I received an email from you saying that my account will be closed. I never requested this. There is a mistake here. I;m the customer in this address. There is no new customer in this address since last year.
Your email says call us if there is an error. When I call, your phone system doesn't give me a chose to correct this mistake. And there is no live customer service person to explain the mistake to.

frequent power outages from small afternoon storms.
My husband and I just closed on a home in Lockmar this month (Palm Bay) and within the last week we have had two power outages due to small afternoon storms. We talked to one of our new neighbors and he said he has lived in his home for 20 years and there are 120 homes in the lockmar area that are affected by a breaker at the main power source that trips at virtually any storm! We have very young children and we live in Florida so afternoon storms are a way of life and I can't imagine having to deal with lost power this frequently. Please tell me what FPL is doing to fix this issue. Thank you.

you exaction on my property damage sprinklers I report on 9/5 advise I would be contacted in 3 day..no show called on the 9/11 i would be contact in 48 hrs. no one showed contact on 9/13 said they'd be here in 48hrs no one came..called again on the call again on the 9/17 advise sorry but some would contact me with-in 24 hrs ...no one called, called again on the 9/20 advise she didn't know when someone would contact me. IS THIS SOME KIND OF JOKE TO YOU ALL keep hang around the house waiting for a call that doesn't come. if you think I'm going away I am not. I will with hold any future payment till this matter is resolve.

Yeah, heres a small pet peve. When we moved in our duplex, we had to pay over 400. Deposit just because previous tenents left a bill that high.
Our first 3 months the bill from fpl was only running at 95.00 a month. Now since we were involved in an accident, and tbe weather is extremely hot, they doubled our bill, making it imposible to keep it paid since they want it due in the middle of the month, so as soon as we pay what we can on section 8, low income, and a small vet payment, they send us the next months bill.
We dont think this is fair. We have pets, its 103 degrees, 1 woman with asthma which needs to use an electric breathing machine, and these people plus the pets have to suffer even more.
Thanks a bunch for killing us Americans FPL!

I used the app to pay my bill (i have never missed a payment) and i had recently closed a bank account and opened a new one. The app paid my bill with my old bank account which is closed. The app gives you the option to pay but once you prezs the button there is no option to choose payment method. Therefore i paid with the wrong account. I have been charhed a $30 fee die to this.
After that i wasnt allowed to pay online anymore. I was forced to use western union and pay a fee each time. I called and complained and they said as a one time courtesy, they could waive the restriction and i would be able to pay using the app once again.
I went to pay my bill using the app at the next bill date, at which point i pressed the "make a payment" button. I assumed i would be directed to a screen which would ask me how i want to pay, or at least show me how i was paying and ask for approval, but instead the app automatically took payment again using my old account.
I then called fpl on the phone and tried for about ten minutes to get a representative on the phone using the online system. When i was connectd to "mr chavez" the billing supervisor he just kept telling me there is nothing he can do.
Thanks a lot fpl for making my life a living hell. You are the only power company in the area so i guess you can treat your customers however you want cant you. I pay you every month my whole life just so i can have a basic human need and you just [censored] on me again and again. Youre criminals. Youre thieves. I hate you.
assistance with my light bill
I recently moved to Sanford and basically needed help with my light bill. Due to moving and expenses I was running low on funds and and i called Florida power and light for assistance and indeed they referred me to a local Salvation Army. The lady who picked seemed annoyed and tried her hardest to not set an appointment and was asking questions that did not pertain to her. I have a disabled child and I don't usually ask for help but at this point I'm wondering why is that when they put black women in charge they tend to judge others . Like it's money coming out her pockets .

I am furious at a notice I just received, concerning an additional deposit, requested (demanded) by the Monopoly Florida Power and light.
What is truly amazing is that it states that the original deposit does not cover a two month billing cycle, which is slightly ironic seeing how it definitely covers one cycle and they ( FPL) would not stand nor allow any customer to go another 30 days without already shutting off service for that lack of payment, also it seems quite irresponsible and seemingly outlandish that while "our" money sits in "Their" bank account, I can only imagine the interest that number draws for them as " Pure extended profit" seems like every customer should gain a credit at the very least.
Monopolies are suppose to be illegal !
Yet never has the State, county, city nor federal government adjusted nor acted on what is quite literally a gross, unfair, and impertinant
travesty of capitalism on one of its worst levals.

