free item for spending over $250
Hi there, I did a big shop last Saturday and in total spent over $315. Its nice to receive freebies and very much appreciated, however, giving beef burgers doesn't make sense. My family only eats halal meat so of course I didn't take the gift. I think it isnt fair having something like meat as a gift, there are many people who dont eat that particular meat...

Too many cashiers speak Punjabi to customers even when they all understand and speak English. This isn't inclusive for customers who don't speak Punjabi. If the cashier speaks Mandarin and a Chinese customer comes to the till, should the conversation be in Mandarin? No.The business language in Vancouver is English and they should keep the Punjabi for home or church.
pc apple cider vinegar
This product was found in veggie section and has been replaced with a sweetened apple cider. Same bottle! Was deceived and bought it as it looked the same, same spot.
Now I can't find this apple cider vinegar anywhere in store:( was recently spotted like 3 months ago...excited you carried and now no where?!
I really loved the results I received in health benefits from this product. Only thing I found was extremely pricey in health food aisle. Why is this no longer found? Please tell me you will continue to stock it!
unethical behaviour from management
I feel the need to inform customers of the unethical behavior performed by a manager at Leamington, Ontario's, Real Canadian Superstore. My friend and I had a very disappointing experience during our last visit on Friday, June 21, 2019 at est. 9:30pm. We have been loyal customers and have always enjoyed our visits to this location because of the quick and...

My name is Marina Statsenko and I would like to lodge a formal complaint in regards to the nasty treatment I received by one your employees on June 14, 2019 at Superstore 51 Gerry Fitzgerald Dr, North York, On. It occurred approximately at 4 p.m. when I was at the Checkout #2. The employee working at the cash register was wearing the name badge, Natasha. Checkout lane #2 was the only Wine/Beer express aisle that was open. I had 14 items included one case of beer. Five people were in front of me. I put all my items on the conveyor belt and waited for a significant amount of time while the cashier walked around, she would also put her head down on the counter and tone out other valued customers who were in a significant rush. She would also leave her work place and would speak and interact with individual who were visiting her but were not employed by the store. She abandoned her work duties several times and significantly impeded the store, which resulted in a significant amount of aggravated customers. This conveyed a very clear message of disregard for customers by the employee, this is unacceptable as employees are the ones representing the values of this franchise. After about 45 min, I interacted with Ms.Natasha, who refused to serve me; claiming I had over 12 items without even counting what was in my basket. I did not want to hold up the line and aggravate the paying customers in line. I collected my items from the conveyor belt and placed them into my cart. I moved to another checkout lane and spent an additional 30 min in line.
I have been a loyal long term customer at your store and was very upset by the way others and myself were treated that day. I arrived in a very good mood and left the store very upset and disappointed. I am not someone who likes to complain about services as I am a very empathetic individual. But I feel like Ms.Natasha isn't customer oriented, and isn't the best fit for a cashier job. I was very upset as I was sent away from the cash register by her in front of everyone like I was "sub-human" I don't want to be humiliated like this ever again. I hope that this letter explains my feelings and concerns with what has occurred. I would not like this to happen to me or any other customers in the future. I would like to remain a loyal customer at this location, however if this persists I will be obligated to take my business elsewhere and hope that corrective measures are taken swiftly.

I was given 3 gift cards for $100 each from family. Went in and spent 2 hours with 3 kids doing a big shop for the month. Basically have rice and beans left in the house. When we went to pay, it turned out the gift cards sold to our family that HAD a superstore receipt and everything, were somehow fraudulent. They acted like we were thieves and said they...

Was shopping at Superstore in West Kelowna, BC today. Was looking through the cauliflower and one head fell on the floor. I was holding another one and an Asian gentleman that works in produce picked up the cauliflower and gave me a snarky look. I politely said I was going to get that. He replied, I've heard that before, insinuating I was lying. He then said, you are probably right. I looked at him and said the customer is always right.
rude workers
The workers at the gas bar were very rude and condescending. I was having trouble with the pump and instead of being kind and helpful they acted like I was an illiterate idiot. I could clearly read prepay was out of order but it was not allowing me to pump. when I walked in she didn't even take the time to let me speak she just stated as you can see from the sign prepay is out of order. I said I seen that but it's not letting me pump there's something on the screen that says it needs to be cancelled. She said go back out and hang up the pump.when I walked in she didn't even take the time to let me speak she just stated as you can see from the sign prepay is out of order. I said I seen that but its not letting me pump there something on the screen that says it needs to be cancelled. She said go back out and hang up the pump. So I did and it still said something needed to be cancelled on the screen so I went back into tell her and she stated just pick it up and pump it. I tried to tell her that it still was seeing cancel on the screen and they wouldn't take the time to listen. there was a man there now and he said how about you just listen and do what we're telling you. I went back out did it and it did work I went back inside and I said I don't know why it didn't work right the first time that was weird. The man looked up at me and said kind of funny work the first time for everyone else in a very rude condescending tone I paid for my gas and walked out. People in customer service need to be I bet more approachable and maybe have the sense to speak and listen to people in an appropriate manner. I deal with people all day in my job and no matter what is going on keep a smile on my face and try to keep their day going good too. These two workers were rude condescending and should be told as such. they should maybe be told to listen to somebody first instead of just assuming they didn't read the prepaid out of order sign. The pump did not work the first time and it shouldn't have been that big of deal to just be nice.

