Worst company ever. I booked a ticket montreal to sydney back in october 2019 for a trip leaving on April 27, 2020 to may 6 2020. I was supposed to fly through airchina. I received an email today saying that my trip had been changed to leave on april 29 from montreal and leave sydney on May 2. First, i called today airchina but i have difficulty reaching a rep over the phone. Therefore, i called flighthub and the first person suzanne right away offered me a refund i said that i will call back because i wanted to think about it she did not offered any other alternative. I called back an 1h ago and i talked to Larissa who told me that her supervisor understood the fact that i refused to stay in China because of the fact that it is airchina who changed completely my itinerary and the Corona virus but they will charge me $75 i said no that i will pay any canvelation fees because it is not my fault. Then after a wait of 1 hours she transfered me to a supevisor called mike who is telling that he will charge me 200 something for cancelation fees because i accepted the change online, i tried to explain that i viewed the option for cancelation online but i did not confirmed that is why i am on the phone with them. It is really rude to lye and steal money like that i called right away so i should not have to go through all of that. I should get my full refund instead because what is the point of me calling to cancel a second and accept online ? Worst and bad customer service ever . I hope my complain to Bureau de la concurrence will help and people will not buy through them. 6 to 8 weeks to get a refund it is way too much. I did not receive any cancelation email so I called back myself and went through the system to cancel they keep telling me about a $75 cancelation, I proceed to the cancelation and received an immediate cancelation email after my cancelation. Now my credit is charged $200 and $75 but I did not click on the acceptance button for the fees I just clicked on cancel

We have cancelled our flight to your Agent named Miles, we called our number last Sunday March 1 at 10pm (alberta time). Miles assured us that the full refund will be processed after the airline send the cancellation code to flight hub. He asked us to wait 72 hours after the call.
Cancellation reason was due to flight changed made by the airline and its not acceptable for us. The reason why we booked it ahead of time and paid for it right a way, is to secure the times but the airline changed it. And I don't understand why flight hub was trying to charge us for cancellation fee of $200 where in fact its a hassle and inconvenient for us about this changed! We will miss this flight because we are flying from another flight.
After 72 hours, no follow email no call no update! I called the flighthub several times and waited 45 - 60 mins for my calls to be answered. An agent answered my call and asked me to wait again for 24 hours because of the airline did not respond to the email. I asked if anyone did a follow up during the 72 hours, and guess what, no one did! The agent told me, that they will send a follow up after the call. So, we waited again for 24 hours.
I called the Japan Airlines directly to check, and the agent told me that they already sent the email and its showing cancelled in their system, cancellation was made by the flight hub. JAL's system is no longer showing any flight except one flight from Vancouver to Edmonton under Westjet. So I called Westjet and she told me that the full itinerary is not fully cancelled and not properly done.
We are waiting for a week now (as of this writing) versus the 72 hours processing hours that was told with us.
The money that you are holding is not a small amount, we need our money back. We worked hard for that money and you are just holding it for no reason. Also, don't put the burden to your customers because you are waiting for the airline's email. The fact that we booked our flight directly to your website and you charged the credit card as fast as a snap of a finger, have a dignity to bring it back to your customers, specially if you were not able to follow the passenger's booking. You are stealing the money.
Again, we need our money back. We are still waiting for the cancellation email that has been promised to us since last last week.

I just want to express how frustrated I am with your cancellation process! I have been thinking about canceling my flight to the Philippines for a few weeks now because I just don't feel too comfortable traveling with the virus going around. When I cancelled my flight, I was told it's going to be $200 only. When I got the confirmation, I was actually charged $435.94.
Where did the extra $235.94 came from? If there is an extra charge, your cancellation page should CLEARLY state that there are 2 fees that would be deducted from your flight payment! You should not be separating fees as this could obviously confuse people who are considering cancelling their flight! I am beyond frustrated!
I feel so cheated by your company and do not feel comfortable to ever book with you again!
I demand for my $235.94 back to my credit card, as this is not what I expected.

