Pharmacist refuses to fill a prescription at walgreens pharmacy
I presented a prescription for a one-month supply of Vyvanse capsules 60 milligrams to the pharmacy counter at the Walgreen's pharmacy at 699 West Germantown Pike, Norristown, PA 19403 at approximately 1:15 pm on Thursday, November 17, 2022. The pharmacy assistant consulted with the pharmacist and informed me that would not honor the prescription because it was from an out-of-state doctor even though I had filled the same drug prescription at least 10 times written by the same doctor (whose DEA and other relevant information was printed on the prescription) in the past 18 months at several Walgreen pharmacies in Pennsylvania, which was confirmed by the computer records that were retrieved by the pharmacy department as I waited. I told them that. However, then the pharmacist refused to fill the prescription because my home address was in Philadelphia, PA while the pharmacy is located in Norristown, PA, which is about 15 or 20 minutes away. Thus, the pharmacy staff argued, I was not a local person. However, nearly all the prescriptions I had filled at Walgreen branches were not located in Philadelphia, but rather in surrounding areas, primarily because Philadelphia branches were experiencing shortages of the medication. I told the pharmacy assistant this information; however, after she passed this new information to the pharmacist, he outright refused to fill the prescription. The the assistant recommended that I try smaller pharmacies in the city of Philadelphia. I have contacted five or six pharmacies in Philadelphia already. I couldn't find one that had the medication in stock. There was no explanation of what policy, rule, law, or statute that states a prescription presented by someone whose home address is in Philadelphia should be refused service by a pharmacy that was no more than about ten miles from the city line. I still haven't been able to fill the prescription, which I need for my ADHD.
Desired outcome: For this Walgreens branch to fill my prescription and find out why the pharmacist wouldn't talk to me.
Customer service
On Nov.8 my doctor called in Novolog, at the Francis Lewis Blvd. and Hollis Ave location Queens N.Y. I tried to make contact for two days, the phone system kick me out the system 3 times. I made contact today 7 days later, this Walgreens location didn't not refill my prescription until I called today which they say will be ready tomorrow. It took 7 days! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE! Were do I start in the 45 min I weighted for my covid shot I watched the staff in the pharmacy disrespect and talk down to serval customers! She even started yelling at one lady just cause there system was the problem then after that poor lady finally got her prescription back some 20 minutes latter after just dropping it off i'm sure cause it made the staff feel better by making this poor lady weight there even longer after disrespecting her the way the lady did! Then they did almost the same thing to some poor old man I just wounder if they think they have a badge not medication that's how they act then after my 45 min weight the lady that gave me my covid shot hammered that in so fast I couldn't use my are for a week! Now being a pharmacy you would think they know to inject that slowly into the mussel to keep the pain to a minimum but no my arm was dead 4 almost a week I will not return to this store after this treatment and the way the treat their customers im sure the lady that was there feels the same way! Maybe someone should remind them we are all human and no one is perfect specially them!
Desired outcome: i don't care i wont be back but someone needs to know how disrespectful the staff at the west side wall green pharmacy in Olympia WA is to all their customers go knock that chip off that [censored]ed shoulder!
Pharmacy
Every 28 days I see my pain specialist electronically sends a prescription for Morphine 30 mg. t.i. d. Qty 84 tabs. I have been doing this for 10 years. I always use Walgreens Pharmacy. Often I am told they can't fill the prescription because they have to order the morphine 30 mg. You would think since they have a purchase sale history every 28 days of the same item that the computer should be able to anticipate the need for stock and have enough on hand for pickup every 28 days. My phone app can do this!
The problem is my prescription runs out on the morning of the 28th day. I see the pain clinic in the morning and plan to go to Walgreens to pickup up the prescription and thus the 2 PM scheduled dose of MS 30 mg. If Walgreens can't fill, or even partially fill my prescription I am without medication. By 6 PM my pain is intolerable, by 9 pm withdrawal symptoms start.
I suffer from chronic neuropathic pain, phantom testicular pain, chronic prostate pain and PTSD.
So when Walgreens can't plan ahead and be there to provide my prescription I get very nervous and the attendant PTSD is bad.
They give the supply problem excuse. However if I call 3 days ahead and let them know I will be in on the 28th day, they can order it in time. So where is the supply problem. It is a dismissive excuse making tactic that does not allow for any work around. It is wholly inappropriate. Walgreens Auto Refill never has any problem with inventory and reliably provides prescriptions on time.