pc gourmet bbq sauce
We love your PC gourmet Bbq sauce there seems to be limited supply of this . The store I shop at in Sarnia, Ontario almost never had this product . When I am in other locations it is the same. I have spoken with the store manager at this location about this, he was not very helpful, in fact I was also asking him about not having any 7up or Sprite pop when it is on sale because they never have any. He told me that what is there is what they have. I have shopped this store for a long time I found him rude.
It was like I was annoying him. Just thought you would like to be aware of this. Thank you for your time.
customers that use coupons to match prices in store
On two occasions I have been at the RCSS at Deerfoot meadows only to be BEHIND customers that are using coupons that give them a discount by matching the prices for certain products. NEITHER Cashier knew what to do with the these coupons, and they ended up humming and hawing and finally calling their supervisor to find out what to do with said coupons. I avoid customers with these coupons as it takes 5-10 min. longer to check out!
Would it be possible for you to have a dedicated self-checkout lane for people who wish to use these coupons? It would make other customers happier! That or PLEASE train your staff on how to use these coupons without delaying the lineup!
how the customer service handled my complaint
I bought last friday a Renee's dressing. I saw that the expiration. Was Aug 2019 so I just grabbed the low fat version. Today my daughter was eating the salad with dressing when she said that it is expired. So I returned it. I asked the lady if I can keep it just in case my daughter will react badly to the expired product. She laughed at me and said that it is just like eating expired yogurt or sour milk. She'll just give me my return slip. I didn't like that she laughed at my question and at my worries that my daughter might get sick. Please teach your staff, i think your company is better than that.
service
I was trying to buy Colgate total toothpaste to get maximum amount of points because I have a personal offer get 600 points for every $3 spent on Colgate total toothpaste. I price matched a store for this product $.98 guardian drugs. I had coupons for $1. The supervisor told me I could only use one coupon per visit! I was trying to buy 30 of this product so I could get 18, 000 points! Because the supervisor told me I could only use 1 coupon per visit per transaction I could not even get 600 points! I was trying to use 1 coupon for 1 product! I was not trying to use 2 or stack coupons! For example 5 coupons for 5 toothpaste! He wouldn't even let me do this!He told me if Walmart or shoppers or any other store would let me use coupons this way I should go shopping at those stores! He encourage me to leave & buy this product & any other product that uses coupons from other stores! I asked him what the point of having a points program or what's the point of having a coupon board! He refused to help me get customer service on the phone! He told me they did not post or have a coupon policy at the store! I finally got ahold of customer service in Ontario & they put me on hold & then disconnected me 3 times! I could not hear the phone call because Ben the supervisor at RCSS in Lethbridge kept over talking to me while I was on the phone! He humiliated me in front of customers! I left the store crying! No toothpaste & no points! I feel like I cannot shop there any more because I use coupons & I will never get points because I can only use 1 coupon for one product per one transaction per 1 visit!
He told me To go to the parking lot come back in & then I could use another coupon!
wine and beer lanes not being adhered to
Since web site shows only two problems resolved do not think any one is listening but will place complaint go on social media and contact Liquor Licensing Board to let them know your practices
On Saturday April 20th around one o'clock at store located at Green Lane Centre we shopped and bought some wine. The line ups were very long but all lanes open and store doing best but the Wine and beer lanes especially long, no complaints we waited in a very long line. As cashier was checking our goods person in line adjacent who had a lot of wine in her cart but not in a wine or beer lane so much shorter wait for her got to the check out, the cashier in our lane put this through
for other cashier using her till leaving us waiting for over five minutes while she did so. My husband was furious as we had already waited so long he let cashier know (check out lane #9) and she almost threw our groceries at us - eggs were broken, we did not receive a couple of small Easter items (of no importance) but my husband had to pick receipt up from floor where she had thrown it. I will tolerate a lot but not disrespect and the cashier she put wine through for was very young girl I think this practice is wrong and will be checking.
cashier names sky
I've always come to this location and never had any problems with any of the staff. But I guess when you confront "sky" about a mistake in handling money, she can rudely respond & repeatedly say to me "I know how to do math, can you do math?!" even when the manager came up she still tried to argue with me & the manager even had to tell her to stop.. I find that such an embarrassment to be talked to like that. Very unprofessional.
