ntb improperly performed a repair and damaged my car
NTB in Irving, TX charged $801.92 to replace control arms. The car did not handle properly after that. Turns out that the mechanic at NTB improperly installed the control arms. I had to pay a dealer almost $800 to do figure out what was wrong and do the work properly. In addition, the dealer discovered that NTB damaged the cv axle assembly when they improperly installed the control arms. This resulted in me paying an additional $710 to repair the damage that NTB did to my car. I went to the manager at NTB and explained all of this. Additionally, I provided copies of my bills from the dealer and contact information from the dealer. The dealer not only put in writing that NTB had damaged the car, but also provided contact information so NTB could call them to discuss the technical details. The NTB manager said that he would "take car of me." NTB did nothing to reimburse me for the damage or the improper installation. I contacted the BBB, but NTB only responding by requesting the same documents that I had already provided to them in person (copies left with NTB). I had been taking my car to this location for years, and had referred others, but will no longer take my cars to any NTB and no longer recommend that cars be taken to NTB.
white settlement location
lied about needed work then charged extra $334. / now I see there is even a sale which would be an additional 90. less / associate refused to put rotors back on, even though they were fine to have been turned / would not display rotors until after bill was paid although asked 3x / should have been rear brakes with rotors turned (fist time needed) and was charged over 600 which was significantly beyond the 225 initially quoted / once rotors were seen, they were fine to have been turned - used to have a family auto shop & aware of when they need changed vs turned / not happy being lied to and overcharged

service delay
June 20 appointment at 230 pm my car was not taken back until 411 pm to have 4 new tires put on and alignment. Finish around 535 pm. Glen Burnie NTB order number [protected]. He said around 2 hour but didnt take car back for 1 hour and 41 mins. I searched him out about 30-45 mins to find out why they havent taken it back. Said an employee didnt show up. Wheno take it off my bill. He said I didnt need it. My toyota service center said I needed on but I said I will get it when I get new tires. Only reason they didnt do it is becau checking out I asked if they did an alignment and he said no and he would have tse there was only one person working on cars when he was working on mine the other employees in garage were filtering out. I didnt see him working steadily on my car. They charged 172.12 for labor just to put on 4 new tires. I bought the road hazard insurance and Im now wishing I didnt because I dont want to have that lousy service and delay. I will not go back to Glen Burnie if I do have an issue with my tires.
accident ntb is responsible for claim number [protected]
On June 1 2019 NTB was responsible for not securing the hood of my vehicle after I received a tire rotation. I left the facility and while driving down the highway, my hood popped open. There were upwards of 5, 500 of damages. Apparently Sedgwick Insurance company covers NTB, however the collision repair shop cannot get ahold of them. Today is June 20th and I haven't heard anything from NTB OR Sedgwick insurance. Oh, by the way I was never reimbursed for paying for a rental that cost me 1056.00 for a week. If you choose to use NTB PLEASE KNOW THEY ARE HORRIBLE IN COVERING DAMAGES THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR!

wheel alignment
6/6/2018 took 2005 Buick LaCrosse in to the Arlington location for simple wheel alignment-$89.99. Told I needed new tie rods-$468.38. Agreed to service. Drove home, then could not make a left turn and was in middle of intersection. Jerked wheel as hard as possible and heard a clank, but turned. Avoiding a major accident. Drove back to NTB. Explained to them...

