Hey take alot im very dissapointed, i have paid my installment for my order 11 of March and it was supposed to be delivered on 23rd march up today which is the 27th there is delivery, no apologies, no email to explain why my order never arrived, im disappointed really this is the first time your service is bad, also on 23rd march i ordered [protected] that i was supposed to collect the next also no apologies from takealot just a message saying delays on the app.

Delayed refund
I asked for a refund for a product that takealot failed to deliver on the 16th and on the 17th March 2023 I asked for a refund until to day its a struggle to be refunded.
I waited 2weeks for the product.
The product was initially delivered on the 28th when it came it had missing screws and returned it on the 29th requested for a replacement which was never delivered.
Now I have been trying to contact them n I am not refunded still .

Cancellation of an ordered item
To whom it may concern,
This is extremely unfortunate that an item I purchased on the 8th of march 2023, in stock, was cancelled on the 13th of March 2023 due to "supplier out of stock". This needs to be addressed as a matter of urgency.
After my item was cancelled, I looked online and there were options available from suppliers to purchase this item that Takealot canceled and I am therefore very unsettled by the cancellation. I am especially unsettled as the price of these items had increased immensely since I made my purchase last week. The item also did not have any information stating it was low in stock when I purchased it and therefore Takealot have no excuse to have canceled this item.
I have thus pasted screenshots of my rights as a consumer in South Africa, and I will take legal action against Takealot for this incident. It is unacceptable and I am well within my right to fight this issue.
I will require the dates and times that Takealot made contact with the supplier for this product, as well as who the supplier was, as this is within my right to know. Takealot promoted this product and will be held legally liable for the change in price between the time I purchased the item to the time I received the cancelation, as this is clearly bait marketing in which I am protected against, as well as a supplier not being permitted to make promotional offers with no intention to fulfil them. Takealot are also not permitted to limit access to any items a consumer wishes to purchase, which Takealot have done so here. There are two different links for the exact same item with two extremely different prices, meaning this is again against the consumer rights as a supplier is not permitted to charge unfair prices - very clearly an incident of this.
Please see my rights attached and ensure you take action immediately as I will not hesitate to take legal action.

Items purchased not received
I ordered 3 items. Received 3 items, 2 of these were the opposite of what I ordered. Their return app page do not allow me to return items as it is makeup, which i did not received. Had to log return on the only item which allow me to return. Wrote exactly what was delivered wrong. So one item was delivered correctly. The other item I paid for, and never received.
Desired outcome: Refund on calls made and had to hold the line for hours with no answer. And credit on the eyeliner never received

I submit return 11 days late because of other cercumstances, and I ask if takelot can make an exception this once. The products does not look as on the pictures and some of it are from very poor quility. They do not answer me in time and if they do they refuses to help me. I never open or brake any seal. I recieved it back, but the one product has a scath on it. Now takelot is going to say I damaged the product. I have sent a lot of goods back, but is always because it does not look like the pictures/is of poor quility. Please, please can you help me, to get this back, and have a refund.

Delivery of Dog Food
I ordered dog food from Takealot and paid R70 extra to have it delivered on Monday, 27 Feb 2023, however, the product was not delivered on 27 Feb, only on the 28th Feb. So, why pay R70 to have it delivered on a date you helped me to select and i pay for that but it is then not delivered? Also, It says that Zhane signed for this but she did not. I do not know who signed for it, most-likely it was my maid and the product was only delivered then to me on Tuesday, 28 Feb 2023 in the afternoon. I have really had better service from Takealot. I am really disappointed.
Desired outcome: R70 back because it was not delivered when i asked for it nor for when i paid for it to be delivered.
2nd time receiving the wrong order

I ordered Lego's for my Son's birthday laas week Monday 27 February, they delivered the order on Wednesday it was the wrong Lego set, I ordered a creator 3in1 Race car transporter and got a creator 3in1 Bunny set, I called Takealot to log a return no feedback yet it's a week later, I ordered the same Lego set again and payed for it again to be in time for my son's birthday on Wendsday 8 March 2023 because they said the return is gone take 14days I can't wait so long and tell my son he's not getting a birthday present today they delivered the order and got the wrong order again, another creator 3in1 Bunny set from Takealot, now I must book another return request, I can't pay another R445 for legos for your fault, I want my order to be delivered tomorrow, when they pick up the wrong order. Other wise I'm gone take this further with my attorneys.

Hi, I am writing due to a voucher that was gifted to me but can not be used.
Everytime u try to use thing voucher it tells me the voucher has already been used or loaded to my account which is most definitely has not, I have emailed with a Danyaal.A and explained this to her many times with proof. Missing Item
I drove all the way to Cape Town takealot warehouse to collect a PlayStation 5 accessories bundle.
Apon returning home I found that the box plastic was broken and that the media remote was missing. I phoned in only to get my missing product but now they want the whole product back. They literally gonna write off a R12k product instead of just writing off a R1k product.. amazon can't get here faster enough.

