pharmacist aid
Yes me my wife mom and dad each get out scripts from the pharmacy at kroger on starlight in Owensboro kentucky and there is a cashier slash pharmacy aid named stacey that is very hateful rude and mean she never smiles and treats us and everyone else like trash. We all will continue to complain until shes gone or put where she cant deal with public its obvious shes on drugs and thinks she dont haft work like shes rich and shes just not gonna do nothing but make customers go else where.
handicap access
For store with terrible customer service already, the store at 3612 N. Beltline has outdone themselves. They have closed the entrance next to the Handicap parking to add a online pickup service. This requires your handicapped customers to walk the length of the store, with no sidewalk, in order to enter the store. This seems to be a short sighted decision considering there is a Safeway store across the street that offers much more accessible access.
Manager on duty
Had a discrepancy on my receipt. On monday, july 16th around 6pm. Tried to work it out with the manager on duty. Scott (atlanta, georgia?)
I purchased 6 of the chicken milanese (cold) from the deli at 0.99/each, but rang up as $23.60 for 6.
I used my fresh perks card. I used my foodshare card as well.
I have been able to purchase them (cold) before with the foodshare card, as with any other cold prepared food from the deli. But if thats not the case anymore, i understand.
My issue was with the way Scott, the manager on duty I believe, and the way he handled it.
He quickly got agitated, and tossed my receipt at me when I tried to explain what it does and does not cover, and that I bought the item recently this way no problem.
It eventually got handled by (Jullia?) I believe her name was. Ive never had a problem with anyone else at this store ever, theyre all great, I just dont think Scott handled that situation well at all. He would be a reason for me not to shop there anymore.
I mentioned I used to do his job for some years prior, so that I could relate with him that I understand the pricing issue wasnt his fault. His response, "Want the job back?!"
Im not one to send complaints, but his attitude and demeanor shouldnt be acceptable. Not sure how they do things in Georgia, but Monroe should be better than that.
Manager on duty*
This was the Monroe, Wisconsin location if I have not already made that clear
unethical behavior by employee!
Went to Kroger`s in Springboro, Ohio and sent 15 dollars to a family friend, not realizing it i sent it in her middle name, Nicole Hill, but her id says Kimberly N Hill, so i go back to Kroger`s to fix my mistake, the lady working starts asking me all these questions, do you know her, how?I said that is non of your business, she then got very loud and ruder, said it was her business..I did not say anything else but i will be contacting management, she then fix my mistake and handed me the paper! There has to be laws against this kind of questioning..been going to Kroger`s all my life, 55 years, never thought i see the day id be treated like scum...Think i might just file a complaint with the BBB too!
refused to return defective tracfone
First of all have been shopping at this store loyally since it opened and I worked at kroger for 15 years! I have never been treated like this before I am seeking a refund of $39.99+ tax=43.29. I mean you sell a defective product, you take care of your customer and return it to the vendor. On 7-4-18 my husband and I bought a phone for my birthday and it didn't work so we took it back the next day (7-5-18) my husband went in to get a refund and your stacy told him they don't refund for phone and yes he asked for a manager and so called manager named yesinia mendes came to counter and said that no refund for phone. When we bought the phone he asked the girl that sold it to him (aime) could it be return if something wrong with it, she said yes (I was standing right there and heard it myself) my husband came back to the car said the manager (yesenia mendes) would not refund it so we walked back in stacy called the manager 4 times and she never came. We were there for 45 min to hour* (while we were standing there waiting another gentleman came to counter and asked to get new kroger card to replace his worn out card and he wanted to transfer his points over to new card so stacy told him that he had to do that online, he said that he couldn't do that and stacy and another employee again told him that he had to do that online... He just left mad and frustrated... I know that the customer service personnel can do that because they have done it for me before... Also while standing there waiting we noticed 3 opened boxes of the same phone sitting on the counter, probably returned defective like this one! I just pointing out the inferior service attitudes that are in this store) so my husband said that he was going to leave the phone there and take a picture of it sitting on the counter so he would have proof that he let it there for when he disputes the purchase on the credit card and stacy threatened to call the police and sue him for taking the picture... Really! So, I look up she (yesinia mendes) was hiding behind a display so I walk over to her and ask if I could talk to her and she said I told the guy u r with no refunds have a good day - I try to tell her when we got the phone they said we could being it back and she look at me and said no refund have a good day - I told her is this the way she does her customers and she said again have a good day and I said she was a [censored] for not coming over to talk to me like a manager should, never have I ever been treated this way - this store has gone down since she has been there I have seen her jump all over her employees in the store when she could be heard for isles away - I spend over 100.00 to 150.00 a week and I will never go back to that store.in fact over the past couple of months I have had to go to tom thumb because this kroger is more often out of things and frankly the attitudes and service here are getting too bad. I worked for kroger for 15 years and I know that this is not the kroger way!
