special order process for tires is flawed
Came to NTB to get a tire but had to special order it. Paid 50% of cost of 2 tires and was told that I would be called the next day when tires arrived, this was relayed to me by the manager Joel after my original salesperson Marcus wasn't there, well no one called to update me either way about the status of my special order. And when I arrived and expressed my dismay about being stuck with a donut for the weekend. I was told "don't go there" I wasn't abusive or rude just wanted what I was promised. Didn't get it now I'm just stuck typing in this complaint, I don't like spending unnecessary time about things that should have been handled by NTB. No one even called to tell me it wasn't happening like they had said originally. How would you feel if this happens to you ?
air conditioning and ignition lock
Long story short. .I came to have my Ac fixed because it wasn't working... they fixed it allegedly, drove my car out, handed me the keys, I pay about $300...now I'm leaving trying to start my car and it doesn't start!. The key won't turn and apparently the ignition is locked... They try to charge me for an ignition cylinder but since my car was working just fine when I brought it, I wasn't having it. So we compromised and I'd pay for labor just to get it over with. They tired replacing it however were unsuccessful and told me to have it towed to the dealership! (My car was running fine when it came)... Now I don't even know if my ac works after i just spent $300So needles to say I've been here for about 6 hrs... Its 90 degrees in my car that I just paid $300 for air conditioning.. If you went good service and a fixed car, NTB is NOT the place. The so called "master mechanics" are terrible. they lack skill and motivation. this is not the 1st time either. I will post this terrible service to Facebook, Snapchat, twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and any other social media I can
customer service
On August 27, 2018 I brought my vehicle into a NTB location at 8423 Central Ave Capital Heights, md 20743. I had a 9:00am appointment and 2 hours after being there I was told my vehicle was not see yet because the location only had one technician who could repair brakes. My brakes were finally repaired after 7 hours. Over the course of weeks my vehicle has been back to the NTB shop for a loud screeching noise coming from the front brakes. The manager KEVIN informed me that this sound is normal and should go away in due time. However the noise is now worse. Today I contacted the manager and advised him that the noise was worse and it did not go away like he advised. He then proceeded to YELL and CURSE advising me that he is tired of me and my vehicle and he wanted this to be over with. This is by far the WORSE customer service I ever received. The employees at this location are rude, lazy and care nothing about customer service. Almost one month later my vehicle is still making the noise I promised would go away.
new installation of 4 tires and new tpms
On 09/13/18, I had a set of 4 tires installed at the NTB on Highway Road 66 in Kernersville, NC . When I got home, I noticed that the TPMS light was not turning off. I started the car again and drive about a mile and the light stayed on. I called NTB and they said to bring it in. The light went off and I decided to wait to see if it would come on and stay on. Two days later, the light came on and stayed on so I called to let them no. This was on Sunday, 09/16/18. The attendant I spoke to was very condescending and I told him I would bring the car back. On Monday afternoon, I brought the car in and all they did was put air in the tires. IF I thought all the car needed was air, I would have just put air in it myself! So I brought the car back. I had to stand outside in the hot sun in front of the bay to ensure that they perform a proper check. This time, they told me the TPMS sensor in one of the tire is bad. I told them when you installed the tire and you put new TPMS on the tires, you should have checked to make sure that the TPMS sensors were good. I told they I don't want them to perform any additional work on my car so I took my car and I left. For all I know they probably damage the thing when they change the tire.
