Airtel company is not a trusted company verfication of customer id is by airtel company by just one phone if custmer is not available then cutoff the phone

I had requested for a corporate Bill plan change from Myhome 299 on 2nd February 2008. When i visited airtel main office at Begumpet, Hyderabad they instructed me to clear off my unbilled amount which was Rs. 466 and i did pay it on 2nd February. After repeated checking from my end with customer care executives, i came to know that i have to keep a security deposit amount of Rs. 500, even this i deposited on 9th February. Even after doing this, till 25th February i am still on Myhome 299 and when i contacted their customer care they asks me to clear of my unbilled amount. Their customer care executive accepts the fact that th fault is from their end, but do not give any solution. As there is monopoly by airtel, these problems will not be solved easily. I am a customer for airtel for past 2 years without any payment default and even then also i have to got through all these pain.

i had got 2 yr advance rental plan postpaid plan on no.[protected]

we had requested for its disconnection 1 month before the period was suppose to end
for 1 month they pass the buck , by saying that our head/senior will call u for confirmation and their was no action for the another 2 months (in b/w we called 40-50 times either they hangout for long on phone or say we will call u soon )
they renewed our plan by themself ,and started adding late payment charges
when we complaint why they are doing so ?
they said we had talked to someone at your home and he had agreed to the plan offered by us (see how sticky they are)
On our complaining again and again that why you are adding from your side that we had requested for renewing the plan, they said no its not possible you had requested for that
we cant do any help regarding that ,they send a legal notice ,my father being a service people dont want to indulge in all this so paid an amt of 600 approx.so that matter ends
after 7 months there advocate called and send you are suppose to give 1000 rs to airtel we asked why they said we had issued a legal order and if we dont pay by today we will have to pay its 4 times in court ,we were forced to give that to because they declared deadline by today even though no notice was recieved by us but due to pressur at work at that time ,my father had given that amt

Please not only you should move on to other service providers in the interest of the satety of your friends and colleagues do advice them to disconnect from Airtel and use any other service provider.

i Ankush Patodia having mob.no.[protected].I send sms on 511 for deactivation of NOP services on 4Jan08 but the reply came from customer services that there is some server problem plz try after some time.On 6 JAN 08 i again send the same msg on 511 the reply was as it is afterthat i send sms uncountable times but reply came check ur operator services.I also call to customer care many times for speak to customer executive after computer system it says this number does not exits. i'm frustrated with the airtel services since they r continously deducting rs.5 daily, i will never recommened anyone for airtel.

Dear concerned

I had payed my airtel bill through the E-Seva outlets of Govt of AP(Alwal branch, Secunderabad). the airtel telecaller kept calling saying that i havnt payed the amount . Inspite of giving the reciept number, i kept getting reminders and calls. finally they barred my calls. i wish they have an efficient system in place for updating the payment details. i am a busy man and this is causing me a great loss of time and bussiness.

I regret taking this connection. since most bussiness associates know this number i am unable to change it.

before four months i got airtel broadband connection in this period i gave given six complints so far i spend every time more then fifteen minutes but the same problems comes again every time they are giving one pass word while i was feed one time is working again the same problem has comes . then when i was giving compliant they are making me fool, then agian they giveing some other pass word . how many times can i give compliant

if u possible u check my complients conversation

when i was given complient iasked your head office address one girl name is suja says in our head office security he will not allow u pls take neccery action

Airtell customer care is one of the most inefficient customer care I have ever come across. Airtel as a company does not have any respect towards there customers. They treat them as though there customers are living on companies mercy. I have a postpaid connection from past 6 years. I have been paying the bill of an average of Rs. 2,500/- every month and I have opted for ECS. Last month I forgot to keep the sufficient balance in my account and ECS got rejected. Customer care called me up and I issued the cheque immediately.

This month again, Airtel calls me up and says ECS is not clear. I check with the bank and the amount has been debited from my account. Surprising fact is, Airtel has sent the request for my previous bill as well which I have made by cheque!.

