out of curiosity I weight the drained contents of a tin, to my big surprise it only weighed 92 grams. Then I weighed the drained contents of another 4 tins not one had the contents it said on the tin. Namely 119 grams. the heaviest one was 109 grams and I didn't really squeeze very hard as to get the last drop of water out of it. So we pay already in my opinion a ridiculous high price for these so called 119 grams of tuna and then we are still given short. Does anybody in your company ever do any quality checking or do you just accept that your Thai supplier will do the right thing and deliver what's on the tin. The contents also doesn't really smell very appetizing. Please be my guest and check this out for yourselves. I for one will not buy one more tin of this rubbish. It's just not right. God knows whatever else I have to start checking from your company to see if I'm not being taken for a ride.

I am a client venting in regards to the poor service that I received and you taking the matter personal.
You stated to my husband that you are pulling out of this complaint because of the insults.
I deal with thousands of complaints on a daily basis, the important factor is to remain objective. I've been called many things in my life, whilst investigating a complaint but you need to understand that the anger is not directed at you, the individual, but the company.
I am not happy with your statement, I am the client and I have a right to void my opinion if I receive shoddy service.
I want the details of the person that you are reporting to.
You stated that you tried to help me.. how, by providing me with a R5300.00 quote, which is more than the actual cost of the TV. That is not going beyond and above for a client, you clearly have no idea what the "TCF..Treating the Client Fairly" initiative is.
If this is how you manage customer complaints, than you are not in the right field.
The nerve to tell me that you are pulling out, because you deem my complaint to be personally attached to yourself is ridiculous.
It is pathetic, to leave a client in a predicament because you cannot handle criticism and you now regard this fight that I'm fighting, .. fighting for my rights, as personal.
So if there's a difficult client on the floor, are you just going to walk away without providing a resolution, because the client's anger and frustration is a personal attack on you.
I need the details of a person that I can communicate to that understands the process of effective complaints handling.
spekko 2kg rice containing maggots...
I've bought Spekko 2kg rice, twice in the past two weeks and on both occasions did it contain maggots. I told the lady manager and ask her to pull it from the shelves, but it's still being sold.
Please inform them to remove it from the shelves or I will lunge a complaint with the health department as this is not the only products that's infectious, even the meat that they pack has a funny smell, even though the dates are well before the expired date written.
Please can someone look into this. This is lawsuits waiting to happen...!

I had 2 occasions with Shoprite in Boksburg Town CBD, I once bought few items and not everything was packed including meat, Once again last month I bought few items but unfortunately my Sour Cream and chocolate was not packed and all the time realised when I get home and it's too far for me to go and its costly, said thing is that there are packers there how do they manage not to give customers everything they paid for and with security guards at the door that check slips but cant see missing items that were paid for, my question is what are they actually checking and packing? I'm very upset with these incidents, Shoprite it's mostly convenient for us people who are unemployed yet they afford such mistakes.

We que on the Kiosk at the till point for cigarette, to buy a 2 litre coldrink so she said we are not allowed to buy on the till only in till 1 n 2 but the was a long que, I just asked her that we usually buy on other shoprite but they gave us problem and she said this shoprite is different with other shoprite but their staff buy groceries on the till with more than 5 items so this doesn't satisfy well as customers and I need an answer I am also a cashier at Pep store but we don't treat customers like this. I mistakenly thought i had enough money from deposits to buy a 750ml beer. After trying to rectify my mistake i was told by an extremely rude store manager to go and shop somewhere else. Me and my acquaintances have spent tens of thousands of rands at your shop over the last year. We will now be taking our business elsewhere as instructed. The store is the Mowbray Shoprite Liquor. The manager in questions name is Gary. You guys can thank Mr Gary for the loss of thousands of rands of business. Tottaly unacceptable. Good day.

Theres a guy whos working with trolleys and he took my trolly when i was exiting shoprite on my way to taxi renk, the trolley was having a lot of heavy shoprite plastic packages, he came to me and ask for shoptrite slip n i asked him cant you see the packages is for shoprite and why are asking for sleep inside the mall while there is a security at the door who checked my slip n my items, he was rude and wearing shoprite trolley uniform, he immediately took out my plastics inside the trolley and leave them on the floor and i was embarrassed because his working to collect trolleys after we done wth them not to take trolleys from us while we still on the go,