employee
Today my sister and I returned some items about an hour after purchasing because my sister got the wrong things on my mothers list and it was very expensive so my mom wanted to return what was wrong and buy what she wanted. from the start the employee Angel was very rude and acted like she couldn't do the return with a receipt and it being brought back within an hour, her manager walked away and when this happened she gave me a dirty look and said you understand that these cold items have to be thrown away don't you and huffed like we were horrible people. I told her i understood but it was a lot of money and my mother wants to get the correct items. she kept rolling her eyes and asked her manager to take over because apparently we were too hard to deal with. we come in kroger every week and spend tons of money so now we are driving to a new kroger where you actually get customer service. when we left she scowled at us and sighed like thank goodness we left. worst customer service ever, i personally work in customer service and it wasn't until i mentioned this that Angel would even do the return.
self checkout — front in cashier — refused to call the manager to ok a $19 ck. when I left driver's license at home.

Kroger self checkout front end help.
Middle aged white women--Vickie
Spring Tx.-77389
Store# [protected]
Wrote a $19.89 check in the self checkout when I remembered I had forgotten my Drivers license, Miss in charge Vickie refused to take my check . When I asked if she could get a managers approval she refused to call anyone and said she could not except a check with no Drivers licence. Store policy period. ?
I told her I would run home to get it. When I returned about 8-10 minites later my cart was gone with my bagged items, -- she ignored my presents and continued to be chating with someone.
I asked another clerk about my cart and he said he knew my milk had been put back, was'nt sure about the rest of the items.
I went up the the front and asked for a manager to be paged.
Cody the asst. manager came---very nice young man, listened to my complant and said if he was called he would have ok a check for under $20---thank you.
Well I pointed out the blonde ponytailed middle aged white women who refused to call for a manager, --- so we both walked up to her and Cody began asking her about the matter.
Miss Vickie very matter of factly contintued to hold her ground and was telling Cody that he was wrong and it was just not done like that at Krogers .
Once again she said against store policy.
I spoke up and said just how rude and unfriendly she was, and how their customer service was nonexistence.
I have been shopping at this store for the last 4-5 yrs. and this is not the first complant that I've had.
It's always been with the front end women and the customer service department when there is a problem.
It's these middle aged older hateful front end women kroger has running the show and they do just as they please, depending on the mood their in.
Miss Sue is also someone who needs to not be in the customer service dept.
She too has had many complaints brought up against her too.
The way I see it ----is it really wroth losing a customer over a $19 check because Miss Vickie refused to call for an OK.-- Really, how does that help Krogers ?
If I was writing a $50 check or more I would understand better her attitude, but not a little amount of $19- an aproval is all that was needed to keep everyone happy.
Please help.

pharmacy assistant manager/store manager
Trying to fill a prescription and use a coupon that was mailed directly to me in my name. The assistant manager claimed that the prescription I was trying to fill was not a transferred prescription. When I told her I was plainly looking at the bottle with the prescription number and refill quantity of (1) she got mad and hung up on me.
When I call and spoke to a Cindy the store manager she did nothing to resolve the issue. Okay so if they want to claim that the prescription is not a transfer so be it. However the store manager could have at least apologized for the pharmist behavior. Cindy's way of resolving it was to tell me I could come in tomorrow and speak to the pharmacy manager.