wheel bearings - only giving 1 star bc I can’t go any lower
I went in to get an oil change 06/30/18. I was told I needed tie rods. I scheduled an appt to have that fixed on 7/11/14 bc Alex, the store manager, asked me to wait until his "best mechanic" was there. Hours after I dropped my car off, Alex called & said he'd "misdiagnosed" my car & that I'd need wheel bearings. A 3 hour job turned into 4 days and I had to demand my car back on 7/14 because Alex kept giving me the run around about when my car would be ready. Then when I got there my battery was dead and he couldn't get started. He lied and told me he gave me a new battery as a courtesy. The battery was used. He lied and told me he test drove my car and it was fine. They never test drove it. I had to do it myself when I got there. Because he gave me the run around for 4 days he said the service would be free and he does enough business there that he could "absorb the cost" in other cars. I asked for my old parts back because it was too good to be true and I wanted to make sure he had actually changed them. 6 weeks later, 9/10/18, I had to have my car towed, which Alex covered bc based on the noise I described to him he said it probably wasn't safe to drive. The noise was the same noise I was hearing before he "fixed" it. When I called him and told him about the noise he said he didn't feel comfortable servicing my car at his store anymore bc he wasn't equipped to service my car at his store and didn't have an A+ certified mechanic at store so I would need to go somewhere else. He referred me to the Garner store and I had to call and make all of the arrangements. The manager at that store, Chris, was caught in the middle bc Alex tried to get over on him and have him take the hit of the cost of fixing my car so he wouldn't have to take ownership. I confronted Alex about it and he asked me to come to his office. Once I was in his office all he said was that he was done talking to me and wasn't going to do anything else to assist me and it wasn't his problem then got up and walked out of the office. Chris from the other store had to call his district manager and get the cost charged to Alex's store. Alex is unprofessional and a con and only cares about making money for his store. He was never equipped to service my car in the first place and finally admitted it when he sent me to the Garner store. I drove around for 6 weeks hearing this little noise and my gut telling me something wasn't right. Yesterday it came really loud which is what made me call Alex and that's when he said he didn't think it was safe to drive! I think he knew it wasn't safe to drive when I picked it up from him 7/14. He basically just did a quick fix to get me out the way bc he knew he'd taken on more than he could handle. I will NEVER go to NTB for anything ever again! I plan on filing a formal complaint against him.
alignment, wheel balancing, tire rotation
I keep being very disappointed at the NTB location on W. Central St. Natick, MA 01760. We have serviced our fleet of vehicles at this location for perhaps 18 years. The last few years we have noticed a distinct dropped in customer service and professional high quality work performance. We do not really trust the store at this time. We do not receive alignment reports, or the reports are not fully filled out, or not invoice is provided for not charge work performed, keys left in unlocked vehicles, vehicle left on parking lot unlocked. Lack of concern for customer property, waste baskets overfull, messy service writer desks, etc.
tire rotation/balancing appointment.
After calling the ntb in Fredericksburg yesterday and being unable to obtain an appointment, I called the Merchants service center in Stafford. They didn't have anything open yesterday but made me an appointment for Sunday. I told the gentleman in the phone that I had plans mid morning so it would need to be early. The first appointment he had was ten. I took it assuming that with an appointment these simple services could reasonably expect to be completed in an hour. I showed up fifteen minutes early for my appointment and yet an hour after my scheduled time, my car was still sitting in the parking lot. Several walk ins were seen so I can only assume that the policy is to take the customers who will be giving them additional funds rather than servicing those who have previously paid for these services through a program. I will never again purchase tires through NTB since the attraction here was to encourage frequent rotations and balancings and hopefully prolong the life of the tires.
rim mounting
I took my car to college station Texas location on sept. 6th 2018. I was told by receptionist over the phone that they could do a balance on my custom 22in rims. When I get there, I was quoted 23$ for balancing of two front rims. First they came to me and said " passenger tire lug but was half way on and that was causing the Vibrating on steering wheel." So I told them to tighten that bolt and balance tires. Then they came back to me, had me sign a waiver stating I was the one that mounted on rims before. Then they came to me and said " that they had broke 2 if my lug nuts and one was cross threaded on drivers side. So after all that I had to buy lug but bolts for a tire that I told them just to tighten the one but that was half way on. So finally after It was said and done I had to pay labor, plus parts and couldn't drive my vehicle at all and it would be an hour before vehicle would be finished. After hour, I was called and told that they couldn't mount one of tires on rim because they're machine isn't adequate enough to perform job. When I made appointment for balancing I was told that they could do 22in custom rims. So I went in thinking that I was paying 23$ for quick balancing and ended up paying 73$ for something I had told them not to do and the spare tire on vehicle. I want my money refunded to me and my tire in which they kept. I'm seriously thinking of consulting a lawyer for lawsuit on company.