I appreciate the manager for apologizing and telling me “sky” was in the wrong for speaking to me like that. So thank you!
home delivery
I am writing on behalf of my elderly parents who have been using your online order/home delivery service for the past few months. I am absolutely appalled at what recently happened with my parents' online delivery service - clearly they were taken advantage of by your Langley, British Columbia store. My father is 87 years old, but is quite sharp and computer saavy. He is not easily fooled. They use your service as they are unable to get out and shop on their own without someone to drive them. Attached is an e-mail that my father sent to me explaining what happened on their most recent order.
My name is Collette Bullock. My e-mail address is coll.[protected]@gmail.com and my phone number is [protected]. My father's name is Robert Ward and you will see his e-mail address in the attached document.
deli service
This afternoon my husband and I stopped in the deli of the joseph howe atlantic superstore in halifax. The first encounter with the employee was very terse as if my husband was bothering her by asking for sliced meat. She mishear his request and then slapped some sliced beef together still not equaling the 400 grams he needed. There were no other people waiting at the time. She threw the meat across the counter at him. We ended up going back for another sliced meat that had been on sale two days prior. My husband casually mentioned he sale and she snapped that "that meat would never be that price, j don't know what you're talking about" before turning around and walking away aggressively. I was floored. Having been an employee of atlantic superstore for 6 years during school I decided to advice a manager. The manager showed up at customer service looking angry. She didn't offer her name, I explained the situation citing maybe the employee had. Bad day, it's close to a holiday maybe someone should just check and make sure she doesn't need a bit of time. The manager all but dismissed me saying in six years she's never had a deli complaint. I left feeling that my voice made no difference and I contemplate not going back after all three encounters. Everyone has bad days but to speak to any customer that way who is simply ordering a service is terrible. And for a manager to not even offer a name or simply act like they actually care is poor customer service.
store manager treated me poorly.
Apr.19/19 The Real Canadian Superstore is a joke! I just got kicked out until further notice for "my shopping habits" which was the only vague reason I was given. I was in the change rooms trying on a few items of clothes when I heard on the intercom that there was a security call. After opening the change room door I was greeted by the store manager who literally took my basket out of my hands and questioned how many items were there. I said one, the item I was planning on buying and the other two are there (pointing to the change room bench). I said "Is that all?" He then told me that he would walk me out and that I wasnt welcome in his establishment. I said and why is that? I was told that he didnt like my shopping habits the last few times I have been in the store. I asked what shopping habits he meant and was literally told he didnt have to tell me that! I left compliantly. I called the store afterwards because I was shocked to be treated this way, and embarrassed but again was told to stay away from the store that I visit three to four times a week and have spent thousands of dollars in over the years... needless to say I am not impressed. I was treated wrongfully and unfairly and was dismissed without a second thought when I tried to put in a formal complaint.
Ps, I have never had a criminal record or stolen anything in my entire life and I will happily share this information in the hope's of a formal apology on superstores behalf! You can reach me at [protected] if you wish to attend to the matter. Thanks in advance.

fresh produce section
We live some distance from Superstore in Mission and so it's difficult to return to complain about being overcharged. We've just been overcharged again, and it happens so often that even though each single instance is small, it adds up. How is it possible that the price offered in the produce isles don't agree with what's charged at the till? I've complained to Superstore a few times and they apologize, but it keeps happening. More recently, Roma tomatoes were listed at 98 cents/lb in the isle but we were charged $4.37/kg at the till. Clearly it's not in their interest to fix this problem, if it was they'd have done so by now. It sure is a way to lose customers.
missing points
I have a case # for which I am still awaiting my missing points, have submitted all documents necessary and requested, have had to follow up twice with phone calls only to get no results. I continue to receive computer generated emails from Loblaws stating that I have not responded when in fact I have and have the sents to prove it. This is not the first time this has happened, the last I had to wait months, lodge several complaints and get management involved. As a loyal customer this is a horrible way to treat your customers and if the points are added to my account I will gladly voice my opinion to anyone who will listen as well as stop shopping at superstore and shoppers, and will cancel my pc credit card.
