FedEx Delivery problems

Several times we have been notified that our fedex shipment is on the truck out for delivery only for the package never to be delivered that day.

If this was a rare occurrence I'd be more forgiving.

Today, Sept 20, 2022, it happened — again. This was a VERY important shipment and FedEx dropped the ball.

Many Fedex drivers are contracted and are not necessarily FedEx employees. This is especially true in our area. Our deliveries are often the end of the day due to us being on the end of a route. Many times the contracted driver decides they don't want to drive out to our location and return the package — often saying it was undeliverable when we were home waiting for it.

We've also had our deliveries delivered to the wrong address.

When something is being shipped overnight or two day delivery it is often very important. FedEx has lost sight of that part of the contract.

We have been told by other FedEx drivers that this is a bad problem with contract drivers who don't want to finish their routes and unfortunately the managers are unwilling to take action against these drivers.

When ever we have the opportunity to choose a shipping option, we NEVER choose FedEx because it is a gamble as to if the package will be delivered or not on schedule

The FedEx phone tree is impossible with no after hours operator help.

FedEx home delivery is horrible . Of my last four deliveries two were left at the wrong address, one was three days late and the fourth one the driver claimed it was undeliverable. The fact was he lost his gate card and failed to call to have me open the gate. I finally drove 60 miles to the FedEx terminal to pick up the package. When I complained to manager he said the Home Delivery drivers are all contract and he has no control over them. He added he would like to be able to fire all their [censored].

FedEx Late delivery with lying about attempted delivery

Fedex has sent my shipment out on a truck for 6 days. Each day there are different problems that cause them to delay until the next day. The most infuriating are when they lie about 'attempting delivery'. My wife and I are retired and are home on these days.

Oh if companies would just stick to UPS. No problems there - ever. No lies. No 5 day delays. FEDEX is awful. A blight on the consumer!

Desired outcome: FEDEX goes bankrupt, leaving competent delivery services like UPS as the only option for the folks buying delivery services. That way, those of us receiving deliveries could not be predated upon by FEDEX.

My returned to Tory Burch package #277474952137was picked up on Sept 01 2022 from My NY building 125 West 22nd Street NY NY 10011

I can not locate this package and my returned dress value was $450.00

I need help to find out who was driver and where is the package?

FedEx My package I sent

72 hours later the package I sent you that you said you were sending back to me I was to allow 24 hrs has not arrived y is it not in my hands yet I expect you have insurance for it I got all my proof I need for this complaint I didnt want to lose that I worked my tail off getting all them little items separated I did it all by hand so im a little pissed! Let me know what you wanna do?

FedEx Delivered to address that I entered incorrectly and is not retrieving it

I have made numerous "claims" about this. The package got delivered to the wrong address- 2920 W 26th ave apt 417. I have told them the correct address and get text messages from a robot and no resolution.

I would go to the apartment where it has been dellivered to but it is a bad part of town.

FedEx Home delivery

When using Home delivery, drivers religiously claim to deliver packages they did not, throw the boxes out at the road, and sometimes put the items in my or a neighbor’s mailbox rather than bring the packages to my home.

When reported to the local office multiple times they stated they have no control over this because FedEx Home Delivery uses 3rd party vendors so they are not FedEx employees. They tell me to just contact the shipper for a replacement. When I called the 800# they would simply send me back over to the local office.

On May 27, 2022 I started using the automated system to get a case # for every missing package instead of getting blown off by the humans. 3.5mo and multiple missing packages later, they now put the package on the porch and take a photo. Have only had 1 package go missing since they started taking photos and it was just a photo out at the road with no package shown.

Be persistent and report every missing package to the FedEx automated system. Do NOT trust getting a case # from the human at your local FedEx office because it will go no further than that person.

Good luck this coming holiday season (start ordering your stuff now so you’re done by November!)