In February 2019, I took my vehicle to NTS on 3144 S Kingshighway Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63139 about my tires. I had previously purchased a tire package from their store and my tires were still under warrantee. Spoke to Ryan one of the store representatives about with my tires.
He looked in their system and at first couldn't find ANY information about my tire purchase. He said, their systems only can go back so far in retrieving information. I told him NO PROBLEM, I have a copy of all my paperwork and would submit him a copy. I asked for their fax # and I would fax the information to them, and that I did. I went home and fax the information and made it Attn to Ryan and waited for a response. After about 3-4 days I went back to NTB but Ryan wasn't at work that day. I called back again a few days later and spoke to Ryan and he said he had the paperwork and he told me that all I would get is $20.00 per credit for my tires. I wasn't agreeing to that. My warrantee clearly stated the warrantee is for mileage and waranteed them for 60, 000 miles. I had my original paperwork when I purchased the tires, and my mileage logged in at 73, 854. The service person Ryan went out to my car and used a device to measure how much tread was still on the tire and he said they all needed to be replaced. Ryan annotated on my warrantee information at the top of the invoice all 4 tires. On that day it was Saturday March 2nd. Nitto tires wasn't open for business and Ryan gave me the number and told me, the customer to call and file the claim. I thought that was really strange, why would the customer have to start the claims process? On Mar 5th 2019, I spoke to representative named Gerald at Nitto tires about filing a claim for my tires to be replaced and explained to him what I had experienced at NTB. Gerald got involved to help me as a customer to contact Ryan on how to start the process as a dealer, and he also verified that the warrantee that I had was indeed a mileage warrantee. Gerald contacted me back, after speaking with Ryan at the NTB on South Kingshighway in St. Louis Mo, and advised me that he gave Ryan information on how to start the process, and that the order should be processed as a mileage warrantee. On May 16th I still hadn't heard anything from Ryan or a supervisor are anyone else from NTB about my tires, so I went to the location again and demanded his supervisor and also a copy of the information that he claimed had been send to Nitto for the tires for my replacement. Wouldn't you know it, The supervisor wasn't there, so he said and he was going to give him my number and have him call me, but he was going to go ahead and order the tires on the next Monday or Tuesday and it should take about 4 business days for them to arrive. The call NEVER HAPPENED.
On March 26, 2019 I took my vehicle for an oil change with Don Brown Chevrolet. While during a routine inspection, they confirmed I needed 4 tires and also the tires that are currently installed, are the wrong tires for my vehicle. My vehicle has 235/70/17 tires installed and the tire label calls for 245/65/17. No one notice that the wrong tires were initially installed on my vehicle the right size, I take my car to NTB for maintenance for tire rotation and other services on a regular basis and no one notice this? And yes those same tires are listed on the original receipt as the tires they installed.
I Confirmed with Gerald at Nitto Tires on June 7, 2019 that there had been no claims processed by NTB for my tires, and he explained, that the only way a claim starts the process is that NTB has to send back to old tires.
It has been almost four months and no one has contacted me about replacing my tires, and to find out that all this time, the tires are also the incorrect size. So now, not only are the tires unsafe because of the wear and tear but also the size of the tire is incorrect for the weight of my vehicle. I would like someone to please contact me immediately about this matter. I would like to have all four of my tires replaced because they are under a mileage warrantee and the mileage hasn't passed warrantee miles and I would like the tires to be the correct tires for my vehicle and most of all I would like this expedited. I'm really disappointed, I have been a loyal and longtime customer with NTB and this is the worse service I have ever experience with ANY car repair shop.

tire
arrived on 04/25/2019 @ 4:35pm for my 4:30pm appointment. Wasn't checked in until 4:46pm. I was advised by Brandon that it would take 45 minutes to 1 hour. I said great because I had to pick my daughter up from school at 6pm. I didnt leave there until 6:30pm after checking out at 6:13pm. The process was prolonged because the tech by the name of Stoney (as seen on his uniform name tag) was able to get 3 of the 4 tires on the car, by the time he got to the last tire; the tech stripped the lock key on the tire with the impact wrench. When I left, the TMP alert was on in the car, so I turned around and by the time I arrived back at the location, both Brandon and Stoney had left and it was prior to the noted closing time of 7pm. It was 6:49 when I arrived back. Before leaving, the tech (Stoney) advised me to take my car to BMW for me to purchase another key to have the last tire placed on the car. I went to BMW and they did not have the items needed in stock and the rep at the BMW dealership in the sales dept stated that I needed to contact McGard which is the company that actually makes the product but they are open Mon-Fri 8am-5pm. The next day, my husband and I both called over 10 times total before finally speaking with someone, who advised that his name was "Nigel". After some conversation, "Nigel" advised my husband they would replace the damaged lock key for the car at no charge to me and for me to bring the car back. I was unaware they were open on Sunday, so I took the car back on 04/29/2019 for me to provide the appropriate party with the information from BMW and my husband called prior to my arrival (after I called 4 times with no answer) and he spoke with Greg who advised no one by the name of Nigel worked there and he wasn't aware of anything that was going on. The tech Stoney, attempted again to use the damaged lock key with the impact wrench and was not successful damaging it even further. According to BMW, the impact tool is not to be used on the lock or the lock key on the BMW. Also, upon leaving on 04/29/19, the TMP sensor light was still on in the car and I asked Greg to reset the TMP and he stated that he never did that on a BMW and I should take it to BMW, I told him the sensor was activated since my initial visit which is why I came back and when I did (prior to 7pm) they were already gone (Brandon and Stoney). He said the best he could do is google it, so he did and reset it. Stoney also, took the rim guards off of the tire and did not put them back on. When I asked about it he stated that he has worked at the location for 2 years and has no experience with rim guards on the tire. If I take it anywhere else, they will charge me to take the tires off just to put the rim guards back on the tires.