I am filling this complaint to inform you that I have accidently purchase a non-refundable ticket on saturday night February 8th . While filling the information my computer started having technical diffuculties and eventually turned off by itself, which assume led to the purchase of the ticket. Around 24 hours later I notice that I received a purchase emaiI. I called both Flighthub and Westjet and I was consistently told to call the other company. As a result, I was advise to right this complaint as a last resource to this issue, I am optimistic that you will be able to help me. I would like to receive a full refund because purchasing it was an error. In addition, Being a full time university student does not allow me to waste my money. I know that you guys care and hope that you guys will be able to provide me with a refund. I consider this issue to be unethical because I did not receive the appropriate help while calling the company and a scam because I mentionned several time on the phone that I didn't agree to buy that ticket. I am a loyal customer this both this airline and ticket provider and hope that you guys really care about your customers and fix my situation.

I booked through Flighthub and had made a booking error without noticing. the next day I called to speak to someone about the insurance and when the agent confirmed my flight details I had mentioned that I was returning on Feb 17 but the mistake was not caught even thought the agent agreed to myt reply. Good afternoon Madam or Sir,
I'd like to file a complaint about $600 penalty fees charged ($200 each person) as a result of my flight cancellation.
I booked a round trip to China on Aug 31, 2019 for three people of my family. Our trip is through a multiple airline (from Edmonton to Vancouver, Vancouver to Xiamen (China) and Xiamen to Lanzhou (China))and starts at 7:45 pm, on Jan 25, 2020. I had to cancel the trip due to the sudden outbreak of coronavirus in China. I called the agent and cancelled our trip within 24 hours, however, I was told I have to pay $600 penalties as a result of cancellation. On Monday (Jan 27, 2020), I called the agent and then I was put on hold to talk to customer service agent. I was waiting on the phone for 40 minutes but still had no chance to talk to customer service agent.
It is not right for you to charge me the penalty because the situation is completely beyond my control. Many airlines including Air Canada, Xiamnen Airlines (my Chinese trip is throught this airline) issue full refunds to their customers due to the sudden outbreak of coronavirus in China. I am requesting you look into this and remove all penalties charged on me.

I am seeking your urgent assistance in rectifying why my credit card was charged with the following charges as per attached screen shot from my online banking profile.
On December 27th I booked three tickets to travel to Tobago on February 22nd to 24th, for Rhonnel Forde, Adrian Fernandes and my self, via your web site, in addition to being debited the sum of $1, 020.91 from the Flight Hub.com my card was also charged three times in the amount of $467.82 by Caribbean Airlines
Whilst I have read the terms and conditions and understand that my card can be been charged multiple times, it also stated that amounts would be reversed within a four day period, however to date this has not been done.

I had to cancel my flight to Cairo in November 2019 because my father passed away. I called FlightHub, and they wanted to charge me $200.00 for canceling - I refused under these circumstances and tried to explain. They said we could get it down to $100.00. I refused, in the beginning, under the circumstances, and I felt this was not the right thing. However, in the end, I paid the $100.00. They told me that a refund would be deposit into my account within 6 - 8 weeks.
I called FlightHub back after six weeks, and they told me I have to wait for eight weeks. I called again after eight weeks, they said they issued the refund, I told them I did not get anything so far into my Bank account. The asked to be to call the bank. I called the bank, and the bank told me that there is no refund has been received. And, if they got that, it will be processed right away. I called FlightHub back and let them know what the bank told me. They told me that I have to provide my Credit Card records as proof that I did not get a refund. This is only to forward me to their accounting department to resolve the situation with them. And, they will not let me talk to their accounting department until I provide my records. I said this is an invasion of my privacy, and I am not going to do so. Further, I replied back to why you did not check with your bank if the money has been transferred from your account to mine. The lady on the phone told me, we are not going to do so until you provide your Credit Card records. She also mentioned that we have already refunded you according to our system. I asked her, Where is the money goes then? She replied we could investigate that right directly after you provide us with your Credit Card records.
FlightHub was horrible to deal with. You are going to lose your money and a lot of your time with them.