The patient should not have to do Walgreens Pharmacy purchasing schedule. The onus should not be placed upon chronic pain patients to tell the pharmacy when to make their supply orders.
On November 7th, 2022 I went to the Drive thru and was told I had to wait until they ordered more. I didn't get the auto-phone call stating there is a delay. I pressed them for a work-around and asked if they could partially fill the prescription and I could get the rest later. I was told the pharmacy NO LONGER does this. I was then rudely given an ultimatum by the pharmacist (KJ) "Take the 82 pills we have and forfeit the other 2 or wait until later in the week."
I can't be without my meds! My appointments are tied to the prescription every 28 days. Patients with opioid prescriptions have a contract with the clinic and we can not change it. If a partial prescription is to be filled we have to inform the clinic and get permission. I, nor has the pain clinic ever heard of being forced to forfeit part of a Schedule 2 opioid prescription legally provided by the physician. Walgreens does NOT have the right to alter the physician's prescription.
I told Walgreens pharmacy I had to call to inform the pain clinic and get permission to accept just the 82 available. The clinic called back and altered my appointment schedule to fit the 82 pills available. They didn't like what I told them. Again, Walgreens can not unilaterally void part of a prescription just because they failed to plan, to anticipate, a regular purchase with a 10 year track record.
When I went back to the drive through to pick up the prescription they had not even filled it. KJ scolded me, "I thought you were going to call your pain clinic, you never called back!" I told him I had just had just received the call back. He said, "It will be 15 minutes." and then put the phone receiver down, dismissing me. I called back into the microphone and was able to get him to pick it back
up. "What now!" he barked. I said, "Excuse me I am obviously a chronic pain patient, I have unrelenting chronic pain so cut me some slack, without my meds I get antsy. You should take more caution in the way you handle this situation." His reply, "yeah" then he exited the drive through area. I drove around and went into the store.
When I got into the store I was told it would be 45 minutes because KJ is administering shots that people had scheduled for this time. So why did he say 15 minutes?
I complained to the store manager and her attitude was remarkably poor. She defended the pharmacist, suggested I may have misunderstood. No I didn't. She too tried to dismiss me. Emotion and voice inflection have powerful effects. Neither seemed to care. Neither cared about the negative impact their actions had.
I am angry that I was treated so poorly by both the pharmacist and store manager. Neither had any level of compassion, understanding or empathy. They should not transfer their job stress to customers.
Walgreens employees are not to talk down to customers (I have advanced degrees, I am not an idiot). They should not be in the business of giving customers ultimatums. They should not willy nilly alter a physician's schedule 2 opioid prescription. They should not be withholding medication from a patient. Walgreens needs to be able to offer a work around instead of denying patients their medications.
I don't deserve such poor treatment. I have been in pain for 35 years, I try my best. I rely on my meds. I rely on Walgreens to provide it. I don't want to be the one responsible to insure there is enough inventory on hand. That's no my job. Hell I have no job, I'm medically disabled. I can't be relied upon to do Walgreens job for them. I should not have been put in that position. Its ridiculous. The store manager needs to attend a week of kindergarten classes and relearn what nice means.
Desired outcome: I want a formal apology that includes an expression of regret, acknowledgment of responsibility, make amends, and an assurance it won't happen again. Walgreens should train pharmacists and managers how better to handle conflict.
Pharmacy understaffed and untruthful
11/12/22 I have been trying to get rx cough medicine for over one week and a half. was told that cough medicine would finally be in store on 11/10/22. I have been trying to get thru to the Walgreens pharmacy on Golf Rd in Delafield WI for 3 days.
Last night Fri Nov 11th I called 10 times thruout the day. The last time was at 7:21pm. I was put on hold with the computer saying there was 1 person ahead of me. I was on hold for 2hrs and 20mins. That means I was on hold till the store closed.
What kind of pharmacy is it turning into? The lack of help is a sorry excuse. The customer shouldn't suffer because the inviroment of the day. Just because those in office have convinced people to not work because they get paid better to stay home and become couch potatoes like the person running this Country.
Back to my other problems:
1. Manufacturers are being changed with out the customers knowing. My problem with that is the innert ingredients aren't the same. I get terrible reactions when that happens.
2. I need rxs that can be to be left in stocks bottles. That way I can distinguish between them. It makes life easier.
3. People that work with people who take meds. Need to show compassion towards them. They need to like they job and do everything possible to make their life easier.
