ticketing system
I would like to complain about the KTMB ticketing system... My question is how do you sell tickets in the first place? Do u have limit of ticket purchase for one person? Each and every time whenever I want to access my KTM app for ticket booking, your app really sucks.. Sorry for being rude here but thats the truth... My app just hanged and buffer for half an hour to book ticket via online... This is ridicilous... Then why encourage people to book tixcket via online or app? Its very difficult to do so as i need to book tickets for my work in Singapore... Or is there any way for me to book tickets to travel for a month? I need solution for this... Not one or twice... Many times I had encountered the app issue for booking... And suprisingly the tickets sold out within 30 mins... Are u helping those people out there to book for them in advance? Its just puzzled... I need explanations why I unable to book the ticket on the time.
delay and overcharge
Last Friday, 05/07/2019 around 6:05pm I go in to KTM of Kuala Lumpur Sentral. The train to Batu Caves is keep delaying. In view of this, I decided go out from KTM at 6:53pm and take another alternative to my destination. However, I noticed that KTM charge me RM 10.00 just for me to go in and go out on the same station. This is over and the service is so poor.
Hope that I can get back my money.

Ktm driver service is damn poor, I almost wait 30 minutes the ktm still not come, sometimes I wait more than 30 minutes, is not on time, train always under renovate under renovate but nothing useful for customer, we thought under renovate train make some changes but nothing, this is not the first .I'm regular took ktm but right now I'm just took lrt, is more convenient more faster compare ktm .I hope be on time
inappropriate ets arrival time to kl sentral
All the Malaysia citizens know that KL sentral is the one of the centralized hub in the city. KL sentral comprises most of the public transport such as LRT, MRT, monorail and KLIA express, not to mentioned the buses and taxi, as well as Grabs.
The last trip of ETS from the most popular trip; Butterworth to KL sentral falls at 7:55pm and it arrived at 00:13am of the next day.
Be noted that in the effort to create higher utilization of those public transport (LRT, MRT), I suggest that ETS-KTM should reschedule the mentioned ETS trip. Just a 30 minutes earlier, at least, the passengers would able to catch the last trip of LRT and MRT (usually at 12 am) in KL sentral.
I see that this has several advantages. First and foremost, the safety of the passengers are in concerned if they can reduce the dependency onto grab or taxi, which are less reliable option to back home. Next, this also able to avoid the traffic jam at the taxi/car pick-up area at midnight.
Please consider this suggestion.
ticket system and timetable
First of all l, I have to say KTMB is not a punctual and it is a terrible public transport in Malaysia. Here is a suggestion to KTMB which is run back the token ticket system because this is easy for the tourist and those who not offen take KTM as their main public transport. It forces us to buy the card with a double pricing from place to place, it is ineffective for a international tourist to purposely spend a double money to go and buy your card. It is totally not fare and sucks...
Besides, due to the timetable problem, KTMB should increase the time slot from Sungai buloh to tanjung malim. The customer have to waste around 1 hour waiting for your komuter. You are wasting your customer's time and also losing your own customer.
ktmb I student card double charge payment
On 30 Jun, I registered Student Card and I did pay RM33 for it and receive the invoice. But I can't open my virtual card because it said that I didn't complete my application. As I completed it today on 5 July, I was charged for another RM33. This is unacceptable because I didn't only complete for the SHIPPING INFORMATION only. I demand a refund of RM33 for my second payment. I hope the center could take such actions and many others didn't occur problem as mine. Thank you. I've compiled along with my proof of invoice on 30 June and my payment on 5 July.
ets booking payment
On 1 July, I made an online booking for an ETS ticket for K Kangsar - KL Sentral for 2 July. I made the booking with my credit card. After putting the OTP number, KTMB showed a "Transaction Unsuccessful" window. So I made another booking, with MBB FPX payment. After 1 hour, I received an email from KTMB with TWO tickets ! Even the ticket with my Credit card payment was successful. How can this be?
I demand a refund, as I could only use 1 seat on the train that day. Attached is all the proof I have. I did not manage to take the screen shot of the dialog box that said that my Credit card payment was not successful. I had no idea that it would suddenly go through after.

On 28/6/18 the 5pm Komuter from Kajang had problems in Bangi & after 10 mins we were told to wait for the next Komuter. When that train arrrived it was super packed with passengers from 2 trains. Past Batang Benar station the train stopped on the way for almost 20 mins. No announcement was made & suddenly train reversed back to Batang Benar & we were told the cable snapped. But no indication as to how long we will be inside jam packed train with doors shut. After another 10.minutes train moved. Can KTM ensure proper announcements are made & doors be opened for ventilation. I almost fainted inside. Babies were crying & people panicked. It was SCARY!
komuter needed attention!
You should put some of your people in train to making sure that everything is right. What is the point that just putting the sign there while no action be taken. Just saman anyone that breaks the rule. First, No Food should be in the train, so smelly and making much rubbish. Second, Ladies Coach should be just fill with ladies/women/girls, what is the point that man in ladies coach. It's so uncomfortable while man in ladies coach. Third, control people in&out, the case are this Should be people Inside the train come out first, then outside people coming in. Please take action.