I missed my return flight and am currently requesting a refund of tax paid on the ticket.
Under legislative provisions including the Excise Tax Act, taxes are due at the time of boarding. If the passenger does not board, he is entitled to the reimbursement of certain taxes regardless of the reason.
I would like a refund of my taxes.

I booked our flight to travel on Tuesday Dec. 10 from Toronto To Casablanca via Montreal with AC 488 & AC 808 (FlightHub Booking Ref: [protected]).
I also booked our seats for both legs of the flight and paid for them accordingly. The seats I booked for my self and my wife from Toronto to Montreal were 26H & 26K. Where as the seats I booked from Montreal to Casablanca were 21H & 21K respectively.
When we boarded the first leg of the flight to Montreal, we were allocated different seats right in the back of the plane at Row 53. We did not mind so much as it was a short flight. However, what we found completely ridiculous and unacceptable was the seats No 34F & 34H that were given to us for the second leg of the long flight from Montreal to Casablanca which not only were right in the back of the plane but I was separated from my wife by 2 rows.
I am therefore writing this compliant to request a compensation for the unpleasant experience we encountered during this trip and for the inconvenience caused to us as a result of unfairly changing our seats that we had paid in advance for.

On Friday December 13, I had reciieved a voice mail message from Hong Kong Airlines that a portion of my flight between Vancouver and Hong Kong on Dec 24 has been canceled and to contact the travel agent to make alternative arrangemments, I never NEVER recieved any notification of this change to my flight 160-769-2XX. I called the agent at 4:46 and discussed the issue for 15 minutes to determine the what flight I can be redirected to, as it is thier obligation by taking me on as a client to determine the best course of action. The only solution I was given was cancel the orginal flight and rebook on another flight. After thinking about the situation I called back at 6:49 that evening trying to determine the reason for the cancelation, which the agent had stated to me that this was due to a weather issue. Again after the only solution was cancel this flight and book another flight. I then requested to talk to a supervisor . i talk to Mara who then stated that that the flight was canceled from a schedule change. I had told them under the rules of the CTA and the moral obligation of taking my money they are my representative with the airline, because the airline only supports the person that bought the ticket from them. The only solution was to cancel the ticket and book another one. This is not the customer service you expect, you expect to get information that the company is getting from the airlines and you expect the company you put your money in to work with you and not always for themselves.
I still wasnt satisfied with the service or the information I was getting from Flighthub. So I phoned again on saturday Dec 16 at 3:15pm, after talking to the Agent to again try to get an alternate flight, which is their legal obligation as my agent all they wanted me to do is cancel the flight and book an alternate trip. I then talked to Rita, another supervisor, who at least seemed to try to find an alternate flight but apparently the Air Canada flight isnt an approved carrier or partner of Hong Kong Airlines. There was no other option for a flight between Vancouver and Hong Kong to catch my connecting flight to Ho Chi Minh City. So she tranfered me to sales to book a ticket booking 173-620-9XX through China Eastern Airline, After they put through my sale of 1953.73 which was quoted much cheaper, I decided to not cancel my orginal flight which was much cheaper.
On Sunday Dec 15, 2019 before noon I I phoned to find out why they couldn't put me on the Air Canada flight that fits perfectly between my other 2 flights segments and to cancel the orginal flight to get my refund/ The agent Jed was the most helpful of all the agents I had talk to up to this point, he was able to find a connection from Vancouver to Ho Chi Minh, as they should have when I called on Friday. Flighthub should have offered this flight first and not directed me to purchase another flight. I subsequently canceled the flight that I booked the day before.
They charged me $300 from the airlines, both China Eastern and Air Canada, apparently although it says on their information that the Air Canada flight was no charge. They charged my Visa card $200, and it appears from the receipt I got they also took $200 off the payment. So to cancel this flight a 1953 dollar flight cost 700, this is totally outrageous.
I want Flighthub to reimburse the entire $1953.73 from the flight that I was talked into booking for fear that this was the only option, when there was no cost option available. I also want the extra $200 that Flighthib so graciously removed from my credit card as their fee was helping me cancel the flight that was unnecessary in the first place.