I called up to Airtel customer care and told them that the amount has been debited from my account and asked to check the same from there end. The person told me that the issue will be resolved in 24 hrs.

Within a day, i get another call from airtel customer care for the payment due! I explain them again and again to the rep. Then the calls started coming almost every day.. not one but multiple from different person. I called again to customer care and now they demand the bank statement from me. I don't understand one thing. Amount has been debited from my account means, it should be credited to aritel. Why cant they check there account and update the system.

These customer care ppl have no manners. They disconnect the call in the mid of the conversation. They have absolutely no information and just repeat the same sentence like parrots!

I have decided to disconnect from airtel! Airtel is no more good..! there customer care sucks... its not the ppl who are working there, its the company which sucks!

I have five connection with Airtel, two of my connection is used for my business purpose. On 23rd February, I made a request for shifting my telephone lines to a new address(within a city - Delhi), to which we were informed that it would be done with 4 working days. Its almost 10 days and there has been no action taken on the same. I was amused to find out that like any other government organization, Airtel people were least bothered to inform us that process will take longer than the committed time. Till the time we didn't called them, they were least bothered about our request. Now Airtel is becoming worst telecom provider as we had two more lines of M TNL which was duly transfered in less than ten days. I would suggest if you are going in for a private player in telecommunication thinking you are going to get a better service we would recommend to think about it.

I am thinking of disconnecting all five lines and go for Tata or Reliance, at least one can carry it if they are just shifting their base within 5 KM.

Disconnection of Service [protected]

Dear Consumers

I and my entire family is subscriber was Air Tel subscriber for quite some time. I got my airtel converted to prepaid after using for more than 2 years approx. During my connection as post paid and prepaid I has submitted documents and duly verified by company officials.

After one year my cell was discontinued stating reasons that my documents are not proper. I once again submitted my documents after two days cell started working.

Once again my cell has been discontinued with the same reasons “My documents are not proper”. I once again submitted documents. More than 24 hrs have passed still not connected. When called help line they say more 24 hrs are required.

I am irritated with Airtel company for arbitrator disconnection my cell. It is simple harassment to customers especially pre paid ones. It is my challenge to Airtel if they are company of repute let them show what documents are wrong.

Company should have thought before completely disconnecting cell phone at least allow incoming call for sometime like BSNL land lines.

My sincere suggestion to airtel new customers please take acknowledgement of all letters/documents given to Airtel office so you are not harassed.

I have an airtel mobile with prepaid connection.
On 2nd of April I recharged it with all india 1rs STD scheme in order to activate 1 rs STD .
However my STD calls were still being charged at older tarrif and when i contacted cusomer care they told me that a scheme bol bol is already activated "I don't have an idea why it is activated "that's why new scheme is not effective.After deactivating that bol bol scheme they told me that my scheme will get effective within 24 hrs .
However even next day it was not activated.When I called cusomer care they said there was a technical problem it would get effective within 24 hrs.

For the PAST THREE DAYS I AM CALLING AIRTEL AND LISTENING that service will be activated within 24 HRS.

or maybe they are hoping i will stop trying because the amount is so negligible "which i guess i would after 3 -4 attempts"
Is AIRTEL SERVICE REALLY THAT BAD? . or I am getting some special treatment

The Airtel customer care is the worst which I have experienced so far. The line gets gets disconnected no. of times.If u have gud luck that day and you are able to connect somehow..you encounter inexperienced customer care executives who even do not how to spell e-mail address of customer care.

That's a pain and a sorry state of affair..

I hope this comment would help in improving the services ..

On 18-04-08 i recharged my mobile with Rs. 333. Only Rs.171 was credited to my account. On calling to the customer service i was told that the balance amount of Rs162 will be credited in 8 hours. This was not done and then on calling airtel i was told by your Senior Supervisor Mr. Arun, that this service is not available, Rs333 recharge is not available through the internet recharge. Again when i called Airtel i was told by your Senior Supervisor Mr. Dheeraj that the amount will be credited in 4 hours (complaint id [protected], 10:16am 19-04-08).