Desired outcome: I’d like Fedex to bring delivery back in house instead of farming it out to third-party vendors

FedEx Possible destruction of mailbox and package of perishable food left in sun on my driveway one acre from my house

Destruction of alert flag on my mailbox occurred Wednesday. Flag broken off my mailbox and left on ground. Today Friday 09/16/2022 we found our box of HomeChef meals left sitting in the sun on the edge of the drive. This is one acre from my house. I have repeatedly asked deliveries please be delivered by my door. I have a horseshoe shaped driveway which allows anyone to drive in close to my front door and drive right out. I am a retired 1st responder and I just want decent service and my property undamaged.

Desired outcome: Delivery to my front porch and my property left undamaged. Regardless if something is not to a driver’s political taste it isn’t permissible to destroy it. It fact it’s illegal to damage the mailbox. It is against Federal law.

Please make sure to report this on the automated FedEx system to get a case # ((this will get action from FedEx) and not just a report to the local office (they will do nothing, even if they give you a case #)

I too have a long driveway and easy access to/from the road but they religiously threw things out at the road and with construction of almost 900 homes going in across the street there’s people in/out all day. The last straws for me were a large Chewy package (crate and other expensive things) that went missing and my clearly marked “perishable” diabetes meds left in the sun by the road.

I don’t know if these 3rd party vendors that FedEx uses have some type of extreme time frame for deliveries or if they’re just trying to do the bare minimum to get off work early but reporting every issue to the automated system will get results after multiple issues.

FedEx Manager Rude and Hanging up on me

I need a manager or regional manager to contact me. We have been trying to locate a package that was due for delivery yesterday…. It is a bus part that we have been on the waiting list for 2 months for.

I keep getting different answers……and we printed off where the website said it was….it sat in a station for 3 days…was supposed to get here yesterday. We rented a garage for today for $500 so we could get this part in our bus today.

I got a hold of a supervisor….he was very rude….kept talking over me and would not answer a straight question…..he said the part is in Salt Lake City…that is NOT what the recording or the tracking website said. We talked over each other for a minute because I want a straight answer and told him just to do his job and open a ticket instead of arguing with me over everything…and HE HUNG UP ON ME.

He said he doubted the part would get here today. The part was shipped on 9/9/23…….the website said it was in Wyoming on 9/11……last night the recording said it wouldn’t be here until today.

So no one can tell me where the part is….not only are we out the $500 dollars for the garage today, but we have no idea where the part is!

If Fed Ex had lost our part, our attorney will be billing you for not only the garage fee we lost but for any and all charter business we had to turn down waiting for another part. Which could be in the thousands….

FedEx Bad Driver

Your DRIVER needs to stop driving on driveways in our Hobe Sound FL gated community. Amazon and UPS drivers do not do this so why does this guy. He may be black or haitian with dreadlocks and he always has music blaring. I complained yesterday to the Palm City distribution office, but again, this person did again as you can see in the video and then did it again on the corner houses driveway. Yesterday there was no rain and the package was very small.

This driver needs to be spoken to!

Desired outcome: I WANT YOUR DRIVER TO STOP. OTHER DRIVERS HAVE NOT IN THE PAST.

STILL happening. This was yesterday. Most likely did not pull on my driveway because of truck. You can see the driver pretty good though.

Adding 2 more photos ... you need to do something. Start caring for consumers! Truck in driveway which is most likely why he did not drive on it.

FedEx Fedx Delivery Manager

Left special instructions in my Fedx Delivery Manager acct. which Drivers are not following. To ring my outside doorbell Apt. 1A and knock on door. None of my deliveries which was two deliveries under tracking # [protected], one on 09/10/22 and the other on 09/14/22. The delivery scheduled for 09/10/22, I received an email it was delayed and would come on 09/12/22. I had to call GA foods and they ordered another delivery because the food would defrost by 09/12/22 and you can't put it in the freezer to eat days later once defrosted as per GA Foods instructions because the food would spoil. GA Foods sends you food to last for a week or more so you have to keep it frozen. I later received an update that the package would arrive on time but the delivery instructions wasn't followed. Also, if the drivers don't follow the delivery instructions to ring door bell/know on door, I won't know that the package is outside my door and will just sit there without me knowing.