Fpl florida power and light allows people to turn on electric any place if a person pays they do not check as to who owns the property or on the lease and does not notify the owner I have spent the last week trying to get someone, elses name off my billing and the property I own free and clear. I have talked to over 10 different people at Fpl many of them being recorded sya they are going to correct it abd yet the next day I start all over now they say sept 14.the power is on in anothers person name I have exposed wires and been asking for disconnect I explain house is unsafe and its and emercagincy it gets shut off then right back on now have to call again on Monday to shecudle work afte rtelling them I concern my house will catch on fire
continuous power outages
I have been in my house for less than 6 months and have had the fuse on the transformer on the pole behind my house blow out and have to be replaced 7 times with the power being out up to 3 hours each time. I have had multiple conversations with customer service, most of the time the technician reported the outage as being the limbs on the lines. FPL sent a tree "expert" out to look at the pole/ transformer and said it most likely a transformer problem, and suggested trimming the limbs on the "drop" to the house, which I did and the problem continues. I am a senior and find it very difficult without power (and water since I am on a well) in the heat and humidity of the summer. I understand this is a monopoly and I can not go out and find another power company that provides some sort of customer service. I have rated this one star as I there is not a lower rating available.
60 inch tv blew out and also apple tv box

Mc[censored] is what she should be called. She is a 60+ yr old woman and she is an evil, manipulative dramatic and psycho person. She is also a bully. She loves to go after college students. She tried to jeopardize my school career, reported me to my school and made up a bunch of lies about me. She thinks my dad is a doctor so she's trying to come after me and my family for a bunch of money that the thinks she is owed. She's not. My grandpa is a retired doctor and his past income has nothing to do with my family. I go to school on student loans. She also tried to tell the school i'm underage and that I was an alacholic. I'm almost 23, I am allowed to drink whatever I want. She has 2 houses, her second house in Orlando is purely rented out to people. She uses them as her check writers for her mortgage. She has mentioned multiple times how she is on multiple medications and how she sees a therapist. She should be suspended from just as she tried to have me suspended at my school. She's mentally unstable and she wont stop harassing me and my family. If she continues I will file for a restraining order. Her son is just as psycho as she is and he also tried to tell me how to live. He is controlling and crazy just like her. Mcbee needs to be fired at all costs.
fpl truck destroyed my landscaping
Power was out at my house and a FPL truck came by. I have pictures and video of the destruction. I spoke to several gentleman that were there repairing the outage and no one would take responsibility, this is an outrage of power. house power continual crashes
Every day my house power goes off at least once . It's freaking ridiculous that fpl continual fails to fix these issues. I don't know why we pay our bills when we recieve garbage service. From my understanding we live in a first world country and yet I can't trust that my power will stay on. Honestly improve on your trash service and infrastructure. Your company is lucky that it has a monopoly on power because if there was any competition you would be fail in the first few months. Your truly a shining example for other power companies to follow.

Some non FPL person came at 9:30 at night and did some rewiring and than placed a lock on one of 3 meters? I'm being charged for more electricity than I use, ? Help! truck driver in truck number 6663
Today 8/23/2018 at 12:30 PM I was entering the 112 on NW 22nd Avenue. The entrance to the 112 merges as soon as you drive onto the highway. Truck driver on truck 6663 saw me merging into his Lane and decided it would be best to accelerate and not let me pass and I had the right of way. In order to avoid a major accident, I had to slam the brakes, which made my 3 year old daughter very nervous, and let him pass because he had no intentions of stopping. Luckily the truck driver behind him slowed down and let me go. The reason I am writing this is because I believe that your truck drivers should be more cautious and careful when driving FPL trucks. He needs to understand that he is working and not driving his own personal vehicle. I am very upset this happened and I hope that after this complaint this truck driver becomes more aware of his surroundings
robbing people's money
I moved to a tinny small apartment with 4 bulbs, one fridge and a small air condition on January 2018. I have nothing else but this energy spends. I always use the same amount of energy. February temperature was 81 degrees bill was $ 60.00; is August temperature is 90 degrees bill is $120.00. How the [censored] do you explain this? underground rewiring by contractor
I live at 6380 jack rabbit lane, miami lakes, fl 33014. I need a supervisor overseeing the excavation crew and contractor to call me. This is the 3rd time your contractors excavate at home. They destroy my plants, rocks and parking area, and they always leave a mess and never return the area to the condition it was before. Today the supervisory contractor was extremely rude and did not give me his name. I refuse to have to deal with this kind of people. I need to speak to the fpl person overseeing this. At approximately 9:30 am on Friday August 17, 2018 the service truck providing service to the neighbouring home damaged the grass that was just installed . I'm confused as to why the y did not park utilising the driveway of the home they were working on instead of on our property . We intend to seek damages . FPL came and put a wire from the pole to right near my area for trash and debris. We just replaced our back fence and the old wood is piled there but the city truck is here to remove it and they told me they can't remove it because of the wire is in the way. This is an annoying situation. Can the wire be moved from the east side of the pole to the west side? Please advise ASAP. Thank you in advance