enterprise polony pricing
I visited the Lyttelton shoprite on 3 Aug 2019, there was a board advertising the enterprise polony 1kg for r29.99. I took 2, got to the cashier n it scans for r59.99 instead of r29.99 She called a supervisor n she says that the special excludes this specific polony, which was the enterprise chicken polony. I asked why n she tells me that this polony was made from chicken breast meat. I was furious. We debated back n forth, then decided to go to the polony section to look at the board displayed. It simply stated "enterprise polony R29.99 1kg assorted". Firstly my time was wasted, debating over what was clearly an error on the stores part. Secondly not one of the employees I spoke to apologised for the error or fault on their side, they all insisted I'm reading the sign wrong. She even went to the extent to say that the board is placed away from the polony I took. Even if the board was placed by the eggs it does not change what it says, saying assorted means all flavours under this brand. Then she says no the polony I took is a premium product, I asked her to show me where on the packaging does it say premium she was not able to. I'm disgusted with the customer service we experience at this store time n time again. This is not the first time I've experience false advertising at this store. This needs to be taken up or I will take this further

Once again I had to call your local Shoprite at the the Castle Centre about 2 complaints which would not even havwe been one if the second one did not happen because i am so used to your packers' poor client service.
I quickly ran in to buy just a couple things then while I was there I remembered other things to buy. Now I had a basket trolley and there were very few cashiers (again). When I got to the till I was asked if I need a plastic bag and I said yes, then the cashier said how many, to which I replied "honey you're the cashier how many do you think I need" and she rang up 2 which was correct. I had purchased a 10kg Mealie Meal bag and miscellaneous other items. The packer packed up the stuff and even though she could see I am an old lady of nearly 70, she left me to carry, my handbag clinched under my arm, 2 bags in the one hand and the 10kg in the other, not getting a trolley. POOR TRAINING AND CLIENT LIAISON.
Getting to the door my slipped was checked with me holding the slip with the 2 bags so the security to check my purchases. THEN... the next thing a young black man came up to me started to just grab my things out of my hands and I told him to leave me, then came the whining about how hungry he is and I sent him off with a flea in his ear while being stared at by black cutomers as if I am the problem. I was robbed at gun point in my house and beaten up severely so I don't like when people storm onto me as I have trust issues now. When I called the shop 013 231 9600 after a second call because the first was dropped - eventually a Nelson came onto the line. He told me that outside the doors is not Shoprites problem, but this incident took place at the door, next to the security. If you look at Checkers in Lydenburg it is such a pleasure to shop there, but Burgersfort have 3 and each of them not to the standard that they should be. Cashiers don't greet you, not friendly and will talk to others whilst serving you as a customer. Shoprite seriously need to look at the training of their employees in this area. It's not a pleasure to shop here. We are their bread and butter but are treated with arrogance, maybe because I am white. We simply love the Nutri Kids milk product for 3 years and up for our 3 year old twins but cannot readily obtain it at the store, Checkers, Fairbridge Mall, Brackenfell where I do my shopping.
I am in luck when I find it on a shelve.
Today I was at a dentist with the twins and paged through a magazine of January 2019. I was shocked to find that you also have a mixed berries of Nutri Kids range!
Can you please ask Checkers, Fairbridge Mall, Brackenfell to: 1) ensure that the Nutri Kids product is readily available.Currently there is space for only 2 boxes containing 6 x liters each whereas the Parmalat product can be found on about 4 shelves. 2) to obtain the mixed berries range of Nutri Kids milk.

As a client of your popular shop today I was deeply disgraced by your personal.
On the 07/07/19 05:20 I bought groceries of almost R2054 food and 2electronic goods a straightener and haidreyer was among the things I bought.
On Sunday I tried out my new blowdyer and find that it doesn't heat up the hair like its suppose to. I left it and used my usual old blower.
I send my father in-law to take it back to your branch Paarl Huguenot 02187753.
Where my father in-law took it to a Mr Shane Karkee he the spoke down on my father even leaving my father to stand and wait for him while he chit chat to other staff before returning to my father and informing him that maybe I'm putting the blow dryer on 1 and not 2 and that he can't return it.
My father then came home inform me about what happened. I then went to your shop and asked for the guy that spoked to my father Mr Shane Karkee the lady at the tilled called him 2times telling him a customer awaiting on him he now having a really dramatic attitude towards me.
I then inform him regarding what my father said, I told him I used a blow dryer per instructions and that the heat is not what it is he then put the dryer in the plug blowing his hand and then a Mr Dries NRL also now coming towards us asking me to relax they'll help me but he don't have any idea what happened now this Mr Shane Marked show him on his hand the heat and Mr Dries Nel now telling me (maybe you need to get a blow dryer for R1000 for better results) is this now how shoprite is degrading, female clients I feel offended by your staff.
If I wanted to buy a dryer for that price I would buy it but its not my first time buying Ottimo products from you.
I then ask Mr Dries Nel your email address where upon he said look on your shoprite bag there is a number numeral times I asked for email address because he don't know you shoprite head office email address is this the service you portray to clients.
I'm deeply deeply hurt an offended by your staff.