4. I'm tired of hearing excuses. We to busy, we don't have enough staff, no one wants to work. Excuses are empty words.
5. One if the 10 times I called. I asked to speak to the store manager to ask them to send a written message to the pharmacist to call me. She then wanted me to give her personal information to do that. By this time I was a little heated. Why would I give a store manager my personal info?
Her response was they're so busy back there. They don't have enough help. My response was do something about it. Give better incentives to get help. She said why don't u get a job here. I explained that right now I'm rehabbing from a knee accident and am in a wheelchair. That there's no way a wheelchair could maneuver in the pharmacy. She then under her breath said Walgreens hires people with disabilities. Again I said that a wheelchair wouldn't fit thru the pharmacy. She then started to say she was very busy and she was done talk and proceeded to hang up on me.
6. Today I found out that this pharmacy is one that is being turned into a Get all their scripts from a central hub by the Corporate headquarters in Illinois.
So now you interested more in the bottom line instead of Customers.
What has happened to pharmacy. Their going down the drain. And yurr helping them.
7. One last thing. I was incharge of a pharmacy. I did everything from.
Waiting on Customers
Doing all the ordering for Schedule I, II, II meds. Sending in the triplicate forms for the I and II meds. Which included Cocaine. To all other meds in the pharmacy. Also the things we carried that weren't rxs.
Answering phone calls. Taking either rx numbers ir doctors info to get rxs.
We kept up on the phone calls we made. If we didn't get a call back right away. We tried again. We didn't leave customer's on the outs.
All this was done by hand. The rx labels were typed on a typewriter. When we got a new rx we stamped the number on it and in the log book.
We. Never told customer's we were To busy. We don't have enough help. We Just Did It.
All these things were done by 2 people. We did over 200 scripts a day.
Know your thinking when and where we're we located. We were in Marina del Rey, CA. We served 5 cities. We had customers from all walked of life. Didn't matter they were all treated the same.
When a customer came to pick up their rxs they didn't wait to tell me their name. I knew it. Even if they were new to us.
Yes times have changed but things can still be done with care and respect.
Workers have to want to come to work. To like what they are doing.
When I called to talk to the store manager. The clerk that answered the phone sounded like she was drunk and asleep. When I said she wanted to speak to the store manager. She perked up got a cheery voice.
That's just sad and not perfessional.
I saw that you had 1347 unresponsive and 213 responded to complaints. So I'm not sure this will ever get read. Which is sad. That no way to run a business in the HELPING INDUSTRY.

Walgreens is the worst pharmacy ever. Every time I try to fill my prescription they never fill it and come up with an excuse. They even ask personal somewhat illegal questions about my medication that has nothing to do with them or their job like saying that I shouldn’t need a refill and how much medication do I have. That is none of their business! That is my doctors job. And telling me the doctor should write it out better. They are horrible humans and incompetent.
Desired outcome: To have them fired for not doing their job!
They are the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. They don’t fill your prescription and if they do it takes forever.

October 29th 2022 I had my daughter’s prescription transferred from Meijers Pharmacy Detroit Michigan to your St Cloud location. When we arrived We where informed there was no prescription and the tech did not offer to help. This really upset me. On 10/17 my son was in Cherry Hill Hospital NJ diagnosed with blood clots in his leg. He was discharged with a RX for Eliquis starting at a loading dose of 4 pills a day instead of 2 a day for 1 week followed by the regular daily dosage. He was given his first dose at the hospital and discharged around 4pm. We stopped by the pharmacy on the way home and was told that the Insurance would not cover it because the loading dose, they only would cover the 2 a day. So back to the hospital we went the next morning at 7 am, which was 3 hours passed his am dose. Finally he was seen at the ER and given a card for a FREE 30 day supply of Eliquis to get him past the loading dose and into the 2 a day the pharmacy would cover. We handed in the card with the Rx and received his 60 pills of the 88 ordered because a not too bright tech or pharmacist billed his insurance instead of using the card we handed them. What they did with the card is beyond me, Due to their MISTAKE, if we can't get the Hematologist he saw for the first time on the 3rd to call the insurance company, my son will be without medicine for 9 days, not to mention it is advised on product information that his is most dangerous for a stroke. I am retired on fixed income and can't afford to pay $800 for this medicine, Someone at Walgreens must correct this problem because it is their fault we are in this position. I emailed Walgreens corporate several days ago but no one has contacted me.
