UPS Damaged delivery

I had two vintage receivers to ship. Used huntington ups store based on their website stating that they "will package electronics perfectly" for shipping. I also bought their "insurance" on each package. The cost: $45 each to provide the packaging and pack "expertly", they cost $218 each each to ship to california, they cost $32 each to insure for $2400 value each. Total cost: $526... Delivered august 17, both damaged... Ups driver in california noted that both boxes were damaged. Opened both boxes and the stereo receiver wood cabinets were broken, electronics wouldn't function.

Desired outcome: REIMBUSED for $5500 LOSS

UPS Delivery

I live in an apt attached to a large house. I use a wheelchair. Every ups delivery gets Left on the main house front porch despite delivery instructions on every package. Eventually I get it but only when they decide.

UPS Left my package at a CVS instead of my door

Despite the fact that I've had multiple orders delivered to my front door before, UPS decided it was a nice idea to leave a recent amazon order of mine at a CVS instead of my apartment. I live in a townhouse, and the front door is on the ground floor. There is no reason for a driver to leave my package halfway across town instead of at my apartment. I tried to call customer service, but their evil robot phone answering system refused to give me a customer service representative.

I had a similar experience. Although I was home and have video evidence that no UPS truck came near my house during the "attempted delivery period", my package was left at one of the 40 or so Access Points in our city. No attempted delivery notice (to prove they actually came by my house)...no direct notification of what had happened...no hint as to which of the Access Points the package resides. My shipment is lost. This is a complete scam by UPS to reduce delivery costs and boost profits. I will change to FedEx and refuse to deal with any vendors who use UPS.

UPS delivered at the wrong address

I missed my delivery on Friday. I agreed to pick up the package at a UPS location. But they delivered the package at the wrong address the same day. How can the delivery guy be so irresponsible because the label had the different address and the person's name on it.

We called UPS waited on phone to speak with the Supervisor, after a long wait she comes on the phone and the line gets disconnected. They have our call back number but they don't even show us the courtesy of calling us back.

The package had the medication, my dad was not supposed to meet. UPS is very negligent

UPS Deliveries

Driver consistently leaves delivery at OPEN GATE instead of front door. The gate has a sign: IF GATE IS OPEN, BRING TO HOUSE. He/she even left a pickup tag at the gate and declared it a first attempt. I do not live at the gate. I am home 95% of the time.

UPS 1Z69663R0351766527 package delivery

Any packages left My garage are less that 4 feet off a main highway and are plainly visible. Do NOT ever leave packages by the garage. Please put on back porch. I have no fence and NO dogs. I just had a $1300 package that fed ex delivered stolen. If someone would please let the drivers know this As iIam not home during time of deliveries Thank you

UPS No package - claimed package was delivered

Part of my order was to be delivered by UPS. It morphed into SurePost but I got an email saying "exception" and my package would be delivered by UPS. At 1PM that day I received phone message that my package "was delivered". I go outside and no package. I check my driveway, side yards, neighbor's yards, front porches, no package whatsoever. I took a picture at about 1:05 PM of my front porch with my address showing NO PACKAGE. First I call the seller to report this. Then I make the fatal mistake of contacting UPS customer service via email. First email they want me to verify my address. I did this and uploaded a copy of my front home with no package. Next email they want me to contact the seller. I explain I did this. Next email they tell me this "because the package was Surepost we cannot by contract file a claim". Wait. Did I sign up for this? Did I authorize UPS to deliver it instead of the Post office? They could not blame me for the "lost package because I had all the evidence, tracking number, correct address (I did double check with seller and they ONLY have my correct address as UPS was inferring it was their fault). and most of all a time stamped Picture of my home, driveway, front porch with NO PACKAGE. They refused to help. I explained I wanted to report this and they continued to blame me, the seller, etc. I told them at all efforts I intend to avoid doing business with sellers who use UPS since I am stuck with their policies and lack of responsibility.