On November 29th, 2019, I found a deal on a flight ticket to Brazil, leaving on Dec 23rd and Returning Jan 21st, 2020, for my family vacation. After filling up everything, I clicked to checkout and received an email confirming it was processing a couple more minutes. I received an email asking to validate my card information because the bank denied the transaction.
Before adding a new card, I called the bank, which, to my surprise, informed me that a transaction went through ( Not a pre-authorization). The bank provided me with a Transaction reference number, which, together with an online statement of my account, I forward to flighthub.
Flighthub agent acknowledges over the phone that the email was received, and to my surprise, the answer was that I should wait ten business days to receive my money back to my account and that I lost the flight deal.

Hong Kong airline cancelled all service to/from Vancouver. No option available for my flight. Flight hub charged my amex $200.00 additional to cancel this non-existent flight. The airline is also taking a $200.00 deduction.
Through no fault of my own I have had to cancel this flight to get a refund.
Flight hub website tricks you into thinking there is only one cancellation fee from the airline. It misleads the average consumer that there could be another flight fee from them as well! How can they charge me to cancel a flight they can't even offer? its non-existent!

Quand un agent de la compagnie flighthub m'a répondu je lui ai expliqué que je voulais achete un vol de Montréal au Mexique à San luis potosi et l'agent m'a proposé un vol de Montréal à San luis potosi mais avec deux escales au états unis d'Amérique à Dulles DC et à Houston TX, j'ai dit à l'agent que je suis résident permanent du Canada que j'ai pas encore ma citoyenneté et que j'ai pas de visa d'états unis d'Amérique pour faire escale là bas et l'agent m'a dit qu'il y a pas de problème que j'avais pas besoin de visa d'états unis d'Amérique pour faire escale là bas alors j'ai acheté le vol de Montréal au Mexique à San luis potosi avec escale à Dulles DC et un autre escale à Houston TX le départ était le 21 novembre à 9h30 à Montréal et le retour prevu le 26 novembre pour 490.70$.
Le jour du vol je me présente à l'aéroport pour prendre mon vol et quand je suis arrivé au douane américaine les agents de la douane américaine m'ont dit que je pouvais pas prendre le vol si j'ai pas de visa d'états unis d'Amérique et je les ai dit que la compagnie aérienne m'a dit que j'ai pas besoin de visa pour faire escale là bas.
Les agents de la douane américaine m'ont dit que je me suis fait arnaquer par la compagnie aérienne, c'est exactement avec ces mots qu'ils me l'ont dit.