Desired outcome: To get his medication before he runs out for the blood clots in his legs

I made on line appointments for my wife and I to have flu shots at Walgreens #07032, 2451 Hampton Road, Henderson NV 89052, today, November 3,2022. The appointment times were for 3:00 and 3:15 PM. We arrived at approximately 2:50 PM, and were checked in and told to be seated until the pharmacist was ready to administer the shots. At 3:45, I inquired as to why we were still waiting, and was told that there was only 1 person available to give shots. It should be noted that during the entire time we were waiting, no one administered a vaccine shot to any other customer. The pharmacist on duty only was processing prescriptions during the entire time. Finally, at 3:55, my wife and I were given our vaccines. This lack of consideration and poor management on the part of the Walgreens staff is unprofessional as well as showing a total lack of consideration and respect for its customers. It takes less than 5 minutes to administer the vaccine. Knowing that customers who had made appointments were waiting almost an hour on the part of the staff is unconscionable.
Desired outcome: I would like an apology as well as some compensation for my wasted time.
Would like a response to see if anyone cares at Walgreens.
Nine times out of ten, the service at Walgreens on Hampden Ave., in Denver, CO is terrible. I've been put on hold for more than hour today trying to talk to the pharmacist. This unacceptable wait has happened more times than I can count. Oftentimes, when I’ve been on hold and waited for 30 minutes, I will be disconnected and have to call them back to be put...

Each and every time I fill a perscription I have trouble picking it up because they have a different excuse each time. I used to fill all of mine and my wifes meds here but no longer. I deceided to use cheaper and more effecient pharmacies. Walgreens sucks and when these refills run out its all over there are far too many pharmacies around to just use a poorly run place like walgreens. Everybody pay attention you will save money using any other place but this place. Sometime I go around noon and the pharmacy is closed for the day, who ever heard of that happening but it does at walgreens. This place is run by nitwits and [censored]s in the local level and at the corporate level. Go anywhere like cvs or the little guys and they will treat you like a real customer not like this the worst pharmacy on the planet. North arlington is the worst of all walgreens but I tried other walgreens in the past and they are all poorly run by [censored]s and idiots. Do not shop at walgreens you will regret it. Use any other pharmacy and you will happier and you will save money.
Desired outcome: From now on I will use other pharmacies to fill my medications and not Walgreens.
I think North Arlington Pharmacy is singling out old people as weak and not filling their meds like the way that they used to. Now they make me make unnecessary trips many times to fill them by being closed when they are supposed to be open or saying you have to wait two days more to pick them up.
This is not fair during a pandemic or the fact that I am 74 years old. They should be trying to make it easier not harder but they do it anyway and in a truly rude way. I will not be using this Walgreens or any Walgreens in the futur3e or until Corporate can make me understand that the rude and unpredictable employee rules and regulations can be totally explained and if not I will go on a mission to bring Walgreens to the grave.WALGREENS IS A RUDE AND UNPREDICTABLE
PLACE TO DO BUSINESS---------------GO ANYWHERE BUT WALGREENS
I am not done by a long shot I have just started because these big name stores have ruffled my feathers for the time. There are thousands and thousands of pharmacies out there to do business with so its not like we have to do any business with Walgreens but others here right familiar complaints just like I do so we are not alone but our buying power is strong and if each and every customer reads and heeds my requests we can make huge changes at Walgreens or put them out of business and give all those little guy mom and pop stores a chance again because they deserve it. Walgreens has become their worst enemy because they have let the old and what they perceive as weak down. We are not weak we are very powerful and when coming together as a group we are un beatable. WALGREENS DESERVES TO BE OUT OF BUSINESS BECAUSE OF PRAYING ON THE OLDER GENERATION-------------------------- PUT THEM OUT OF BUSINESS NOW----------
Perhaps I will get my point across by my complaints. I want this to be read by the men or women at the top that controls the strings of Corporate Governance because obviously someone is not doing their jobs correctly. I am only a small time customer 74 years old and will not take this shXX anymore from these too big to fail companies that treat old people like crap, OLD PEOPLE OUT THERE WE HAVE A LOT OF POWER< DO NOT SHOP AT WALGREENS THEY SUCK>
North Arlington Walgreens Ridge Park Drive and Ridge Road. Poorly run and it should close down because of the bad employees. Each person that manages the store is not able to function as a manager. They don't know the store rules or the store waranties or how they work. They don't know how to read dates on their own records or from dates on the bottles of medicines. They have a different excuse everytime I try to refill an RX.