UPS Dropboxes and "Investigations" and "Claims" department

I dropped off a package in a UPS dropbox on July 24, 2021, made sure it was all the way in, no one but UPS could get it out. The package was never scanned in. After nearly five days of attempting to break through the automated phone systems and chat bots, I finally spoke to a human! She was warm and understood the issues and directed me where to file a UPS claim. I get off the phone and go online to file a UPS claim, only to find out I cannot file a claim online because the package was "never picked up." Back to the phones/chatbots for a few days, getting the runaround about how to file a "manual" claim. Finally connect with another warm person on the phone who says she has written up a description and that their Investigations Dept will look for this package and get back to me (by now the package has been missing for two weeks). The next day I get a pdf from UPS (delivered via an ftp site that I initially suspected was fraudulent- reported to UPS- and never heard back about by the way, so just fyi it *is* UPS if you get a suspicious email like this). The pdf says they looked for the package and couldn't find it HOWEVER the description was the oddest set of words ever hobbled together. Totally incorrect/incoherent. Back to the phones/chat bots. The next warm and friendly person tells me he will fix the description and UPS will continue looking for the package. Within 5 minutes of ending that phone call, I get a new PDF directing me to file a claim online with paperwork, and with the description left unchanged! After another call to verify this link to file a claim is my next step, and a few hours spent collecting paperwork, I file the claim. Claim # 3663745501A.
A few days later, I received a call from UPS! Feeling hopeful, I skip out of an important work call to stay on the phone with UPS. More ups and downs. They need proof of shipment. I told them, I am filing a claim because the item was not picked up out of the drop box. I request a supervisor, and after another 20 minute hold, the person tells me his supervisor is busy now but will contact the Dropbox Manager and investigate! My hopes are up. Then... of course... within 5 minutes I get a new PDF DENYING THE CLAIM because the item was "not listed on your UPS pickup record."
At this point, not only have I lost priceless family photos. I've lost 12+ hours getting the runaround (if not being straight up lied to), hopes rising and falling along the way. I can't take it. I'm an attorney with no time but am now literally thinking about writing up a complaint for these abusive consumer practices- at least time on that would feel productive, unlike time lost to UPS's "customer service."
I will never use UPS again and hope others get away from them too.

UPS Hidden charges

My order no. 1ZYY15220440413700. i have been asked to pay custom charges of 8.00 Omr which is around 21.00 Usd but nothing was mentioned in your invoice neither nobody informed us about this hidden charges of yours. when asked for the explanation i have been threaten to sent my parcel back to the supplier and you how hectic it would be for me as it was a online purchase from Dubai so i paid the money. Kindly look into this issue and do the needful. This is not the first i've heard something like this about UPS delivery team. This is the details of your representative, Name: Shabbir. I just need to know if this is true that you charge custom charges from customer.

UPS Lost shipment

I have spent 3 months trying to get somthing done about the packages in this shipment 1z8v64v40414843532 and I have charged 1800 dollars worth of customs fees that there trying to say are for a different shipment. 90 days is to long. I do not care where ups says my packages they are responsible for them!

we have repeatedly tried to order [protected] ups pad pak with the atlanta warehouse with no success. we have ordered in the past ans received but no response recently. we tried to reach out to our rep he called once, i was not in, returned call, left him message and never heard back. our on line acct is 58304W. My new throttle body was shipped from Texas via UPS, successfully arrived to the Omaha UPS facility. There, and only there, they determined it undeliverable due to PO Box, and now shipped it back. I received a package from Rockport Shoes Sunday 8/15/2021. Returned package to UPS store 8/16/2021 to return to Rockport. Received package back on my porch 8/17/2021. The shipping label that Rockport supplied for returns had been partially torn off by ? Driver maybe?
So I had to pay $13.79 to have it shipped instead of receiving free shipping from Rockport.
This isn't right.