This is terrible customer service. I have been so happy with this Kroger up until now and wouldn't shop anywhere else. I will now take my business to the new HEB. I just hope Kroger corrects this behavior at this store as this is a terrible way to treat customers.
rude employee
While shopping at Krogers located at 1009 West Main in Russellville Ar., I had unfortunately got in the checkout lane of a very rude employee. She seemed to be bothered and very agitated when the customer in front of me told her she also had items under her cart like sodas and water, is that not what the customer is supposed do?Her demeanor and the why she spoke to the customer was horrible, the employee truly acted as if she didnt want to be at work or dealing with the public. And her behaviour continued as she checked me out as well, very condesending not friendly at all, to make matters even worse I believe she is in a management position.I have shopped at this store for over 10 years and have always be treated well by friendly and helpful employees. The employees name is Judy, maybe she should have stayed at home today. No customer deserves to be treated like this, she even made body movements, antics to let us know she was frustrated with us.
treating customers badly should not be acceptable
No customer should be treated the way the Kroger employee treated us today.Judy is a memember of the management team at Krogers located in Russellville Ar 1009 West Main and should know better, we all have bad days but its not ok to treat customers bad because you are mad upset or just having a bad day.
unprofessional cashier
On 7/12/18 at 745 pm I was standing in isle #6 waiting to check out. There was a couple in front of me trying to use a WIC card but did not understand how as to the language barrier. This male kept asking questions to better understand what is covered with the benefit card and the cashier was very rude and curt and impatient with the customer. I witnessed the cashier slam items onto the conveyor belt angry because she had to re-scan items to help the gentleman understand which items were not covered. I heard the cashier speak loudly at the customer in a way that was clearly causing the customer to feel embarrased. Mysrlf I was embarrased for the customer. When it was my turn I politley asked the cashier to slow down and calm down as she had started out her greeting with me in a rough voice still frustrated. I also asked her to please not slam my things the way she did the customer in front of me. After I paid I mentioned the incident to Sandy the on shift Manager and followed up with this complaint. The cashier name is Trina I am at Kroger located at 1555 Wayne Ave. Dayton, Ohio. The store phone # [protected]. The time on my reciept is 7:50 pm [protected]. I can be reached by cell phone at [protected] my name is Krystal Smith. Thank you in advance for your attention to this matter.
pepsi 18 pack
The last few times I have purchased the reg. pepsi 18 pack the tops have been all bent up and crumbled like the product had been dropped. The first 18 pack was over half like that, this pack when I opened it has some in it as well. To me it is to expensive to get a carton and then over half of them are no good not to mention the others were flat. We are a huge pepsi customer and get a 18 to 24 pack every night.

Coupon not being honored - false advertisement
I downloaded the the digital coupon for June 22 - 23rd ONLY use up to 5 times in a single transaction on $0.99 Kroger Cheese when you buy One (1) Kroger Bar or Shredded Cheese ANY VARIETY (6-8 oz).
I bought three mild shredded Kroger cheese and 2 Kroger parmesan shredded cheese all 6-8 oz on June 22, 2018. I saw that the Kroger shredded parmesan cheese ($2.59) was not honored went back into store and talk to management and they said Kroger Parmesan Cheese was the only cheese EXCLUDED from using the coupon (see photo) . I showed the printout which stated ANY VARIETY and the store still wouldn't honor the coupon. (see photo)
I disagree with the store, the paper clearly states Kroger Shredded Cheese any variety.
I would like an explanation as to why the coupon was not honored on the Kroger Shredded Parmesan cheese.
I consider this false advertisement on Kroger's part.
packaged bowl salad kit
You have replaced Bistro salad bowls with your own brand. If you're going to do so attempt to be as good as Bistro. Ex. Cranberry Walnut salad: add arugula lettuce (your lettuce tastes bland), use a better raspberry vinaigrette (yours tastes like raspberry syrup), more craisins would be nice. Ex. Apple Walnut salad: add arugula lettuce, more apple pieces, use better vinegarette dressing. If you don't want to use these suggestions, then please carry Bistro and other brands of salad kits in a bowl.
