- Originally submitted request on 12/15/2022 meeting all requirements (photos of front/back of tickets, ticket numbers, address where to send replacement tics, etc.
- After hearing nothing back, followed up on 3/28/2023 via email, their contact form
- Again, after hearing nothing back, contacted [protected], leaving all information including my name & contact information
- As of today (6/14/2023), still NOTHING!
Desired outcome: Simple - an apology, 6 replacement tickets and a couple extra tickets for the LONG wait and having to go above and beyond for the replacement tickets!
Experience
On 6/10/23 I drove 45 minutes away to visit this “dine in” theatre in Bridgewater Commons NJ because our favorite theatre at river side Hackensack was booked. The little mermaid was worth it, or so I thought. What started out as an exciting evening for my children, turned into a nightmare. Trash everywhere, the employee at the concession stand was so rude and texted on her phone as she took our order only to get it completely wrong. She was annoyed at any question I had, and as a first timer at this location I had many questions. No icee machine, no kids popcorn box, and no patience on her end. We get to our seats only to realize the seats didnt recline (fine we can work with that) but disgusting and dirty too? Now we get our food and the popcorn was so salty my children and I could not eat one bite, the order came out completely wrong and I had to get up multiple times to correct the issue. $100 worth of food btw! The pretzel bites were stale, and the food tasted like it had freezer burn. All inedible. Now I should have taken this as a sign to get up and just leave but no, my children wanted to watch the movie. The movie starts at around 6:20 after commercials and by 7:00 pm a woman in front of me proceeds to Harrass me about my 5 year old autistic son. See my son was scared during certain scenes and whispered to me that he was scared. This woman proceeds to turn around and tell me “you better shut your son up or you need to leave”. I tell her nicely to leave me alone. She then proceeds to harrass me for the next 20 minutes continuously turning around making comments. I then tell her to get a manager if she’s so bothered in which she gets up and shouts loudly “I will!” I follow behind her and a manager gets involved and rather than get both sides and diffuse the situation he yells at us both to “get out” in an aggressive tone. I told
Him I would happily leave but I would like to speak about a refund because we were only able to see half of the movie because of this rude customer in which his response was “ you’re not getting anything back” and once again told me to leave. I asked for his name in which he mumbled Clint or Clynn, I’m not 100% sure what he said. My experience from start to finish was not only horrible, it was the WORST experience I’ve EVER had in all my years of using Amc as my preferred movie destination. I was not only given poor service, I was HUMILIATED by this staff. I was the victim in this situation, I PAID to watch a movie with my children, and I was robbed of that experience because of a woman who felt like her experience should overpower that of my son. I’ve never been in a situation like this and rather than understand, they treated me like trash. After I spent $150 at this location, This is what I was left with. I am beyond disappointed.

My husband and 3 kids went to the 6pm movie of Spiderman on 6/6/23 at the Woodhaven 10 theater. We frequent the theater all the time and never experienced what they experienced last night. The movie theater was packed and out of control. There were kids and adults running amok up and down the aisles. At one point the security came in but it would not be controlled. It was an awful experience. People were on their phones, having full conversations through the whole movie. You could not grasp the movie at all. At one point a kid was jumping up and down in the aisle to go to the rest room and the parent completely ignored them. It was an obnoxious scene and the worst experience we have ever had there. I understand you cannot control who frequents the theater but there needs to be some respect for the regular patrons of it. You should also have "older" security to handle adults that are out of control. I am requesting either a full refund or tickets to compensate the miserable time they had. Last Sunday, I took my eight year old daughter to see the Little Mermaid remake, at the Wardparkway AMC, in Kansas City, Mo.
During the previews a couple were about awoke or sexual orientation.
That's not appropriate to be shown in childrens previews, just as the last Buzz Light year cartoon had a gay character in the film. Once again, not acceptable for little ones.
I would like to see those types of previews removed from Children movies.
I have no problem with what adults do, I just want the little ones to enjoy being that..

I arrived at the AMC Marketfair 10 in Princeton, NJ on May 26, 2023 around 6:pm with my grandson who's movie time was 6:30. AMC employee Basan denied my grandson whom I had purchased an e-ticket for in advance entrance into the movie theater stating that he wasn't allowed in because his movie didn't start seating customers until 6:15 for the 6:30 showing for little mermaid. With my grandson being denied entry to the movie theater before 6:15 he was also denied using the men's room and purchasing food, snacks, drinks etc. from the concession stand. Even if the lie Basan refered to was true and it wasn't where on the app or website does AMC refer you to a seating time different from the start time of the movie my grandson could have gone to the men's room and gotten in line to get snacks and been in compliance with the alleged seating time, again my grandson had an e-ticket purchased in advance. Also their was another AMC employee there saying that my grandson could come in. Basan wouldn't allow him in and when I began questioning Basan about this outrageously ridiculous seating time claim he threatened me saying you better shut up. So I called the police and filed a complaint against him and called my lawyer who advised me to make a civil complaint.