alignment appointment
I called 3 days ago to schedule a time for me to get my alignment... The time of 9am was set. I arrive on time. Have been sitting in the store for an hour & a half now. Car still out front. When asked what the deal is . I was told their is only one mechanic on duty. I have other obligations today. Scheduled around this but not to this extreme. My work is warranted & seem to be put on the back burner for the people that are spending money.😕😕😕
2 tires installation on 9/8/2018, order no. [protected]
Hello
I made an appointment for two tires installation yesterday on 9/7/2018 for today at 8 am at NTW, 201 Cambridge Street, Allston, MA. I came on time at 8 am today parked my car and walked into the store at 8:01 am. The young lady came almost at the same time as me possibly a one minute before me and started talking to the service manager Essie Vazquez, Jr explaining to him that she had an 8:30 appointment but wanted to do her service now. I told the manager that my appointment was at 8 am. He responded that if I did not like something I could take my business somewhere else. Mr Vazquez continued taking order from the lady and took her car into service first (not my car). I will probably take my business somewhere else and I will share my experience on social network with other people.
I asked store manager Mr. Mercado if he agreed with the service manager. The response was that I should know that the "lades are always first". The statement was ridiculous. Mr Mercado took my car and did the required service.
Please let me know if you consider the service manager behavior appropriate and if you plan any action based on my complain.
Thanks,
Lev Vaysburd

I took my truck in for service on august 31, 2018 for pulling to the right when driving and pressing the brake.
Nathan Lamore was the guy that check me in. He stated that I need Front Lower Suspension C, Ball Joint R & R 4WD, Lower one side, D. He ordered the past and made my for 3:30pm on 9/3/2018. On Monday, Mitchell Holowitz was there and he took my truck in for repaired. After the work was done and the merchanic drove my truck, It's was still pulling to the right. Mitchell stated to me that my caliper was sticking on the right side and he could order it and do the work on Tuesday at 3:30 which was the following day. On Tuesday, Mitchell & Nathan was there. I got check in at 2:14pm, My truck got pull into the bay area at 4:00pm. No one was working on my truck for 25 minutes. The merchanic took my tires off on the right front and I heard a loud noises like my rim had hit the floor. I told Nathan what just happen, He told me that I couldn't be behind the counter. So I am upset now, Because you don't care truck my truck or my rim. You want the sale. At 6:00pm, Nathan stated to me that the pulling is still there. when I drove my truck, The pulling was worst than before and my right rim was damaged. Nathan told me it was rust and he took a picture with his phone. Between the wheel aliment and dropping of my rim on the floor, The rim is damaged.
The costs and time that I spent at NTB is very upsetting. The cost was put on my credit card, Almost $600.00 for nothing. Now, I have to take my truck someplace else to get it fix and spin more money. I have been a customer for a long, long time with you guys. Resolution: Refund my money back and fix my rim. Mr. E. Allen
I took several recorded of the damaged to my rim with my phone. What email can I send the pictures to you? Mr. E. Allen
technician broke my tpms sensor
I took my truck to NTB in Beltsville MD and bought 4 nitto Crosstek 2 tires. When they we're installing g the technician came to me with the rear driver side tpms to show that it was different and the couldn't replace them valve stems. No problem, they just keep the old ones and since all the tpms are working it wasn't going to be a problem. Well once they were done the drivers rear tpms wouldn't reset. I took the truck back and the new technician said it wasn't put back properly and was just bouncing in the tire. They couldn't get it working and told me I need to get a new one. I find it inexcusable that your company's technician broke the part and will not replace it. I have previously been a very loyal ntb customer but if you don't make this right ASAP that will end.