Sincerely,
Rose Sobel
middletown kroger pharmacy
I took a perscription from a local Urologist to be filled. After waiting for two hours, I was informed that my Doctor had wrote the prescription wrong, and would need to be contacted. I asked what the problem was, and was told that the dosage was written as needed, and they would not fill it until that was corrected. I asked them if they understood the nature of this drug (it was to be used on a as needed basis). I also informed them that my Doctor would not be available until Wednesday of the following week, and I needed the prescription ASAP. They informed me they would still not fill the prescription under the circumstances. I contacted Walmart pharmacy regarding this, and had the prescription filled with no problems. So it lokks like I will be transferring all of my prescriptions to Walmart Pharmacy from this point on. Thank You Kroger, once again for nothing !
overcharge!!
On 5/21/2018, I checked out in Kroger, Dublin, Ga. My card did not go through the 1st time( or so I was told). So I swiped my card again. When I was checking my bank statement, saw where there was a double charge. Went to store with bank statement, thinking this would be an easy fix, but was told to call an 800 number to resolve the matter. After after 30 minutes on hold & Josh(800 # guy) seeing the bank statement, stated he could not get in touch with anyone at the store, so I would have to file a dispute with my bank about charges. WHAT? 1st off, I am ripped off by this store that I have been a faithful customer of for DECADES, now I am inconvenienced to this level to get back what is rightfully MINE?! This is inexcusable & would have never thought this store would so disregard me as a valued customer!I know for a fact if Bert Ratliffe were still there, this matter would have been easily resolved, but this store has gone downhill ever since he left as I also am constantly being overcharged at checkout also & it is not as clean or as well stocked. Piggly Wiggly is looking better all the time!
employee personality problem / smartass
Kroger in Hartselle Alabama, your prices are fair, and there are a few good employees, but the one who talked to me disrespectful has bad problems, I'll never shop with Kroger again and I'm a former employee myself so I know the companies customer service policy! After 30 plus years of shopping at Kroger's I never thought I would see customer service at Kroger Stores in Decatur and Hartselle Alabama sink to a all time low! You better get a Customer service trainer down to Alabama and remind them the customer is the reason they are there, are you not going to have a business left!
management customer service
While checking out in Kroger's self service lane my the digital coupon wasn't working so I told the person attending what was going on and I told him it was advertised on the sign in back to get .99 cents off of juices that was priced at 1.99 but it only gave me .50 cents off he then said well I can't do anything for you! I told him to get a manager ms Morris came to assist with an attitude the employee gave her the rundown right behind me she pulled up the digital coupon said it wasn't working because it's not advertised on there. I then told her it's advertised on the sign in the back and told her to follow me back to show her showed her the sign and she still tried to act dumbfounded and pulled the digital coupon up like she didn't know what to do next she just stood there and I told her I'll be back to the front she then came with another manager I didn't get his name and she debated in front with him saying it did give me the discount of .50 cents but it was really .99 cents he told her where he see the error and that he would fix it and she starts grunting with an attitude as in disapproval because he said he was goin lg to override it to .99 cents. But when I mentioned I get one of my juices free because y'all had up signs that weren't correct I mean that really angered her because she grunted rolled her eyes and then walked off. That wasn't professional at all and I wasn't even rude with her and I and a proud shopper of Kroger's and stuff like that turns good customers away.
the men inside the booth
He was on the phone and I have to wait for him for him to finish his call for more than 5 min and then I both cigarettes and overcharging and then a ask him way and he did not want to my money and was really rude and send me inside the store to costumer service for my money he was not concentrated in his work he was realy rude to me I told just make a return and get my money back
customer service - deli dept
Customer service is horrible. I never seem to have a pleasant visit to the deli / hot foods Dept. The ladies there almost always have an attitude. Why? If you do not enjoy what you do for a living then quit. I ordered chicken and needed ranch packs to go, they were not in stock so I asked for some in the back. The clerk told me I had to wait rudely. Then when she finally got them for me she tossed the packs at me across the counter. So rude and unprofessional. Please look into this, it's unacceptabe