DO NOT SHOP AT WALGREENS-----------YOU WILL REGRET SHOPPING HERE!
WALGREENS, CLOSED WITH NO EXPLANATIONS.
How many times has this happened? It seems to be a weekly accurence. You need your medicines you don't need a store that deceides to close up because it is poorly run by employees. They can not tell you so that you can go elseware. I went to a different Walgreens and tried to pick up my medicine and was told to go back to the Walgreens that filled it last time that was now closed for whatever reason in the day time during business hours. They are un believable and poorly run by [censored]s nitwits and bumbling idiots. TIME TO CLOSE THIS STORE OR ALL OF WALGREENS< D NOT SHOP AT WALGREENS -------------YOU WILL REGRET SHOPPING HERE!
Please read everybody that writes in these review sections, they wouldn't waste their time if its not true. I have been having problems for years with the employees at North Arlington stores and they are always to blame. I am a Customer and can do business with any establishment, I choose Walgreens but after this last episode I will be going back to the little guys that are all over the place.
North Arlington Walgreens is the one currently giving me the problems. It is not just one person but all of these employees that take care of the medicine have the same problem with reading dates and information. They have an excuse each and every time for not being able to give me my pills and I am 74 years old and its hard to get around but they don't care, during the pandemic I only went out to get my groceries and meds but Walgreens made me go out many times a week and they didn't have to the were just ball breakers and nitwits and [censored]s. They should close down the North Arlington store and get rid of these ill enformed and uneducated [censored]s. DONT SHOP AT THIS NORTH ARLINGTON STORE YOU WILL REGRET IT.
My neighborhood Walgreens no longer accepts discount card for pain medication for the uninsured.
Uninsured. It’s a problem. I pay cash to see my pain specialist 4x a year. I pay cash for all my rx including Premarin. I’m going without Premarin this month and probably every month from here on to pay for hydrocodone rx.
Clearly, I’ll be looking for a friendlier rx option.
Thank you for the heads up today. The day it is to be filled.
I waited on hold for 45 minutes to get this news by the way.
If this is Walgreens corporate decision or just tacoma Washington, or just the Walgreens on 6th and Stevens decision, I’d like to know to shop for another pharmacy.

Horrible Service Walgreens at 2041 Georgia Ave NW, DC
Walgreens in Howard University- Washington, DC, there is never friendly service. Yesterday (11-2-22/2:30pm) I dropped off my prescription and picked it up at 3:30pm. According to the pharmacist at the counter, the doctor's name is unclear and cannot be found in the system. Actually pharmacy and Dentistry is not far between 1st floor and 2nd floor, easy to check with internal phone. I back to Dentistry and explain the situation. Dentistry registration is very helpful and called Walgreen. I submitted my prescription again and wait another 15 mins. When my turn, the same pharmacist told me it's not ready wait 45 mins. again. I very disappointed and asked my prescription and went to CVS near Glenmont Metro, MD20902. I got my prescription within 30 mins. Walgreen HUH customer service is very poor and this is not first time. Although I am HUH employee I decided not to use this Walgreen again, they need to re-educate customer service training.
Desired outcome: Please send secret customer to check situation

Pharmacy at McLean Virginia on Chain Bridge RD
Terrible Service. I checked on a prescription online yesterday and it showed that it had been received. I screen printed that screen.
Today it showed as prescription filled on 10/26/2022.
I called the pharmacy and have been on hold an hour and a half. First 45 minutes the message said that there were more than three people ahead of me. Then it changed to 2 people and then after 15 more minutes to 1 person ahead of me.
Then it changed to a generic. Message “please hold on. Our staff is answering other calls. Please hold on and we will be with you shortly.
This is crazy!
I am out of pills and desperately need to speak to the pharmacist. I had a similar problem a few weeks ago with the same branch and finally had to go there. That was after 2 hrs, 30
Minutes of hold while they were on a “lunch break”. The pharmacist was not at all pleasant with me and I asked for the manager. She was back helping the pharmacist, but was very pleasant and assisted me quickly.
I just want to say that I have never had any issue with Walgreens at 5841 N Washington Blvd In Arlington, VA.