I am complaning about the signboard on ktm train, always fail to direction people.I have an experience at kkb station i was waiting the ktm line to sungai buloh, I wait at the right platform but then the signboard on ktm train was to tanjung malim.So i though i am waiting at the wrong platform but is the tarin problem not mine!And then i still hav to wait about 2 hour to wait the next train !

salam dan hai. kawan saya ada beli tiket pukul 6.13 pagi dari kuala kangsar. apa yang menyedihkan ialah, platform untuk naik train berkunci. paling teruk takde sape yang jaga kat situ hatta guard atau penjaga kaunter sekalipun takde. paling best jawapan bila tanya kat kaunter, 'sepatutnya ada orang yang jaga untuk check tiket'. wtf. call careline lagi la. 'oh tu salah orang kat sana la'. sumpah tak naik dah lepas ni. macam bangang servis. dah la takleh refund duit.
forced to buy komuter link card
I visited the KTM counter in Seremban at about 10.12 am on 20 June 2019 to enquire if my Touch&Go card can be used for the journey to Sentral KL from Seremban. The young malay man at the counter said that it isn't possible and i therefore had to purchase the Komuter link card to get to KL central, which i had to pay approximately RM15 which included the cost of the card and the journey cost.
Arriving at KL central, i visited the KL central counter and explained the incident. I was advised that i could claim a refund of RM2.00 plus for my balance but not the cost of the card.
Frankly its a rip off due to non informed staff and staff who aren't keen to advise appropriately.
Such incidents is a complete turn off to use such services.

Please make frequent spotcheck on comuter. Why there is men in ladies' coach? Not only one or two, but almost half of the ladies' coach conquered by men. Ladies' coachs are only for ladies so that ladies can ride on comuter at ease. But how can ladies feel safe riding on comuter when men are sitting on ladies' coach? Please take an immediate and frequent action!
train frequency
Hi! Tolong susun jadual kekerapan train semula. Tolonglah mintak sangat. Dah kenapa hanya 1 train setiap satu jam. Dahlah tu kalau terlepas train pukul 10.42 kena pulak tunggu pulak 12 for next train. Paling tak masuk akal kalau petang bila terlepas train pukul 4, next pukul 7?!? Please i mohon sangat at least buat setiap 30 minit. Tolonglahhh ktm improve your train frequency. I sebagai pengguna ktm setiap hari mintak sangat pihak u ambik berat pasal isu ni. Maaf kalau terkasar bahasa. Tapi i dah tak tahan nak buang masa tunggu sampai berjam jam dekat sini.
Agreed. Understandably each journey takes longer from one stop to the other, ktm needs to really buckle up investing in more trains. In this day an age, people commute by public transport more frequently to avoid wasting of time, cost and practicality, therefore it is a Massive shame that Kereta Api Tanah Melayu should receive such bad publicity for something that should and could be improved if at all the peoples feedbacks are taken seriously.
ets platinum ticket price
ETS KTM from KL Sentral to Bukit Mertajam ticket platinum charge MYR77.00 / per pax with refreshment in paper bag provided during in train but since last year stop provided.
At the moment, ETS Gold charges per ticket is MYR 58.00 without refreshment provide.
Even though it mentions that ETS Gold STOP many stations compare to Platinum, I wish KTM can review this and adjust Platinum ticket price to lower. Nowadays travel by train is safer, on the other hand enable travelers to avoid traffic jam and long hours driving in highway.

payment not received
I buy ticket kuala lumpur to kulai. My ticket price is rm50.00. On 10/6/2019, im at train station early 30 minutes at gate b (waiting area). On 12.11am I go check in gate b the train agent tell me train already move on. But 10 minutes before I go check in, that guy didnt allow me to go departure place. When I ask about refund that guy told us cant give. Because he irresponsibility my day become worst. I didnt get next train for the day. Almost I spend rm200 for go back kulai. We all pay for the service you provided. I hope you will take action on the person in charge on duty. Please provided good service to public. Tq.

KTM alor setar. KTM kaunter pekerja lembab! KTM sampai pintu buka tak sampai 5minit dah kalut nak tutup tak sempat orang nak keluar masuk ke dalam ! Orang bukannya dua tiga orang yang naik orang beratus beribu dan lagi satu tolong bagi mesin tiket dekat KTM alor setar muda anak anak muda nak beli tiket dan guna lah coin bukannya guna kertas! Tolong maju sikit kedah! Jangan lembab muka mata luas tengok negeri lain maju, sistem menyusahkan orang ramai! Kami yang mudah ni terpaksa tunggu yang tua veteran keluar sampai pintu pun tutup. 1. Cashier A jual ticket keesokan hari, walaupun tidak dibenarkan.
2. Apabila keesokan mahu guna ticket, cashier B kata ticket keesokan tidak dibenarkan dijual.
3. Cashier B kata pengguna itu bohong.
4. Cashier B itu tidak sepatutnya perangai begitu, tidak la perlu pengguna untuk bohong disebabkan rm20 sahaja...Cashier B itu berperangai biadab...

wrong token by the counter
I bought 3 tokens to Bandar Tasik Selatan from KL Sentral at the KTM counter, instead of giving me the right token going to Bandar Tasik Selatan. The staff gave me 3 tokens to Batu Caves.
When I arrived at Bandar Tasik Selatan the machine won't receive my token and I ended up asking the unhelpful and very unfriendly staff at the counter and instead the gave me 2 choices.
Either pay 30 ringgit per person or pay my fare AGAIN for 2.40 each person.

Is this supposed to happened? I have a receipt for both purchase. (1 of the wrong destination, 1 for the forced purchase)