I just want to know how foolish do you think your customers are? Is arun giving me the right information? if not, then what assurance is there that when a customer calls airtel he/she is receiving the right information?

although i know this mail is one of the plenty mails you receive, i would still appreciate if this mail is replied. thank you

its the worst service provider i have ever come across in my entire life.From past 2 weels i m unable to make any calls .And if after trying for hours and hours the call gets connected it will get disconnected in few seconds with the amount deducted from your balance.Also the connectivity shows high & good on my phone inspite of that I am not able to get connected.When I try to call up customer care again it does not allow you or give you an option to talk to the representative.You can just browse to the 4th option or sometimes just keep selecting the language for ever.I even tried calling the other cell which was next to me & had a good connectivity it still shows error in connection for hours and hours.During an emergency this can prove fatal.I would advise everyone never go for airtel.Its very very annoying

I had subscribed for Airtel caller tunes and though the amount was deducted from my mobile balance, the caller tunes were not activated. I am a student and have a prepaid connection, hence my usage is limited and as your service is not satisfactory, I would request you to kindly credit back my caller tune charges. I am unable to get through to your customer service.

I expect the above action to be implemented at the earliest, failing which I may have to take up this matter with the higher authorities.

I recharged with Rs. 210 which is a validity one.. in that the was an hidden offer which has 1 Rs rental per day..

I sent message for deactivating it on 16th April and on 20 th I raised a complaint also... for that by that stupid 198 service...
its still not deactivated..

When i wanna talk to superior.. these CC people simply hang up the call..

Then what is the sense of CC people..

Airtel --- has Servers which will be also out of service .. this is the only answer CC people says...

Pathetic support center people who disconnects the call when they don’t find any answer and there is no survey response come when they disconnect the call by their own...

Only have limited information with corrupted database and always try to be adamant on that info... I have never seen such disgusting support anywhere except Airtel Bangalore.

Please Keep Some Good Educated People...

Validity for the no.[protected] is over on march 22nd, i missed the sim and i bought the new sim for the same no.
balance amount (around [protected] Rs) on the old sim is not transversed to new one...
i made many complients to customer care officer...since 15 days grace period is over after the validity date they are refusing to take the action for this compleint...
i am expecting the favour from ur side kindly take the proper action to solve this problem...
i am expecting the good reply form ur side...

i have not subscribed for any kind of services from airtel still i receive some service messages and suddenly my balance is cut by rs.50/- when i contact the customer care they tell me to call after 24 hours and when contacted again after 24 hours they tell u hoave downloaded something when actually the mobile was not used at all

I'm having the number [protected] since past 2.5 years. And on the same Airtel offered me GPRS Mobile Office at the rent of Rs 99 per month at the time of offering the connection. Everything worked well, but due to technical problem this service was not working properly on 19th March 2008. I complaint the same to customer care and they resetted the same service and i recieved the confirmation sms from Airtel that "MOBILE OFFICE IS ACTIVATED AND THE RENTAL FOR THE SAME IS Rs 99 PER MONTH, DOWNLOADING AND SURFING CHARGES ARE NIL"

but as per my current bill the service has been changed to Rs 499 per month from 24th March 2008, and they had charged Rs 935 in current bill. Also complained serveral times but now they say that this service is offered to me for Rs 499 only, also there would be no reversal to the charges. However all the shift managers comply to my words, because I had never asked to change this service to Rs 499. But i dont know why they are making fool of us.

