CoffeeCakes
Lately I’ve been getting really bad boxes of CoffeeCakes. The dates all says they’re fine but the taste, smell & texture are horrible. The cakes itself are almost rock hard & they’re coated in hard cinnamon as if they’ve been cooked too long or something. This being my favorite dessert cake & how much I purchase is very disappointing because I have to discard them. It’s a waste of time & money. Please fix this.
Desired outcome: Start back making them correctly, fresh cakes & less hard cinnamon

This is the second time I've contacted your company about this, very disappointed I never got even an apology about this before.
I opened a box of your twinkies, BEST BEFORE date not even use by is 13 10 2022.

Coffee cake
I've been buying and loving Hostess product's for many years. My father drove a semi for Hostess years ago,At your warehouse in Omaha Nebraska. Hostess was a household favorite. My children also enjoyed your products all their lives in 40 year's I've never been disappointed,so Great Job Hostess. Coffee cakes being my favorite,I'm sorry to say, my letter is in reference to them this last box I purchased the first two I pulled out we're extremely hard not edible at all. Ding Dongs
I recently purchased a box of 16 Ding Dongs for $5.99 at my local BJ's store. Two of the pouches contained nothing but air. I've heard of "fat-free" and "low calorie" desserts before, but this is ridiculous. Please make me feel good about purchasing your product again. I work too hard to pay for little mini bags of chocolate infused oxygen.

Hostess Twinkies moldy
Alvin John Kline Waldorf Minnesota 56019 we bought two boxes of hostess Twinkies and we had five moldy ones! We had four more ones and one box I got fun away before I knew about it and I opened up second box we got one moldy one in there and I know when I ate a couple I didn't taste right it was dark and it look at it so anyway I have some pictures dates and whatnots from the box it helps any

Hostess cherry fruit pie
I brought 8 Hostess cherry fruit pies.good until oct -26-22. Box number .[protected]-2.The pies taste burnrt and nastey and bitter. I bought them on sale at gerbes.for $1.50 each. I brought one when I travling.it tasted just find.thank you very much.I growed up eating your pies.all except the chocatle one.i am 62years old now. My name is Annie Sanglton.

Hostess CupCakes Frosted Chocolate Cake with Creamy Filling
I purchased 2 boxes of the chocolate cupcakes on 09/27/22, with individually wrapped cakes. Both boxes were old, dry and stale. The chocolate was not it's usual dark color, it was a lighter shade and extremely hard, even the decorative icing was a different color, actually beige. They were disgusting. I buy usually buy my son 2 boxes every week because he loves them but I am highly disappointed in the quality of these last 2 boxes I purchased.
Desired outcome: I think I should receive 2 boxes of cakes to replace the 2 boxes that were old.
Zingers
I usually buy the small package of 2 when I get gas at the Shell station.
I was in Stop and Shop, Montauk Highway, Bay Shore, NY and they didn't have the small package so I bought the box. The Zingers are not the same as the small package which has jelly/icing with the coconut on them. They're sticky the way I like them.
The box does not have jelly. They're basically Twinkies with pink coating and coconut. YUK!

Cherry cheese danish
Went to family dollar store #07621 located at 1212 Aldine Bender rd. Houston TX on 09-28-2022 at 12:24 pm. I purchased a 6 count box of cherry cheese danishes. These danishes contained no cheese at all and very little cherry. I was mostly eating a bread with drizzled icing on top. To say the least, I am not satisfied with this product. I always buy these and never any issue.
Desired outcome: I would very much love a refund and to be given the product that I desired to eat today on my lunch break.

