We bought our DVD Player/Recorder RH387-M in October last year(2008). At first everything was working fine, but after 2 months we started to get some problems; the DVD player would not read anymore discs. We called the company about this, and they sent us an email about not being able to qualify for their services despite saying on the phone that this is a very common problem with this specific model.
So for two months we were able to record onto dvd's, but little did we know that these dvds would not be readable for any other type of dvd player, we tried at least 4 different brands.
Now, not even 1 year after buying the product, all the functions are off and the DVD, for almost $300, is garbage.
Never buy any products from LG - Life is Good only for LG and not for their customers.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
OUR LG LCD WAS DAMAGED IN JET AIRWAYS. WHEN IT IS DAMAGED IN THIER FLIGHT THEY HAVE TO REIMBURSE IT, BUT RATHER THEY SAY THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE, HOW STUPID. THESE PEOPLE ONLY KNOW HOW TO GRAB MONEY AND WITH THAT ITS FINISH...THEY SAY INSTEAD OF REIMBURSEMENT THEY WILL COMPENSATE IN AFFORDING A BUSINESS CLASS SEAT IN PURCHASE OF AN ECONOMY SEAT! SO...IDIOTIC, WHEN THEY HAD ALREADY DAMAGED OUR THINGS, HOW CAN THEY EXPECT US TO TRAVEL IN THIER FLIGHT AGAIN. FUNNY PEOPLE...HA HA HA .I DONT KNOW WHEATHER TO FEEL SAD FOR MY LCD OR LAUGH AT THESE CRAPS
I have booked a microwave at Kara Baazar, Motijheel, Kanpur from LG Electronics (Stall) on dt. 26/12/2010.After 3-4 days i received a phone call from Friends Radio, Birhana Road, Kanpur that the model no. 7649 lw which i booked was not available and they told us that we will receive the above product within 2-3 days.But till now i haven't receeived it.

I was presented with a microwave oven. It looked nice but when I tried to make it work -after carefully reading the instructions- it did not worked. I assumed that it would be a minor problem and that the Customer support service will try to make it work. They did not. They did not even try, as soon as they asked the model they told me go to the service center -35 miles away- and leave it for a repair. Reposition is out of the question. When I asked why don't they pick it up, the response was both rude and clarifying: everybody takes it to the service center. Do you mean that this is normal, yes, it happens all the time. Then, why do you keep selling it? I am only the call center, call the design area.

My LG dishwesher is 8months old and rusting inside. I had it from 25.06.2010. I will never by another LG again. They have problems to replace or refund it.
Our LG fridge stopped working so we contacted a few local appliance repair places and decided due to the cost structure that LG offered for repairs and the fact that many of our local places would not fix LGs, we would use LG technicians to repair the fridge. Our original call went in Feb. 14th, the technician came Feb. 16th, and determined it was the compressor. He needed a second technician to assist with the repair so said he would get back to us. He called on the 15th to say they would come Monday Feb. 21 to fix the fridge. We are now 8 days without refridgeration. On the 21, he called to say there was no part so they had to reschedule for the next day. The next day...no call, no show...still no fridge. I called the customer service line, waited on hold for awhile, then was told we were scheduled in for Friday the 25th. I expressed my anger, requested to speak to the supervisor...who told me that nothing could be done. My 2 technicians that were required were busy on other jobs and we would have to wait. their slogan of we are constantly trying to make your life good (LG) is apparently only aimed at their employees...not their customers. NEVER BUY LG AGAIN.
I have yet again had to take my LG GT405 phone back to the shop because of a faulty screen. The display will not respond which causes problems switching it off. You have to take the battery out, which is not too much of a problem as the build qualiry is SO bad the battery cover can slide off with the lightest touch. The plastic casing is of such bad quality, I think you must have melted down the plastic from the trays that hold chocolates in a cheap box of chocolates. The case scratdhes very east and feels flimsy. With the battery cover that does not stay on properly and sub standard technology (screen not working, no high quality components) I am not surprised the product was doomed to fail. I have only had the phone a few months. Does LG stand for Low Grade? Because thats what I feel you are giving us. Oh and I would send a picture but the phone has been sent back for repairs, but no doubt you have probably seen it yourselves when it comes in for repair.

The Lg Refrigerator Model #Lfc23760SW One month after the warranty expired. The fridge has stopped working but the freezer is ok.
LG knows they have a poor product and that many people have had the same trouble. I will never buy an LG poroduct again. Life is not good with an LG refrigerator.

We bought an LG french door refrigerator with bottem freezer the first year they came out, I believe 2006. Ever since we have owned it, it has been nothing but problems. The shelves have cracked and one of the drawer hinges broke to the point where we had to remove the drawer. The ice maker never works. It sometimes produces ice but then freezes together and never dispenses. The water dispenser leaks all down the front of the refrigerator. The light inside has been stuck in the on position with the doors closed and heated all the food on the top shelf. We had to take out the lightbulbs to keep this from happening, so now the fridge is dark when you open up. We have also received small checks in the mail from LG as this product isn't even energy efficient as it was advertised! If all this wasn't bad enough, now it is leaking water out of the bottem of the freezer all over the tile! From everything I have read, I am not even bothering with customer service as I am sure they are of no help. Lesson learned, Never buy an LG appliance. We are going to buy a new refrigerator today and realize we wasted over $2000 for 5 years use of a horrible product. On a side note, I have also owned two LG cell phones and they are also horrible products. I will never buy an LG product again.

My complaint number is RNA [protected]. I bought a window AC on April 21, 2010. In the first week of April I got the AC serviced under the warrantly period through LG. The serviced AC was taken on the pretext that there has been a gas leak after which the AC was serviced. The serviced AC was put in the room but was still throwing hot air. Since the AC was under the warranty period, another complaint was made by me, the person told me that there is some problem with the stabiliser. The AC after the second service and change of stabliser worked ok for 10 days. Then I am again facing the same problem and My AC is still having the same problem. This is my third complaint within one month and no one has even replied to my complaint for the last three days. LG is providing horrible services and I am very unhappy with the experience.

I called to customer care and gave the compliant. he said within 24 hrs problm will rectify but the person came after 48 hrs and said its not related to myjob. its installation prblm. Again i called to service manager regarding this issue. he said he will send person, but no response and again i called to LG showroom they also said same story. again and again i tried to call for continoulsy to service manager but he won't pick the call. still now my problme is not solved.