I also filed a complaint with Fedx (#[protected]) on 09/10/22 in regards to delivery instructions in delivery manager not being followed and noted in complaint future food deliveries would come. When they redelivered tracking # [protected] on 09/14/22 the package was damaged and again delivery instructions wasn't followed.

Just need to update complaint. For tracking # [protected] the email I received from Fedx on 09/10/22 that package was delayed, I typed the wrong date in the complaint. The email informed me, the package would arrive on 09/11/22 not 09/12/22. That's why I had to call GA Foods to inform them my package was delayed. If the package arrived on 09/11/22 the Food would have been defrosted and couldn't be put in the freezer.

FedEx Delivery

I'm at 10625 Major Ave Chicago Ridge, Illinois.

This is a on going problem with federal express drivers.

This is a apartment building. Driver leaves boxes in front of door in lobby. This door leads to the tenants apartments. Tenants cannot get out of the building using front entrance. Cannot open the door because federal express leaves the boxes in front of door. Tenants has to use the back entrance, to go to front entrance to move box blocking door. This is also against fire department regulations. Door cannot be blocked so tenants can get out in case of fire.

Desired outcome: Lobby is big. Do not leave packages in front of door, so tenants can get out. Use common sense.

FedEx Total loss / damage of computer

On 09/08/2022, I shipped my laptop via FEDEX from the location of Office Depot located at 121 Willow Lane in McDonough, Georgia.

My company received the laptop on 09/10/22. They emailed me with photos of my laptop along with the horrible damage. A FEDEX employee purposely removed the laptop from the packaging, removed parts from the laptop, took the henge off the laptop as well as wires removed from the back of it. All of this damage has caused my device to be totally inoperable or repairable.

The FEDEX packaging was totally destroyed as well. It was ripped open like an animal! As the photos will show the excessive damage to the laptop and the outside packaging. Whomever did this has no regard for the property of others.

I called FEDEX immediately to report this matter.

The entire laptop is destroyed, irreparable and worthless. The tracking number is 5779. Photos attached.

Desired outcome: Full reimbursement for the purchase of a new laptop ($1200.00) Security level software ($200.00) and Windows 11 ($110.00) both purchased separately and installed at a separate cost. Unable to work due to the loss of my laptop.

FedEx Stolen package

My business sent valuable antiques to a customer who was going to display them in an English castle. They were shipped in an 8 foot long wooden crate. It arrived in the UK and was awaiting customs clearance, however, FedEx never even presented it to customs. They claimed it was prohibited and would be returned to me, but that is not true because I have imported and exported this same type of item many times and I have confirmed that there are no laws prohibiting them. Then they said it was prohibited by FedEx, however, that was not true either because the items in the shipment had originally been shipped to me by FedEx internationally. Then the package disappeared entirely. How do you lose an 8 foot long wooden crate that is in a locked and secured cage that only FedEx and UK Customs has access to? Obviously you don't, so that means there is no question that FedEx stole it. It is the third high value package that FedEx has stolen from my business and they don't do anything about it. FedEx is a criminal organization and needs to be investigated and prosecuted

Desired outcome: I need to have these rare and valuable 400+ year-old antiques recovered and delivered to the purchaser or safely returned to me.

FedEx FedEx Drivers

Please inform your drivers who service Tryon Road in Utica, NY not to use customer's driveways to turn around. The FedEx vehicles are too heavy for asphalt driveways and when the FedEx drivers use a driveway to turn their vehicles, they gouge-up the customer's driveway. Tryon Road is a Dead-End street and only two short blocks long. At the end of Tryon is a large Turn-Around for snow plows, so there's absolutely no reason for a FedEx driver to use a customer's driveway.

PATHETIC company! An embarrassment to a USA born organization with zero accountability.

PACAKAGE STILL MIA, AND NOTHING FROM FED EX. CALL THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND YOU CANT UNDERSTAND ANYTHING THEY SAY SINCE IT IS OUTSOURCING TO ANOTHER THIRD WORLD COUNTRY.