Changed to become way too sweet! A health hazard, for sure!
I have been a huge fan of Hostess since I was a kid, so as an adult will buy a pack of cupcakes from time to time. Up until recently, all of the products have been right as rain but then, around two years ago, I noticed the brand getting sickeningly sweet, particularly their limited edition line of cupcakes.
The first one I tried, which was S'mores flavor, was like chomping into of fudge made purely of corn syrup, so I wound up throwing the entire box out. At the time, I chalked the sweetness up to the flavor being a misfire, so I didn't think much of it. This week, I decided to give the brand another try with Birthday Cake limited edition flavor and it was even worse. This is the type of sweetness that's so over the top that it makes Coke or Pepsi taste like water by comparison! Keep in mind that I have a sweet tooth, so when I say that this stuff is too sweet, it's through the roof. I dont know what Hostess is doing but it needs to dial back the sweetness a notch. More doesn't equal better, and this has got to be unhealthy, too boot.
Desired outcome: Reduce sugar levels to normal.
Hostess Cup Cakes
On September 22, 2022, I purchased an 8 count box of Hostess cupcakes. When I sat with the box to have our first snack, I noticed the discoloration of the cake itself. Taking a bite was like eating a stale slice of bread. As I examined the contents of the box, all the cakes were the same. Looking on the box I then saw it was outdated by just a few days, but the taste was not worth the over $5.00 price tag. If you need any more information please contact me.
Desired outcome: If you're not aware if a problem, you can't fix it.
How is your lack of observation hostess problem? Check the date on the packaging before you buy the product, it's not that hard.
Zingers
Purchased a box of vanilla zingers in August. Had one that clearly tasted awful. Checked the box and best by date was dated for July. I sent an email to Hostess with the code (J05072400012720 20:28) as well as noting I have the receipt but wasn't able to upload due to the picture size. Now 3 weeks later I have heard nothing, crickets from them. Tried to call and they have training so the lines are down.
Do they have customer service? I'm shocked at the lack of response from a well branded company.
Desired outcome: I'd appreciate a response from my original email from 3 weeks ago and resolution on stale product purchased.
Hostess iced vanilla zingers
I have been a huge Hostess fdan all my life. I understand life has changed as we once knew it. Everything costs more. But dang , I was shocked when I purchased the zingers , at the tiny size they have become. half the size they used to be. I have changed the way I buy things anymore , due to the Democrats ruining our economy , amongst other things. I have stoppedpurchasing many things , as they are no longer reasonable to buy. And unfortunately, Hostess cakes has now become one of them . I can no longer purchase them , as I feel I get nothing for my monet.

Raspberry zingers
I bought a box of Raspberry zingers. I opened the box and could not eat any of the zingers. the individual packages were all opened, but the box wasn't opened. They looked like the machine did not seal them. I bought them today 9/20/22. I paid $3.00.

Crunch hostess donuts
I bought a small pack of 6 crunch donuts from quick trip in Union Missouri at 7:50 am on September 19th 2022 with my debit card. Two of my donuts had no crunch topping. They are way too expensive for me to only get the correct topping on 4/6 donuts. I’m pregnant and that really messed my day up, I tried to start my day off with your delicious donuts but instead was faced with disappointment.

Purchased a family pack of dingdongs last night. Took a bite and was sorely disappointed in the quality. Product was stiff and almost completely dry. Too sad! How many people make comments like this without mentioning the best by date on the box? Use your frickin eyeballs man! If the cakes are out of date they're going to be either stale or moldy! Check the date on the packaging BEFORE you buy the product! Even a five year old can do that!
Chemical smell/taste in Chocolate donettes
I just bought the bag of donettes today 9/19/2022 in Riverside,CA at a Vons. They are set to expire 9/25/2022, & taste HORRIBLE. My daughter complained of a play-doh taste, so I tried one & almost immediately threw up! There is definitely a chemical or soap taste to it, & I would like to find out what it is that we just ingested. I didn’t realize how horrible they smelled until she brought the whole bag.
Blueberry Mini Muffins
I bought a large box of the Blueberry Muffins at Sams in Sherman TX. I like the taste better than the competition but so far a couple of the individual packages were not sealed properly and stale. In addition I received one package with only two muffins. The expiration date on one of the boxes is Oct 20 2022 and the code is J0820 [protected].
You bot is telling my that my complaint it too short I have no idea what else I should include for you to resolve this issue. I guess that is a complaint into itself...

Hostess zingers
I have noticed lately that the the last six boxes of the cakes where the individual pieces of cake wasn't sealed on one end and they are dried out. On one occasion I bought a box and one of the cakes had a big black blotch of something on the side of the cake, not the packaging but the cake it self. I don't have a particular date for this cause I kept figuring that it was a manufacturing problem that would be resolved through quality assurance inspectors.