4/8/19 Customer no: [protected] Went in for fuel system tune up, and was quoted originally approximately $350. Was called later that I had faulty gasket and needed replaced. Sales Associate, Jason Tarvin, and with approval from Manager, Bret Powell, told me that now the bill was at $719.38. I was shocked and objected at almost double the amount! I agreed...

The employees of this store decided to play a practical joke on my stepdaughter when she came to pick up her car today. While the joke may have been at the request of her father who set up the service, they not only displayed poor judgment in indulging him but also displayed poor taste in egging her on to the point of making her feel ashamed and distraught. I had an appointment myself to have 4 new tires installed on my own truck next week (which I have cancelled). Furthermore, NTB was listed as a preferred vendor through our fleet account for over 50 work trucks. A complaint has been filed with our Fleet Service and NTB will now be removed from our list as a result of today's foolish lack of discretion.
The store in question is the Huntersville, NC location at 16628 W Catawba Ave.
regular maintenance at ntb totaled my cat and did not take responsibility for it.
Took my 34000 miles Subaru to the NTB Tires and Services in Eldersburg, MD. 15 minutes after I left the shop, my transmission blew up. Prior to the services my car was running fine. The Shop is not taking responsibility for the damage saying as it is a co-incidence and it is a warranty case. They did touch the transmission. The car is totaled. Subaru warranty is denying the case as well. Honesty and responsibility of the management of the shop for faulty services would have been appreciated. Now I filed a complaint with BBB (no response), spoke to the corporate office and the NTB shop multiple times. Nothing is done to this point. NTB Corporate office did not make any action to resolve this issue either. The complaint with Attorney General is filed. Next step is Federal Trade Commission complaint will be filed and I am reaching out to press to bring this case to the Public.
Consumers, be aware!

customer service/oil change
I haven't been to ntb for a oil change since October of last year, yes I always wait a long time but anyways. I decided to go somewhere else for a oil change because ntb take too long. So at the other place the discover that my dipstick was missing and oil was all over my engine so they informed me to take it back to ntb where I got my last oil change at. So I'm at the ntb store and I explained to the guy about the dipstick he took the keys to go and check it out. Fast forward he told me if they forgot to put the dipstick in my engine will have lock up on me. The he go and get the store manager and he stated because I took my car somewhere else to get my brakes done they could of lost the dipstick. The was very inconsiderate and very unprofessional. The last time I was there it was different workers so if they wasn't there they shouldn't assume I was lying. I WOULD NEVER GO BACK TO NTB .
Been waiting for only an oil change for 8 hours at ntb on 1960 and 45 fwy !Felipe have bad customer service and need to be trained ASAP before you all get an law suit!im still waiting and it’s going on 8 pm 😤😤😤😤😤😤

serpentine belt repair
Took my car in February to get Transmission Kit, Serpentine Belt. Tuesday April 23 I am on my way home. Car starts making a squeaking, grinding noise then my steering wheel locked up on me! Had to go into a parking lot ! Car was overheating battery light came on ! Come to find out my serpentine belt was not properly put on my car ! It was not put on correctly on the grooves at the bottom! I could have lost my life because of their negligence! So here is the kicker! I have to tow my own car to the shop after their negligence caused me to go through this and almost lose my life! Then I have to pay $40 for labor! Are u kidding me! This is very unprofessional and I will never take my car there again! They have no concern for anyone's safety! I am consulting my attorney and I hope that someone will resolve this considering I could have lost my life!
dishonest company - unethical company and personnel
Company tried to scare me into purchases which were unnecessary and would not honor my alignment agreement. I took my vehicle in for an alignment already paid for in my alignment agreement. I was told they would not perform an alignment unless I spent approximately $700 in (unnecessary - I have proof) replacement of my wheel bearings. I did not have the...