UPS Tracking is useless

My shipment is late and the UPS website cannot tell me where it is or when it will be delivered. The shipment originated in Canada and was sent to a Canadian address so, no BS about borders or customs delays.
I have phoned these clowns three times and they cannot or will not tell me what the problem is. There has been no updated scan since 5 August.
I also know the UPS guy that services our area and he's pretty reliable.
Too bad their "customer service" is so awful. I guess it's easy to BS people while you're hiding behind a keyboard in the Philippines .

Third time going into the store, new manager treats us with hostile behavior, yelling, snapping fingers at our face demanding to look at his face. The last time my husband and I attended, this is what he said: "Hey, hey, hey look at me, hey you! Look at me when I talk to you!!" My husband was on fire and told him to stop this approach! UPS Drivers fabricating delivery instructions

Continually for the last three years UPS has consistently been the ONLY carrier that fails to deliver on time to my apartment. I began tracking this in 2018, and of over 380 Amazon deliveries, 51 of them were UPS, of which 23 were delayed due to the driver mysteriously requiring a signature.

Amazon. Does. Not. Require. Signatures.

UPS has delivered a $2, 000 laptop and a pair of $500 diamond earrings to my door without a signature. Last week I had $700 worth of car stereo equipment shipped to me by Crutchfield, using UPS (Not my choice of shipper, clearly). It was left without a signature. UPS has delivered ammunition without signature.

Most recently, a $14 package of puppy pads was delayed from paid-for two day shipping to a FIVE DAY DELIVERY. My elderly dog was forced to stand in his own waste for two days thanks to their bungling, and none of the local stores happen to have any in stock right now.

To frost this cake of frustrated stupid, it is nearly impossible to speak to an actual person by calling UPS. Every call results in literal SCREAMING at their obnoxious and intentionally obtuse automated phone service. You cannot speak to a human without reciting an 18 digit tracking number. Even after doing so, more than TWO THIRDS of the phone tree results in "I'm sorry. I can't connect you to a representative, " with NO REASON given. The entire thing is done specifically and intentionally to prevent pissed off customers from speaking to anyone who can help them.

No fewer than SEVEN times in the last six months I've been assured that if they take my name and number someone from the local hub will call me back within four hours. Not ONE SOLITARY TIME has this happened. UPS customer service staff will outright lie to get you off the phone, knowing full well that customers will be too demoralized to fight through the obnoxious phone tree to get to them again.

From this point forward I will decline to do business with any online company that uses UPS to ship. ANY Amazon orders that are shipped by UPS will be returned at shipper's expense. (Previously, I had a policy that any LATE orders shipped by UPS would be returned. Now, however, I am fed up. Maybe if Amazon realizes UPS is costing them sales they'll stop using UPS as a shipper.)

Desired outcome: UPS to discontinue use of their automated phone system immediately, OR, provide a simple, one step method by which a customer can reach support immediately. Further, UPS to train their drivers to stop fabricating delivery requirements and begin disciplining those who do so. Most of the delivery issues could be resolved swiftly if the customer could speak to an actual person with authority to fix the matter.

As for me, personally, I don't care. I'm not using UPS again until these conditions are met. Since I doubt they will be, UPS can shove off.

UPS A drive forced us off the road twice.

Too bad a UPS driver tried to run us off the road twice today. Filed a police report. Trailer license number p741405. I turned over the dashcam footage to the police. Road rage. Wife and i are lucky to be alive. This picture was doing 70 miles per hours. I can provide a copy from the dashcam. I was force off the road by a crazy person driving a truck. He touched my front bumper, so a hit a nd run.

I came to ups to pick up my package at 5:45 pm at lady at the shipping counter said they are closed for pickups until 610pm but I looked on online and called they said they're open from 9 to 7 pm . Bad customer service… I asked the lady at shipping for the guys name that works at the pick up area she told me to ask him when I see him. So rude she also didn't want to give me her name to make a complaint..