I recently went to AMC movie theater in Morrisville NC. .
This movie theater was the most disgusting theater I ever have been in ever.
The seats look like they haven't been cleaned in a year. I had to get wipes from the attendant to clean them , honestly I should of left and got my money back. We had 4 people everyone very disappointed , but the movie was good.
Desired outcome: I would like a refund, plus theater needs to be checked up on and cleaned throughly.
Paid for 3d movie but they cancelled it without warning and showed regular
Purchased 3 advanced tickets to a 3d movie. Arrived and got drinks and glasses, went to theatre. About 30 minutes into movie we were wondering why it didn’t look 3d so I asked and was told it was cancelled due to a shortage of glasses (?). I asked about a refund and was told “only if you leave immediately”. How could I do that to a 9 year old?! Horrible business!
Desired outcome: At least an apology and partial refund for the difference in price, and maybe an explanation why I wasn’t told this when I picked up my tickets.
Trapezoid popcorn bucket redesign
In my local East Brunswick, NJ theater they have replaced the sturdy round large popcorn bucket with a flimsy origami trapezoid disaster. THE. WORST. DESIGN DECISION. EVER. Nevermind there’s actually less volume, the damn thing cannot stand upright when placed between the two armrests of their recliner seats. and yes, still pissed about jess popcorn as well. it’s 10c worth of kernels that’s being resold for twelve dollars. this was trialed months ago, e erik e complained, they brought back the real bucket (and real plastic straws!) and today, sadly the trapezoid design is back. Literally cancelling my A-List membership and going to another theater. Not worth being disappointed every week.

Walked in and ordered my snacks on a kios...asked service for help to order a Mario Tin large popcorn since kios didn't list the option. Service help said "I think we are all out, they sold out"...I looked behind the snack stand and there were 3 Mario Large Popcorn Tins sitting there. I asked can I purchase one, service said "No, someone already ordered these online"...

What a shame at what has become of our local AMC Theaters here in Manteca. I was there with family Sunday 4/9/23. It can only be described, simply as a pigsty. The food was being prepared in pure filth. The soda machines were broken and the ones that worked were out of soda. The bathrooms were just gross. Also, would not provide extra bags/boxes to share popcorn. And the employees had bad attitudes with the General Manager leading the pack. She could care less when these issues were brought to her attention. Buyers Beware! Wait for the movie to come out on your favorite streaming service!

Seating and quality of film
I ordered the tickets online at a AMC classic theater without knowing they dont have the reclinable seats. I traveled 1 hour to this location to find out it was regular seats and the quality of the film wasnt to my satisfaction. I took my 2 boys for his birthday and they were not happy.
I wish there was some kind of compensation we can get for the unsatisfactory experience we had.
I would not ever come back to this location.
Desired outcome: Get compensated with a refun for 4 tickets I purchased.
Customer treatment
I visited the AMC in Greenville Tennessee on 4/7/2023 at 3:15 for Super Mario Bros and at the beginning of the movie a member of your management approached me at my seat to accuse me of vaping In the theater. I assured him I had not. 29 min later he again comes to me with a threat that if I do it again he would throw me out. He went out and into his office where I in fact went directly to him to find out what his problem was. He immediately offers me a refund and apologizes and he had not heard what I had to say yet. Tells me right there that he was wrong and unjust in his demeanor. I told him I was outraged at his accusation and he then tells me it was recorded and he saw video. Now when I asked my legal right to see the video it mysteriously was not available. I'm more than upset over the situation and I definitely want to be contacted by someone so we can discuss future proceedings to my public and emotional humiliation. This is not how you treat your customers especially with the huge decline in theater profits.

Staff attitude and overall service
I went to the AMC Roosevelt Field theater in Garden City, NY at the Roosevelt Field Mall on April 7, 2023 and tried to use my AMC re-admit passes for a show. I spoke to the cashier who was very nice and she tried to use the tickets but they weren't working as the expiration date had expired. She called for a Manager (Mike) who looked and said I couldn't use the tickets as they had expired. I told him that all previous Managers had told me that although these tickets had an expiration date, they do not expire, and they would always be honored. He said that that was then this is now and that tickets expire after another 2 years. These tickets had an expiration date of Sep 2019 and he said these tickets were "now expired" and he couldn't do anything about it. I said " If I have 2 years to use it and Covid was in March/April 2020, and lasted 1 1/2 years then wouldn't that be applicable? He then mumbled something and I asked him what he said and he loudly declared, " I said, I don't appreciate this back and forth. I said I can't do anything and that's that because I am a Manager." I said that how were we supposed to have a conversation if there was no back and forth? He replied, " I said I am not going to do anything for you and I am a Manager". At this point, the conversation was not even 4 minutes in duration, but he was obviously not interested in helping me or spending any time with me, so I left. At no point was I loud or unreasonable, he did not want to listen or help from the get go. I have never been in a hurry to use these tickets because I have always been told that they do not expire and have purchased tickets instead, but I remembered to bring the tickets this time and encounter a truly unprofessional employee who ironically is a Manager. I have been a loyal customer for decades and have slowly been coming back to your theaters since Covid even though I was reluctant in the beginning, but employees like this do not make me want to come back.

Tickets purched for His Only Son
My name is Lena Lewis, I live in Atlanta GA. I am submitting a complaint against AMC Theater on Princeton Lakes Atl. Ga. I purchased 5 tickets on Atom ticket sells to see His Only Son Mar.31, at 3:40 . When my friends and I arrived at the theater we were told, they didn't sale enough tickets to air the movie. So I asked for a refund of my 70.87. So the ticket sales person got me a Manger and he said he can give me a gift card for 40.00. I told him I wanted all my money put back on my card. After 2 hours of waiting and going back and forth with these 15 or 16 years old , I asked for the person over the whole theater.
