You have a deal that says if you buy 3 Canadain Springs large waters you get the deal so that is all well and good. The problem is you never have it in the store for weeks and weeks this goes on and when I justed asked the lady when today it's supposed to be in she snapped at me saying "I don't know when" I have seen it in other stores across the board just not your North Van store where I live. I have asked to talk to the Manager and Ed said" he didn't know what happened they missed the delivery again" and how is this okay again? How simple is it to make an order from this company and fulfill it? I suggest maybe just stop selling it if you can't figure it out each bottle is a $10.00 deposit. Yesterday I was shopping at the only store offering price conscious groceries in west kelowna - as I have done in the past since the store opened - and noticed a dramatic difference in the produce section - the quality has declined drastically - produce which should and have in the past never been accepted - seems to be the norm. Bins are now half empty, however if you are able to find the produce manager - the produce you are looking for may be retrieved from the storage room - when this happens the produce is warm to the touch - produce must be kept at a safe temperature - here it is not - the worst time to shop for produce is on the weekends - where it is almost invisible to the shopper! Non existent in fact - as the kelowna superstore location is a short drive - it is easily comparable - sorry folks - the difference is night and day!
As well - when I was looking for whole black pepper - and iodized salt (regular salt) they were no where to be found - however a huge assortment of candy, chocolate covered anything, and sweet nuts, chips, = junk food = filled the bins - little to no offerings of spices, grains or dried vegetables were to be found - your bulk section has certainly changed - where it used to be my to go place for dried onions, flour and health related ingredients - it has been replaced by sugar coated anything! What happened? Did you change your purchaser or is your purchaser not aware that families are now becoming more health conscious? Both of these sections need a wake up call! If I were not tired of keeping this to myself - I would not be bringing this to your attention - are you as a company in fact ignoring what used to be a great store to shop at - have you replaced staff? Are you cutting costs and hiring staff which has no idea or previous experience with either produce or bulk?
zero customer service
Only two cashiers on at 9:50AM Friday. Big lineups of people with full carts. I had 9 high ticket items. I'm NOT using the self checkout - of which they have 2 -3 employees "helping people?". bulk bun from bakery
I was enjoying breakfast today when I noticed something blue in the grains of the bun I was consuming, which was from the bulk buns section of the Local Real Canadian Superstore. I took a closer look and pulled a small picece of torn blue plastic out of the bun! This concerned me for my family and I had consumed these buns the previous day and I've had to dispose of more for I was concerned we had been eating plastic.

I am TOTALLY against the self checkout now in place at Porters Lake Superstore. The staff has obviously been cut to only two cashiers open and people are forced to use the self checkout - where there are now lineups forming. Very difficult for young mothers to juggle babies and pack groceries... Only today I was in the Porters Lake Superstore and the Seafood counter was CLOSED permanently - one more staff member cut ?. I am in the store almost on a daily basis, since I own a nearby restaurant and I am SERIOUSLY considering taking my business to Sobeys in Dartmouth ! VERY upset and disappointed in the COMPLETE lack of concern for BOTH the customer AND staff... The Westons must need more money !

I was treated terribly at the pharmacy today in superstore campbell river. I was very ill and the store was completely empty. I was the only one waiting for a prescription and the man working at the counter told me it would be 15mins, we had a good conversation and he told me to wait for 15. I stood in front on the counter waiting for over half an hour, I did not leave, and then at one point the same man that took my prescription asked me if I was looking for something, and I just said no i'm waiting for my prescription and walking around aimlessly until it's ready. He laughed. I continued to wait. So after about 45 mins I finally sat down because I started to feel faint. I waited another 15 mins. By this point it was an hour and the same man who took my prescription was just staring at me while I was waiting for the entire hour. He knew exactly what I was waiting for. I finally asked after an hour if my prescription was almost ready. At that point he looked at me and said "i'm sorry I don't know what you are talking about, I can't rember every face I talk to". What the hell?! I was literally the only person in the store. I was the only person this man had helped. I stood in front of him for over an hour and he 100% knew what I was waiting for but decided to be a complete dick and act ignorant, pretending he did not know what I was waiting for. I almost passed out at the counter after realizing what he had done. I blacked out, my hearing went, and started to faint in the store because this man made me so upset and I was already very sick. He knew the entire time what I was there for and even though I was clearly very ill and not in a good place to be standing in a store for an hour, he still let me wait for over an hour when I could have left far sooner. I will not use this store ever again and will share this story with everyone I know and my social media accounts. I was disgusted by this mans behaviour and the way he acted like he did not know what I was doing there. After this experience I will never return here.