On the 13/07/2019 I went to ShopRite store at modjadji plaza _kgapane(bolobedu) to buy 1litre first choice vanilla custard, on the shelves priced 21.99 but on the tillpoints is 23.99 then I asked one of the staff supervisors then she replied that it's a mistake the real price is 23.99 not 21.99 and she apologise to me but today I went to the store again on the 15/07/2019 the price is still the same on the shelves 21.99.Now it's look like I was robbed my money and this is not good for customers.what if you can't read?I think cashiers of ShopRite at modjadji plaza are robbing customers to buy their lunch, if not so why are they faking prices.please get to the bottom of this.

I purchased a bag of Dole garden salad on 7/11/2019 with an enjoy by date of 7/19/2019 today is 7/13/2019 and the entire bag is brown and smells spoiled. I stored it properly in the refrigerator! harassment at work
Good day I Would like to lodge a complain aGainst Ms Julies the sales manager of Checkers Capegate I am an outsource, merchandiser at the store and cant work with this woman I have alot op principles to attend to but she feel the need to insult me every chance she gets infront of other staff members and because shes a manager and im new im not allowed to be rude back with her. The thing is im a grownup working for my child so i dont need such unfair treatment im just there to do my job she's pussing both me and my colleague to the point where we feel like hitting her to teach her a lesson and how to treat other people with respect we do not care about what the consequences will be as every one is to afraid to take a stand against her there are atleast 10 people who also have issues with her but are to afraid to come forward cause they are afraid of being chased out of the store . We are gonna take this matter further if someone doesnt put this woman on her place as we all have human rights and dont need it to be violated on a daily as it makes it unpleasant for us to work in this store especially the groceries department.
Theres another one at Virginia circle, her name is charmaine, I've never seen a Manager like that one before. Shouting staff and her managers like they're not the adults. I'm no longer shopping at that checkers because of her even though its around the area where im living in.

A Family friend was on his to to visit us when 6 guys at Shoprite Cravenby tried to Rob him. They waited outside for him so that they can take his belongings he obviously called my husband and was safely collected by him. This is not the first time people are being robbed at Cravenby Branch, there are 4 securities at this store outside patrolling and yet people just get robbed over and over and over again.
You the management of Shoprite need to make sure your customers are safe when shopping at your store and have a peace of mind to feel safe when entering and leaving your store .
You will obviously not do anything about this ...
but at least I will know that others are reading this and see that you should not shop in this area cause there's no saftey for you .

I am so disappointed, I bought monthly grocery's on the 25th. On the 3rd of June, I made the Burgers for supper. immediately my husband said something taste sour. My 8 and 12 year also mentioned it on their fist bite. Eventually I took a bite, and it taste like old meat. I took the burgers back last night, I spoke to the manager. I also took the burgers that I made so she could taste. She just looked at it and ask of I want another box or my money back which I took the money back for the burgers. No apology nothing. I kept my Kids at home today because to stomach cramps. If it gets worse, I will take them to the doctor.
So all I'am asking for Shoprite to refund my slip attached, So I can take my kids to the Doctor.

I purchase a spicy chicken sandwich and a fish sandwich 2 for 3. I asked for extra pickle on both sandwiches and also tomatoes with on the spicy chicken I leave I pay for the mail I pay the extra cost and I'm and also heavy tartar for the fish I leave at the pan for my merchandise get down the road biting into my sandwich there is no pickle and Holly knoll tartar sauce on the sandwich I had to turn around go back and let them know instead of them fixing me a fresh sandwich they give me the sandwich that I already have that I travel back with now how nosti is that to give to a customer then on top of that I had to drive I had to turn back around after I got the sandwich and noticed that they didn't give me a fresh sandwich I had to turn back around and get and go back to the checkers I went there two extra times and then I end up having to request my money back because they gave me poor customer service. And plus this was a long drive for me I'm coming from tamarac and I live in Miramar so I had to drive back to give them the sandwich and then drive back again in order to try to get this taken care of so this was poor customer service and me having to use my tire engine well to come back and forth to that store and I'm trying to hurry up and get home from work.inconsiderate of me and my time and inconsiderate of me having to go back and forth if they haven't fixed my sandwich right the first time I wouldn't have to make two extra back to trying to get my sandwich done properly. This morning I was in our local Shoprite to get a few things and when I went to get some meat, there were birds all over the meat, which is terrible because their nails were digging into the wrapping, which means that they were touching the meat and there were no staff around doing any thing about it.