oil change
I scheduled an appointment to get my oil change for 1:00pm. I called ahead and told them I would be 4 minutes late but I got them 2 minute after 1:00pm. There was one person ahead of me asking a lot of questions trying to see if he should get his tires with them or else where. After taking about 15 minutes instead of helping me that's been waiting he answered the phone to do an appointment. Then he went about filing paperwork. He did not get to me till 1:28pm to check my car in, then had to wait another 20 minutes for them to get my car back them 1:48pm. I waited almost an hour after my appointment time for them to start working on my car.
scheduled oil change
On September 1, 2018, I had an appointment ([protected]-o273121550) to have my Infiniti G25 serviced for an oil change. The location of the service center is 5320 Southwest Blvd., Fort Worth, TX and the appointment was at 12:00 noon. After waiting at least 4 1/2 hours, I called the NTB location to inquire when my car would be ready. A representative named Joe said it was next to go up on the rack and should be ready an hour later, which would have been around 5:30 P.M. I called at 6:00 P.M. and the representative said that someone should have called me letting me know that there was a problem. I immediately went to the location to find out why they hadn't performed the oil change. Apparently, they had my vehicle mixed up with another car that had a problem. My vehicle had not even been started and the shop was about to close for the day. The manager of the shop is Jake Smock and wasn't there when I arrived. It would have been good customer service if the manager would have called and stated that they were half a day behind, instead of me waiting for hours with nothing being done.

service and miscommunication
This is Loman X Evans and I have been a loyal customer of NTB for awhile now. On September 1, 2018, I just recently we brought our car (2012 Buick Lacrosse) into this establishment to get the air conditioner fixed for the 3rd time which it still is not blowing cool air. What was frustrating this time was I made an appointment on Friday to be seen on Saturday at 0900 which didn't happen. Our car sat there from 9:00 am until 4:16 pm which we did not receive a single phone call on the status of our vehicle. If I wouldn't have called this establishment a little after 4:00 pm, I honestly believe we wouldn't have received an update on our vehicle, which means our car would have been at NTB all day Sunday! This is becoming piss poor customer service all around and I feel like our business for both of our vehicles are not being meet professionally. Can someone please explain to me why are we coordinating and making appointments for our vehicles to be seen and diagnosed if the mechanics are not sticking to the time line that was made in advance? I also would like to know why are we bringing our vehicle back into the shop for the same problem that was supposed to be fixed a couple of weeks ago? The customer deserves better service than what we have been receiving and I have been nothing but courteous to everyone I have encountered about this matter. It seems like no one cares and in most situations, I'm sorry is not good enough. I'm sorry is not excepted for a bill for service that is due so why should it said for substandard work and professionalism. Now on the other hand, my wife Tennelle is furious about this whole matter and feels as if the mechanics are walking all over us and the care of our vehicles. How can we fix this issue? I have scheduled another appointment at 8:00 am on the 3rd of September for a diagnosis and hopefully getting our air conditioner fixed, which should have been taken care of the first time we brought in in. Everyone in my household works so having a car out of the loop is an inconvenience for us, so the professionalism we are instilling in this business was at a high level because we could have took it to any certified shop for this work. Can NTB re-establish their loyalty, organization of scheduling appointments, customers first and professionalism with the Evans Family? My wife's number is [protected] and my number is [protected] if anyone wants to talk to us in reference to this matter. Thank you for your time.