I want to file a court case against Airtel, pls anyone state the procedure for the same.

i purchased a three months valid prepaid card worth of rs1100 on 7th april 2008.it is valid up to july 2008.
now iam at chennai on roaming.
iam not able to receive any in comming call from anywhere.but receive sms and send my outgoing calls.
several complaints made at both ends at bhopal (m.p)and tirunelveli(tamilnadu)yield no result so far.
iam facing surgery shortly.it gives me great mental agony.
the least botherd attitude of officials at both ends are condemnable

Worst exp had wit airtel network Provider, this was the first time...my gprs was active and which i had to deactivate..so i followed the steps needed to de activate it..for which i had talk wit the customer care excecutive. who said me tat ur request to da activate gprs is taken and will be prossesed in next 4hrs..Thinkin tat it will be done was relaxed..after three days when i luckly checked my balance found that its gone from almost 75rs to 0.75 paise, asking for the same to customer care again they said that they didnt receive any deactivation sms form me. so i enquired abt to find weather they they can get me to tat person to whom i had spoke wit a couple of days before, tat also they said they cant, so asked tat ur system must be havin some record's for the request tat too was denied...its really bad service from airtel, they have habit of deducting money for things which customer dont want and u cant expect them to return it back even after when u have geniun explanation for it.

My mobile no is [protected] on Prepaid servise.
I am using this connection for abt past 3 years... Now when I make a call for a local Reliance no : [protected] on 25th of April, 2008 on Time :9.24 am it have to get charged as .49 paise.. Instead of it get charged as Rs.9.20 ps / minute for which i gave a missed call for that no.. I make 2 missed calls for that no... Hence nearly of Rs.18.40 get deducted from my account At that time the call charges taken as Rs.9.20 ps/ min ... When i make a call to C.Care regarding this issue... they tell me that it charges as like that due to addition of 00 (double zero)in front of the no. It is a no which get stored on my mobile for the past 3 months... Ever before call charges had not get deducted as like this... I interact with Mr.Srinivasan on Customercare... The reference no for my interaction is [protected]... So it is not a problem on my mobile & Called no .. Its all of them are due to Network issues... I ask the C.C.Agent Mr.Srinivasan to register a complaint regarding this... But he refuses to do that & Hence i like to Register a complaint thr E-Mail... I also get the Customercare E-mail id thr Airtel C.Care Agent Mr.Prakash thr Call to Customercare .. His reference no on Customercare call is [protected] on 04/may/2008 on Time : 1.54pm on my mobile... Hence my Money Rs.18.20 ps have to get return back from my account... Other then I will send a E-mail to TRAI a copy for furthur actions... I think that you would not make me to so like this regarding this issue...
I am waiting for your process soon on this issue...

I am using Airtel service for last one year. I live in Pune and for last few months the network of Airtel is pathetic all around the city. Its useless and some times i have to think that in this age also Airtel cannot provide Network in a city like pune whereas all other mobile networks have much better coverage in the city. If I am calling a Airtel user the calls get connected after 3 or 4 attempts. I am highly disappointed with the network of airtel and will soon be shifting to some other provider.

I am not expecting any feedback on my complaint as this is become a habit of not entertaining complaints of the customers though we are the one paying the company for it services which I must admit are miserable.

I have a phone connection (pre-paid) from airtel & my no. is [protected]. We never enable VASSPACK service of airtel. They themselves enable it & detect Rs.50:00 per month for last one year. We make at least 50 calls to their customer care no. & talked to their executive for disabling this facility. We never use this service even for a single time. Every time they assured that they have disabled this service & next time onwards no money will be detected from our account but this detected money can not be refunded & they are very sorry for this detection. They always refuse to give us any complaint no.

After a very long & hot discussion with them finally they give us a complaint no "[protected]" on 30.04.2008. Since then we are always talking them for disabling this service again & again against above complaint no. This time they again detected the money from our account on 04.06.2008.

I think this is clear cut cheating case from airtel side.

I wanted a new mobile connection from Airtel as an add-on to my exiting connection, after a long discussion a sales manager agreed to offer it. Later a sales rep met me and collected all the related documents and handed over the sim or better to say a "problem card". the sim got operational after wait of 3 long days that too after repeated reminders and several calls to the customer services. Verification was done from Airtel and a copy of all documents was again given to the Airtel personnel. Now the story of all kind of harassment starts, I started receiving msgs that since the documents are not being submitted the services to the new connection will be withdrawn and finally it was. I went on contacting customer care executives, supervisors and even managers and each one just assured that the services will be resumed but didn't happened. I just fail to understand that why my connection was disconnected for the loss of documents in the Airtel office, since the sales team confirms of submitting them along with the payment very next day. Still the documents are untraceable, but even after assurance from customer service manager, nothing moved. The worst part from Airtel is that now I am being asked to keep suffering till they locate my documents or a new set of documents are submitted in the ofice. Today its been a 4th day since the services are withdrawn and I am suffering due to fake commitments from Airtel and their office mismanagement.

