprofessional behaviour and service
I set up an appointment to get 4 new tires on 08/09/17 at 3:30pm. This was at the Tire Kingdom store located at 1544 Palm Beach Lakes Blvd, West Palm Beach, Fl. 33401. I spent 3 ½ hours that day and I left with a lug nut that was stripped on the front passenger side and on the driver side by the techs at the store. I did not get any tires that day because of this. On 08/10/17 I called and spoke to the store manager at 11:30am and tried to explain what had happened the day prior. He responded by saying he had clients in front of him and once he took care of them he would call me back. He did not call back so I called him at 12:30pm and said that I would be at his store in 20 minutes to speak with him. He told me he would not be there because he was leaving for a meeting. The store manager offered to set up an appointment to which I said yes for Friday 08/11/17 at 1:00pm. He said he would be there to speak with me. After the call and speaking with him I did not feel like I was a priority and I called the corporate office. I explained to Corporate what had happened to me and I was told that they would speak to the store and they would call me back same day. I also asked for an email address to Corporate and was told there wasn't any. I have still not received a call back. I arrive at 1:00pm on 8/11/17 and I was told that the manager was not there and would not be in today, but they found my appointment for 1:00pm that the manager put in the system. I found that odd but I stayed to let them replace my tires. The 2 rear tires were replaced but they were unable to remove the 2 front tires due to the stripped lug nuts. I did not leave the store until 7:00pm which was 6 hours. On Saturday 8/12/17 I came to the store at 7:15am and spoke to the manager in person. He told me that if he were there on the first day he would not have touched my car. He then proceeded to lecture me on how the lug nuts swell up on my type of vehicle (Chrysler 300) and that my tire situation was a nightmare. I asked him why he was not there on 8/11/17 and he told me that the appointment was to 8/12/17. I tried to explain to him that I know what day I scheduled but he was pretty much denying and arguing with me. He told me to come back at 9:00am when his mechanic gets in to see if they can remove the lug nuts. They were able to remove the lug nuts and replace the tires 6 hours later. I was also charged full price for the tires. I spent 3 days and around 15 hours to get 4 new tires. The only discount I got was for the mechanic removing the lug nuts which was not my fault. I paid full price for the 4 tires $415.00. I do not feel that this is acceptable and the manager was not sympathetic to my situation. As a matter of fact he tried to sell me an alignment which I refused. It is now 8/16/17 and I still have not received a call back from corporate. I am a very unhappy customer and I hope this gets addressed. I also want to point out that the staff treated me with courtesy and respect when the manager didn't. It felt like it was my fault the way that I was treated by the store manager. At no time did I raise my voice or become belligerent. I truly believe in being fair and giving second chances which I felt I gave this company, but it seems to me that service and customer care is not a part of your mission. I really think that I should have received a discount on my tires. I plan on sharing my situation with the BBB and some boards to share my experience with your company. Again, by giving you a heads up I think is being more than fair.

a/c repair on myelantra
I took my 2001 elantra to tire kingdom in dunedin fl to have my A/C checked.
The manager told me the evaporator core was leaking and it would cost $1300.00 dollars to repair and have it done in an hour. I told him no I don't have the money right now. I took my car for a second opinion to another mechanic. He checked my A/C and said it needed a recharge of freon. So I had the freon put in and my A/C works great. Your company tried to rip me off big time and I will never go to tire kingdom again. I've been going to tire kingdom for years and spent thousands of dollars on my wife's car. I wonder how much money they ripped me off. I will be filing a complaint to the BBB.

auto service
I am completely dissatisfied with the service I received and want to dispute the attached invoice.
It took over a month for them to get the car back to me. They mentioned several times they had no experience with my car and had to call around several places for assistance.
They broke my EGS module performing services and then charged me for reprogramming it.
They returned my car with more issues than I had when I brought it to them.
I want to know how you intend to rectify this situation.
It is currently charged to my credit card which I have no intention of paying.
service, customer care
June 6th 2017, I was told by the man in the shop that my car would be looked at and fixed. I needed ac recharge, after calling around 345pm I was told that it would be taken care of. I arrived at the shop 4 o'clock sharp. Again I was told my car was next in line. And it would go back in 20 minutes. The work would take less than an hour. It's 630pm my car hasn't gone back it's still
Sitting out the front. All I get is that the shop is backed up. This is a discrace. 3 hours of my time has been taken away from me. I came to this location specifically because they said it would get done. Is this how tire kingdom treats its customers? What do you have to say for yourselfs? How are you going to resolve this?