FedEx Lying about attempted delivery

I had been tracking a package for delivery on 10 Sept 2022, Saturday. I received notice that a delivery was attempted at 3:08 pm. I was sitting next to my door at that time and no delivery attempt was made. Additionally, no delivery attempt slip was left at my door or mailbox. I called customer service and demanded that package be left at my door even if I am not home. This appears to be an ongoing problem. GPS should be tracking each "delivery" attempt.

Desired outcome: Refund for the expedited delivery I paid to receive by 10 Sept, Saturday.

FedEx Driver cannot follow instructions TO PUT INSIDE GATE

I have called you 4 tiimes/written one letter and several emails now about a continuing I am having & I want it CORRECTED. I even asked the last 2 calls to have the Boss in Fresno to call me - they said he would but NO CALL returned.

I am a handicapped 78 year old Lady - my gate is 1/4 mile from the house. I ask all packages be left inside my gate - UPS NEVER FAILS ME - but no matter how many times I ask this of you THE PACKAGE IS LEFT JUST OUTSIDE THE GATE In full view to be ripped off. The last time from the same sender - my neighbor stopped a guy in the act of picking up the packages worth $300.00 so

I got lucky. Do your drivers not understand " WHAT PUT INSIDE THE GATE MEANDS?" Very simple instead of dropping it at the locked gate - all they have do it put it over the gate very simple to understand!

The last delivery from this same vendor - she called me to say it would be delivered that day - I HAD THE GATE WIDE OPEN SO THE DRIVER COULD DRIVE IN BUT NO HE LEFT IT SIT OUT FRONT AND THAT IS WHEN MY NEIGHBOR STOPPED THE MAN FROM PICKING UP THE 2 BOXES. What is wrong that they cannot follow instruction or are too LAZY TO DRIVE UP AND DELIVER - after all isn't that their job?

FedEx Service I'm Complaining about-Delivery

This is the most Basic Service there is and its what Fed Ex is Supposed to do! So why can't people in Phoenix, AZ get them to do it? Well lets start with them selling out their customer service to India making filing an actual complaint a joke. And I'm not being racist, they don't understand because they Live In India! They Speak whatever number of languages they have there, they live according to their Values and Norms, which they should! But it makes it impossible to get anything done just like it would if I were sitting in my Apt. in Phoenix trying to deal with their companies and their delivery service. So how did something so Basic to Business get so lost on the American Business?

Desired outcome: I would like to be able to order my OTC Medical Supplies with some security that they will actually be delivered to me, undamaged.

FedEx Delivery

I ordered a package and waited for days for it to arrive. I live in an apartment and receive packages daily because I run a small business from home. The driver decided NOT to leave my package which required no signature and took back to the facility which is 47 miles away from me. I called customer service and although apologetic, it does not make things better. The explanation was that I live in an apartment and the package could not be left. Well, I literally had a package delivered 2 days prior from Fed X and it was left on my doorstep. Fed X runs a business and so do I! I expect things to be delivered when said as do my customers. Package should not have been returned and I blame the driver. I will go out of my way to only receive packages via USPS or UPS. Afterall, never had an issue with either of them, just Fed X.

FedEx Insurance settlement

I shipped a bronze statue to a customer and somewhere along the line Fedex completely destroyed both the box and statue as well as the marble base but still delivered it. This was my first claim to FedEx I sent FedEx all the required photos showing the deplorable condition of the box & damaged statue and added a copy of the Etsy invoice showing what the buyer paid but I only received a settlement check for $148.49 because I forgot to mark the box that asks how much the item is worth. Why did FedEx not contact me asking for this info or at least why did a prompt not come up telling me that this field is required like they did with other fields I almost forgot to fill?

Because the statue is valued at $895 I insured it for that amount and like an honest merchant, I immediately refunded the entire amount of $895 plus tax to the customer but I am saddened and furious that a large, rich company like FedEx can get away with cheating a struggling woman owned company like mine of her rightful settlement. The person at customer service number was of no help at all.

Desired outcome: Please refund the correct insured amount of $895.00 plus 48.49 shipping I paid plus an apology.