This is Pavan kumar. I am using the airtel number from five years.Recently i have got a call that there is a new plan called
" ZERO RENTAL PLAN" for the people who are using airtel from long time. They called me many times and i asked the person to visit me. He gave me a form and which i paid Rs 500 for that and the person named himself as SUMIT from airtel. He gave the receipt for Rs 500 which consists of AIRTEL logo on it and told me that the plan will be starting from the very next billing. I believed him and when i got my next bill i couldn't notice any such plan changes in my bill. So i called to 121 the airtel people who says that there is no such plan and they can't do any thing and told me to file an FIR for that. I don't understand how could such a big company make their customers get cheated. I am shocked that AIRTEL doesn't take any measures to avoid people doing fraud in the name of AIRTEL. So i tell all you people be careful about taking new plans. Please don't pay anyone unless in a customer care office

I have very bad experience with airtel twice, The not only provide the world's worst telecom services but their customer care is pathetic, you wont get thru any of the customer care officer on weekends also on weekdays you need to wait for long hours.
Pls do not go for any Airtel Services though they are cheap as compare to others.

I live on Palm Neach Rd, Navi Mumbai and the Airtel netwrok is really bad. I have found one room in the house where I get
network. They keep cutting about 10 to 15rs evey month for MCA service (missed call alerts). but I dont ever get MCA. I have tried switching my cell off, then calling my number from several
different landlines and friends mobiles etc, but I dont get a single MCA. So why am I being charged for it without fail every month. Where does the money go?

Everytime I call 121 with any of the numerous issues, the

Hello you nincompoops at AIRTEL! ARE YOU SLEEPING AT YOUR JOB? Does AIRTEL not have any quality monitoring or TLS or managers who are actually concerned about providing service?

I dont believe airtel can have such pathetic customer service.

Can the public sue the company? And whats with the celebrities
like Sachin and ShahRukh (I believe he endorses airtel too) and
others who promote the damn service? Somebody should tell them they are promoting services which are incompetent... maybe they dont know...

CELEBRITIES! KINDLY CHECK THE COMPETENCY OF SERVICES/PRODUCTS YOU ENDORSE.

I called Airtel thrice today... I am able to send smses to
Dubai numbers but when I try calling it comes invalid/. I called
customer service to tell airtel about the problem. thrice...
and all three times, the lady (3 different ones on 3 calls)
heard my verification, problems, puit me on hold for atlkeast 3
minutes each... then came back asked me stupid questions like
"since how long have you faced? I got pissed, and asked her why
she'd kept me on hold 3 minutes only to come back and ask me
such a silly questoin, then she said line is breaking and
disconnected.

I called 2nd time, same thing... 3rd time I lost
my patience, (ofcourse all 3 times I had to go through the
stupid IVR...) 3rd lady also put me on hold and then came back
to ask "how long|" . I asked her what she had been doing while I was on hold, she said she had been checking my "RECORDS". I lost my temper and asked her if she had been looking at my records when I was on hold, she should know how long I have been facing the problem as I had told it to the previous person/... hummed and hawed erred and ohhhhhed then said that the line was breaking and then promptly disconnected the line.

Thats it, I didnt call again. I feel so angry. Strict action should be taken against these companies... I am so angry, am just typing away and I need to stop assaulting my keyboard...