customer service
I had my oil changed today at NTB at fm1488 in Magnolia tx, Eduardo mallard
was the person I spoke with, I arrived a 655 am and walked in the store at 701 am, when I approached the desk I was not acknowledged, he was speaking with a employee on the phone, he just kept on talking for 5 more minutes arguing with the employee, when Mr, Mallard finally decided to speak to me it was a rude tone as if he would rather not have to be at his job today, I told him I wanted a synthetic blend oil
change, with I was quoted the night before at 49.95$, he took my keys and started working on the car, when the work was done I was charged for a full synthetic oil change not synthetic blend, I asked Mr Mallard about this and he said NTB does not have synthetic blend oil, he should have told me up front about this, yet I was quoted a price for synthetic blend the night before, this was a grumpy man who should not be in the business, I am a service advisor for a dealer ship, this is just bad customer service
oil change
So I went today for a oil change, had a appointment for 12:30. After they told me that the van needed tires, air filter, cabin filter, the technician came out and the manager to come to the back. I knew something was up. The manager came to the front told me there was a problem. He was holding a piece that he said he never seen the magically broke off? He said they could not but it back without replacing it.. He said he never seen that before. He said it was going to be 896$ to fix it.. So I went from a typical oil change which was 19.99 to 896$ for a part that magically broke off? Really? So I was freaking out, I don't have that kind of money.. I knew they had over tighten it and it snapped the piece off.. So I started crying trying to figure out wat to do as this is my only vehicle and I have 4 kids.. I called my mechanic and he said there's no way that piece just breaks off. Ntb did nothing and of coarse would not confess to breaking it.. So now I'm without a car, and its parked in the back of ntb! Jerks wouldn't even help me.. Not right at all. By the way the piece is only 26$
tire balancing
My wife went in to have the tires on her car balanced at the Albemarle location because they were thumping while driving. She got an oil change as well. They did the oil change but deliberately didn't do the tire balancing, yet charged the money for tire balancing. When she went to complain, they told her plenty of excuses to try to get her to believe they balanced the tires but they were still thumping. The manager, John, rolled his eyes at her when assisting. We feel he did this because my wife was a woman. We wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
front brake repair
Took my car in for an oil leak and to change my front brakes and rotors. The work that was done was horrible. I ended up having to take it back and they redid everything. A week later I'm still have the same grinding noises and squeaking. Took it back was treated badly. Never going back but I definitely want my money back. If anyone in my family gets hurt because of the brakes not working properly I will most definitely sue.
wheel bearing
Yesterday I made an appointment and told the guy I speaked with that I needed a new wheel bearing on my passenger side. She said I could come in for an appointment at 7 today. I also mentioned I needed a oil change and he said we will take care of it. I get to the shop and the nice lady said they only had one technician and it would be a min as one guy was already in front of me. No big deal until she said just a oil change today? I mentioned no I made and appointment for oil change and a new wheel bearing. She looked confused and we don't even have a mechanic in on Tuesday's. She said he must be coming later. Well I took a seat they did my oil change and took my car for a ride to indeed see if it needed a wheel bearing. The lady asked if I needed a ride to work and I said No not thinking I would be there this long. 10 o clock comes and ive been there for 3 hours. They guy asked me to ride with him because he believed it was my rotors. (I just had my rotors changed) here I was thinking they were done and they haven't even started. I'm frustrated at this point. They don't even know the real issue and aren't trying to do anything about it. My car shakes bad when you break. It makes a sound when you drive it. They said they could change the wheel bearing but it would be 2.5 hours of labor. Furious because I've already been there since 7 I said who gonna take me to work. I was already late. They changed the wheel bearing. They came to pick me up. I went to get my car. It cost me 347$ for a freaking wheel bearing and a oil change. Keep in mind I had to wait 7 hours for my car. I needed my car in the morning. I picked up my car and drive it back to work and the problem still is not fixed! I am so furious. Why would I spend 347$ to get my car fixed when now it shakes worse than before and makes a loud sound while driving?!?! Secondly I do not and never will recommend this place to anyone they suck. Point blank they just suck. I made an appointment for 7 and the right employees weren't even there. Why make the appointment and waste someone else's time? I feel like I was cheated out of my money and I feel like I should be refunded and have the problem fixed.