Hello Flight Hub Costumer Service,
As per our References number [protected] & [protected] & [protected], we are writing to inform you about the costs and mental pressures and financial lost that we have suffered with experiencing the purchased of three round tickets from Toronto in September 2019.
We hope that we can negotiate the lost and suffers we handle to this date, which may be the result of the lack of enough training and FlighHub Online and phone customer service, before we take any future legal action.
• First contact we were made in August 31.2019 to evaluate the pricing and we contracted and have paid the tickets over the phone. The agreed and paid in full for three tickets with a main intention of the departure from Toronto Pearson Airport which is the main airport for international transfers with paid total amount of $2, 372.28.
• As we had 48 hours to change or cancel the contract for our trip, the next day, September02.2019, we have contacted again to change the return date on once traveler to earlier date to return to Toronto. After few hours of transferring call between the FlighHub Costumer service, we finally have got the confirmation of all three again. But they mentioned it should have redo all the process and booking again in their system which is very odd.
• We have called few times to receive all three purchased round-trip tickets as one attachment email, but we weren't able to find the email in right format of booking.
• We were in intention of having the departure from Toronto Pearson Airport, but we have arrived by 2 p.m., we found out we are in wrong airport but we were still tried to ask Air Canada customer service of what we can do as the time was about 3:30 but they said you are already late and the flight is gone if you try to get to down town airport.
• Same time we tried hard by calling Flight Hub costumer service about the incident but instead of helping they keep wasting time and refuse to advise or transfer call to managers.
• When we finally get the chance to direct the incident to a manager, we still waited for another two hours for the first spoken manager for he to find the issue and get back to us quick, with no reply.
• We again tried to reach Flight Hub and again asked for urgent respond by manager and this time we spoken with Mrs. Rita and explained all in details and while she was trying to help us, we still waited there and didn't receive the right advise while she was doing the another round of search by lessoning to purchased phone conversation back to Aug31.2019.
• Where there would have been some solution to someone from FlightHub or even Air Canada, as they could offer us to get the flight quickly to the next stop which was Montreal of our flight to catch the rest of the trip, so we would loose less and pressured less.
• Finally, Mrs. Rita after spending quite few hours to investigate and be able to offer a solution, she offered to return only two purchased trip tickets and not the third ticket as she wasn't be able to track all the conversation as we assume as she advised only if we go ahead and purchase the ticket elsewhere. And this conversation was ended by 11:00 P.m. of September 17.2019.
• As we were mentally suffered a lot in person airport with no actual help by any members or works there and or FlighHub, and we had already paid and planed the rest of the trip of booking hotels and cars, we had no choice but decided to purchase another ticket again so we don't loose more for the rest of paid plans.
• We end of to find and purchased the last minute three tickets from AIR CANADA for the total amount of $4, 568, 48 for only one-way ticket departure from Toronto Person Airport.
• We have also suffered to purchase the return ticket back to Toronto Pearson Airport for Mohammad and Shamsolsadat for total of $2, 779.05.
• The return ticket for Zohreh's retune in June 5.2020, we need to know if the return is still valid and if not, we need the Flight Hub to arrange the return ticket.
• We need the clarification all above and the paid Flight Hub ticket return to Toronto of Zohreh which will be this summer must be validate.
• So far, we have lost about $10, 000 of purchasing tickets, excluding Zohreh's return which is next in June, for all above from our visa credit card with the interest purchase of 30%.
Please note that we have all the necessary documents and we are offering Flight Hub a chance for offering the fair and right compensations to resolve all we have suffered mentally, emotionally and financially have lost before we take a legal step forward.

Hi, I booked a flight to Orlando Nov 29th returning Dec 6th (Friday). When booking this flight in August, I made sure to get cancellation coverage (free cancellation up until 24hrs before flight) in case of scheduling issues.
When I called today to see if I could move my return flight a day earlier (Thursday) or if it would be cheaper to cancel, get a refund and rebook; I was told that I would have to pay for any changes made.
Could you please get back to me regarding this? I do not think it is fair that you advertise cancellation coverage for $14.50, and when I try to use it, I am told it covers nothing.

Hi my name is Katherine Laplante. I booked a flight with your company. Booking number
[protected]. I had a schedule change in my flight which I feel I was forced to take or cancel. When I asked what happened to my original flight while on the phone with one of your agents they said that my flight no longer is available and that my option was to cancel or accept. I don't feel that this was fair. There is a voice recording you can listen to during the phone call. While looking at this flight after I was pressured to accept..it is a complete nightmare. The return flight from Cartagena to Toronto on Jan 11 2019 has 2 stops..one being a layover for 9 hrs in Bogota which was fine but then a 15.5hr layover in Miami..that means we are going to be 34hrs in transit on our way back home without sleep. I do not think this is fair. I booked this flight 10 months before my trip to ensure a decent flight. I feel like I should be compensated for at least a hotel in Miami in the early morning we arrive there. There is also the issue of food I would have to buy Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner that I did not anticipate. My main concern is the
hotel to be compensated so we could sleep in the early morning we arrive in Miami. I am very upset especially to find out that my original flight is still flying out and we were just bumped to another flight. Also when I spoke with Latam airlines directly they said it was the agencies fault that I booked with which would be Flighthub. I feel like I am being lied to back and forth with this issue. I do not want to cancel my flight! Please find a solution that would be fair.