As I finish this I am still getting the message after one hour and 13 minutes. I have lost faith that they will ever answer my call.
Desired outcome: A phone call from pharmacist in McLean telling me that the order is ready for pickup

MONDAY, 21 OCTOBER 2022
RE: WALGREENS POPLAR/REESE. I have been on hold for over an hour (oops the attendant answered after 1hr 0mins 47sec). I asked the person who answered the call to transfer me to the Pharmacist. My call was transferred and after 4min waiting, for the Pharmacist to pick up... she did and disconnected me. You may ask: "Why in the world would you hold for over an hour?" Well, I'd like to explain the dilemma.
I have been battling a sinus and upper respiratory situation for more than 12 days. We thought it was resolved only to return with a vengeance. I went to my PCP this morning and it was decided that I needed an alternative treatment, so he transmitted several prescriptions to Walgreens at Poplar Avenue and Reese Road. I left the downtown area and went straight to the Pharmacy. Feeling quite TERRIBLE (I parked in front of the store and called the Pharmacy. I inquired about my pending prescriptions and explained that I would wait so that I would not have to come back out. The staff member on the phone said she would show that I was waiting. I waited over an hour and when I went to the drive-through where I was given one prescription. I paid for it and started to leave for home, but then I remembered my doctor called off more than one medicine he was prescribing. I went back around and the young lady told me that one was all she saw. I called to speak with the Pharmacist to ask if she could look and make sure I had all that I needed to get. I explained to her that I was sick and had been waiting for over an hour. She said to me, "Ma'am I don't know anything about that but you have some more prescriptions but I haven't gotten to them yet." I asked if I could wait because one of the meds was a different inhaler and I really needed that one. Needless to say, I couldn't wait the additional hour she said it would take for it to be ready. I went on home, but before I could get there, my doctor called me and said he had gotten a result from some bloodwork and had transmitted one additional medication. By this time I was in tears and was so tired I just went home. I called my daughter and asked her to get my medicines and she went to the pharmacy and was given everything but that 10AM transmitted medication... The pharmacist said it was not ready. I wanted to know what time I could come to get the medicine, thus the reason for the call that I held for over an hour only to be disconnected. I try to give the benefit of the doubt but there is no one breathing who can convince me that the Pharmacist did not purposefully disconnect me. Walgreens is NOT the same. I concluded that so very long ago, but the one thing I had not experienced until today... is a HEARTLESS Pharmacist. 1hr 5min 37sec; THREE visits to the Pharmacy (SMH) and I still do not have all of the medicine my doctor wanted me to start today.
TUESDAY: 01 NOVEMBER 2022
UPDATE! I went to the Parmacy again but I did not call, expecting a different outcome! The Pharmacy Tech was yelling and short with EVERY customer she encountered... including me! I was in DISBELIEF! The Phamacist did absolutely NOTHING to get her out of the window waiting on customers. I RECORDED HER! UNBELIEVABLE! I still do not have all of my medicine. She told me to tell my doctor that he should have known Walgreens no longer had the meds available he prescribed for my congestion and cough. I intend to do just that... TODAY! I have been with Walgreens since February 1974. I am out of that system!
Getting passport photos
I went to the Walgreen’s in our town to get passport photos. The sign said “Passport photos in minutes.” The photo person took two photos of me and said she would call me once printed. The machines were tied up by people making photos. I called 4 hours later and the machines were literally still tied up by the same 2 people. The photo person couldn’t give me a time when they might be ready. I then spoke to the manager who was equally as worthless as the photo person. My point is: Either set times limits on the photo machines or have one exclusively for Walgreen’s staff.
Desired outcome: Set time limits on the photo machines or get one for staff only.

Lansing, Michigan Cedar St. Store.. Text message for refill on 10/21/22 for symbicort and refill text on 10/25/22 for proair neither have been filled as of today(11/1/22). My Dad called to get a status on his medications that he had been waiting on for over a week and while on the phone his call was transferred to figure out why his inhaler hadn't been filled and was in limbo for 72hrs after transfer he was asked to hold, was placed on hold, then the call started ringing as if he was next to be answered then the call was pretty much ignored and sent to a menu that directed us to a survey or to just hang up. This is unacceptable care for patients.
Desired outcome: Prescriptions to be filled in timely manner and for my disabled Dad to not have to make multiple trips for medications that are said to be ready and not ready upon arrival