Hello you nincompoops at AIRTEL! ARE YOU SLEEPING AT YOUR JOB? Does AIRTEL not have any quality monitoring or TLS or managers who are actually concerned about providing service? It is hard to believe airtel can have such pathetic customer service. It is promoted by celebrities who are people of integrity, or so I'd like to believe. But does money make you promote just about anything that comes your way? And whats with the celebrities like Sachin and ShahRukh (I believe he endorses airtel too) and others who promote the damn service? Somebody should tell them they are promoting services which are incompetent... maybe they don't know...

CELEBRITIES! KINDLY CHECK THE COMPETENCY OF SERVICES/PRODUCTS YOU ENDORSE.

I called Airtel thrice today... I am able to send smses to Dubai numbers but when I try calling it comes invalid/. I called customer service to tell airtel about the problem. thrice... and all three times, the lady (3 different ones on 3 calls) heard my verification, problems, put me on hold for at least 3 minutes each... then came back asked me stupid questions like "since how long have you faced? I got pissed, and asked her why she'd kept me on hold 3 minutes only to come back and ask me such a silly question, then she said line is breaking and disconnected.

I called 2nd time, same thing... 3rd time I lost my patience, (of course all 3 times I had to go through the stupid IVR...) 3rd lady also put me on hold and then came back to ask "how long|" . I asked her what she had been doing while I was on hold, she said she had been checking my "RECORDS". I lost my temper and asked her if she had been looking at my records when I was on hold, she should know how long I have been facing the problem as I had told it to the previous person/... hummed and hawed erred and ohhhed then said that the line was breaking and then promptly disconnected the line.

Thats it, I didn't call again. I feel so angry. Strict action should be taken against these companies... I am so angry, am just typing away and I need to stop assaulting my keyboard...

ARGGGHHH!

Can the public sue the company?

My mobile no. is [protected] I have been using airtel GPRS service for last more than 3 years, whenever i send sms to airtel 121 for bad connectivity they replied by sms to wait for 24 hours/48 hours etc). Due to bad connectivity and bad response by airtel people, I have requested airtel (SMS TO121to deactivate my GPRS connection on 16.06.08. They have done it immediately. HOWEVER INSTEAD OF REFUNDING UNUSED AMOUNT for remaining period they have debited my account with Rs.250/- even after deactivating the GPRS (in case of continuation of services it would be debited next month.

I have shifted my residence and wanted my phone to be shifted.

1. I was told that there is no connection available there where they were giving new connections.
2. Took me a month and numerous calls to finally get it shifted.
3. Lots of false information all the time.
4. False commitment.

After this I asked for a wi-fi router, was told that I will get it next day.

1. I call next day and no complaint was there, I lodge one again.
2. I was again told about a 24 hour delivery, I wait at home and no one shows up.
3. Call them everyday multiple times for last 5 days, it takes almost 30 minutes and multiple tries to get to someone who can talk to you.
4. Every time I was told it will be done in next few hours. I was told someone would call me. nothing was done.
5. Talk to the supervisors and nothing has happened.
5. I am STILL WAITING.

Is there a place where I can go and follow-up ? This is so disgusting and something needs to be done. The consumers have been taken for a ride with pathetic service, false information and no care whatsoever.

have just bought a new prepaid Airtel connection (my complaint no: [protected]). I wanted to Deactivate the sms offer so call to airtel customer care on 18th june they toled that sir i forwarded, it will be deactivated on 24th june, after 24th june i call to airtel customer care ask about that sorry sir still it is not resolve ur complaint once again i forwarded it will be deactivated on 26th, onece again same story.. continueing again i call airtel custome care and spok one customer executive Lokesh, he toled me that same story once again im forwaded ur complaint it will be deactivated on 30th june if not deactivated u can spoke with my manager, again i called to customer care and i spok with santhosh.. again he is telling i forwarded ur complaint it will be deactivated on 1st july.. on this way u can see how the airtel customer care responding the people...

Moral of the story: Don't trust Airtel. Don't buy Airtel. If you can't afford Hutch, go without a phone. Hire a messenger to send your messages. Above all, don't call customer care and waste your time. Buy some other card. Even an out-of-state on roam SIM.