I bought the 30 pack of the Presidents Choice Columbian Supremo compostable coffee pods.
Many of the pods have now exploded in the Keurig machine while it is in the process of filtering the coffee.
The 'lid' is separating from the lower part of the pod.
I haven't even made it through the first 15 pack, and 6 have done this so far.

this basically a copy of a complaint I sent to Airdrie superstore who did not respond
I refer to an online order which I place on Friday december 21 2018.
Like many people I was excited about being able to place an order online and pick it without having to wait around, it's something that i've used countless times in the UK (10 years ago) and demonstrates forward thinking modern company, finally Canada is catching up with the modern world.
On the order I refer to, I was sent an email stating 5 bags of system saver @$6.98 each wasn't available - no substitution available.
I was charged $5 collection fee, more because the system saver bags weigh 20 kgs each.
When I got to the store I went inside to check and saw a pallet of item inside the entrance door, further to that I also saw 3 to 4 more pallets outside where they sometimes have garden items.
I also saw the same pallets in the same position on three occasions the same week while shopping.
I called the number on the email explaining the situation and asked to talk to a manager, I spoke to a female who stated on several occasions that there was no manager working that day, I didnt for one minute believe a store of that size can operate without a manager and asked again, she refused to put me through of help further, I asked her name and she hesitated before saying mikayla (spelling?).
I asked her to get a manager to call me back to discuss this issue and as of today December 28 I have still not had any call back so I am resorting to sending an email requesting SOMEONE take ownership of this issue.
In my opinion whoever was picking the order was simply too lazy to pick up heavy bags of salt and lied, consequently, I am very annoyed about lazy staff, being lied to and being charged $5 extra for someone to lie to me.
I'm sure this work ethic isn't not one supported by Superstore and will take the appropriate action, firstly by addressing the staff member who lied, the staff member who refused to let me talk to a manager and retrain the staff on ethics.
returning joe fresh item
my daughter in law bought me some pajama's for my birthday, she purposely left the price tag on it and put a gift receipt on it as well. The item was bought at the Superstore in Oshawa, She sent my gift to me and unfortunately it was the wrong size. I went to our superstore here in Summerside to return said item and exchange for another set of pajama's also Joe Fresh but a different size and style. Now when my daughter in law purchased them they were full price of $29, the exchange they gave me for them $14. the reason given was they were not purchased at this store, and right at that point in time they were on sale so they could only give me the sale price.. so I ask you What is the point of putting a gift receipt on this item to ensure that if it needs to be returned for whatever reason, the person would get the price paid for said item?
I find this very frustrating and disrespectful, I would understand if there was no tag and no receipt, but both were attached.
This is very poor customer service. and a rip off to people who shop there !
I will take my business to Walmart and Giant Tiger from now on. At least they will refund what is on the receipt if you need to exchange an item.
quick checkouts
I have noticed last week and again today Dec.11/2018 that the quick checkouts are closed and customers are been encouraged with free shopping bags to use the self checkouts. That person could be better used staffing the quick checkouts. Not only am i unhappy with not having the quick checkouts. There were many shoppers standing in long lineups rather then use the self checkouts. I spoke to the Manager of the Chilliwack bc store to lodge my complaint. He said that it was a corperate decision and that all stores across Canada were also doing the same. I do not have good vision and can not read the codes that are needed for many produce items. I find it frustrating and time consuming using the self checkouts. Go look at Walmart (where you will be losing your customers to) they have both and can process a lot of customers in a short period of time. I sure hope this is a pilot project that it will be abandoned soon. The little you are saving is creating long lineups and upset customers. Your Staff are not to happy about this either. What used to be a pleasant store to shop in is now a nightmare to checkout for me and many others.
I would like to hear back from you for how long you are going to continue this madness. Walmart tried to get rid of their flyers and got so many complaints that they went back to them. Some things are just not worth it to change. You were doing so well running all checkouts on weekends and then some suit came up with this STUPID initiative. Why not fire him/her and use those wages to keep the quick checkouts open. I hope this appeal does not fall on deft ears.

I went to your store a week ago on a Wednesday around 6pm i went when the chickens, pork roast, steak there was something else i just can remember .i would have contacted earlier but was away for awhile.anyway there wasn't one thing on the meat shelves that was on sale.there was a few others complaining too, not sure if they contacted anyone though.not only that we get to the checkout that we do ourselves we picked up the wrong peppers package tried to void couldnt which is understandable.so the flashing light comes on there was a lady just standing talking to someone not about anything in particlular which we didnt mind you have to be friendly after like 3 or 4 min i said it would be nice to have help which she came over.i shouldnt have to wait while a worker is just chatting about everything.my wife has been in grocery store for like 9 years.so we do understand lots.not going to lie i hate shopping in the north sydney store i only go there when sales are on then i hate to .this is not first bad experience.i would never contact you because we know a manager there used to work with my wife i would have brought it up with him but i havent saw him since i got back.another thing there was 2 tvs there the worker said they were on sale for i think he said 359 i would have bought both when he rings it in it was 879 or something like that then he remembered it was black friday sale no problem.i just didnt even know they were on sale for black friday or i would have bought 2.no adverticeing at all for them.those 2 tvs still sitting on floor when they could have been sold to me if i knew.anyway done ranting lolo have a good day .dont want anything just thought id share whats going on.

I am a busness man no criminal record the woman serving me at the service counter dude ly screamed I was getting grabe and went into some kind of stance as if to protect herself I'm sure it's all on camera there was absalutly no reason for this. empty shelves
Why is it that the Calgary coventry superstore shelves are always empty? it doesn't matter what day of the week I go in or what time of day there always seems to be empty shelves? It is more prevalent when there is a sale on. I can go in as soon as the store open on the day of the sale and the product is missing on the shelf and when you ask no-one know anything they say oh were out or it hasn't came in yet and it never does.