I would like to bring an issue to your attention regarding my recent purchase (15 February 2023 Order #[protected]). Although I received the device, it did not come with the BT-Earbuds that were advertised as part of the bundle deal. I notified customer care, but they requested that I return the device. However, due to a recent mugging incident where my gadgets were taken, I urgently needed a new device and could not send it back.
The lack of a smartphone affected my productivity significantly, and the delayed delivery of my new device from Takealot, due to the initial package being lost in transit (meant to have been delivered on the 16 Feb then date changed to 17 Feb and eventually I drove to collect the parcel as I couldn't rely on them), only added to the disruption. As such, it is inconvenient for me to send the device back to rectify the mistake made by the packaging division. I ordered the correct device as per my order and it is not my fault that the package was not fulfilled correctly. They insist that I must send the device back so they can include the BT-EARBUDS and send back, just how ridiculous is that? The device is in good working condition, there is no need for me to return it.

Being unfairly treated as a seller on takealot
To whom this may concern, I have been a Takealot seller for like a year now, at first i was learning the ins and outs of being a seller, Takealot has been a brilliant company to work for, however lately i feel as if im being unfairly treated or sabotaged as a seller, what's been happening for the second or third month is the following , I am very particular about treating customers fairly and following processes, lately i have been stressing and feeling extremely disappointed to go through the following, I am very particular with sending my orders on time to the warehouse, they normally sent a few days before the due date, in the beginning i did have a few issues with the couriers when i began my Takealot seller , i then strived in finding the best courier , who charges more than other couriers but the quality is not being compromised, lately i am very disappointed to say that im not sure whats going on at the warehouses, my orders are being packaged and sent on time, scanned into the warehouse system as received goods as the goods are being revived on time, then after a few days i see that the warehouse cancelled the orders for no reason to then find out that the orders were not received or lost , then a few days later i send a reconciliation to see that the stock is with the warehouse and wasnt sent to the customer not knowing the reason, my stock also has been lost a few times by the warehouse and the customers orders have been cancelled due to negligence at the warehouse, lately a few items were received in one parcel but Takealot has scanned it as partially received, my question is if all the items are in one package how can some be there and some not, i have been contacting and enquiring on this as it is affecting my seller performance, i am disgusted to say that although i was nowhere in fault for orders being lost by the warehouse, i am still then being penalized for something i didn't do, now Takealot charges alot of monthly fees, successful fees, delivery fees etc so this is unfair, I need to know why are my orders being messed around with lately and Takealot has no answers and cannot pay, Another complaint , a customer ordered a sealed item in a box from me , then the customer returned it with items missing and the no box , the item was slightly damaged, when i enquired on this i was indirectly being accused of giving a customer an item like this, But in the first place of the item was not as per how it was advertised then it normally gets rejected at the warehouse ,so it was correctly sent but then now Takelaot doesnt want to refund me for something that was sent damaged back to me and i cannot resell the item, Please help,
Spiteful inbound team & horrible seller support from takealot staff
Today I had a delivery to the Takealot DC.
At first I was annoyed because I could not get a pallet for the stock to go on. Every time I wanted to take a pallet truck to offload my stock, someone would say no take from somewhere else as they are busy with it.
The staff at the warehouse doors are completely unhelpfull. Didn't even offer to help me carry when I decided I might as well offload the boxes and carry it to check-in myself, without a pallet truck. So I stood in the queue to have my boxes checked in when a Supervisor came to ask me how I was doing.
I said I am annoyed and explained what happenend. He proceeded to tell me to calm down, because he will not help me while I'm like this. I told him I am calm, but don't understand what he wants from me and keeps nagging me as I just want my stock to be checked in so I can leave. He asked me so I don't want his help (help with what anyway? Just check in my stock, that's all they needed to do!) so I said no, and proceeded to wait in the Check-in queque as I was second in line. The supervisor told the check-in lady that he's at his desk if I decide to want to talk to him.
When my time came up in the queue, the check-in lady ignored me and assisted the gentleman behind me. I asked her why isn't she helping me and she said that the Supervisor said I don't want to be helped because I didn't want to talk to the Supervisor previously (because I was annoyed...seriously!) So they now add to my annoyence. I told her it's because there is nothing he can help with and I only want my goods scanned so I can go as I have other work to do.
She blatently IGNORED ME...didn't look at me, answer me or even further ignoledge my existance until I told her to call HER MANAGER / SUPERVISOR.
So, finally she called the Champion (supervisor), the same one I spoke to earlier and I told him they have now managed to INCREASE MY ANNOYANCE because they don't want to help me.
I am tired, and hungry and annoyed and they seem to be SPITEFUL and just not WANT to check in my stock.
The Supervisor said that I shouldn't talk to him that way, he was trying to help and I refused, so he decided that HE WILL NOT RECEIVE MY STOCK...I HAVE TO TAKE MY STOCK AND GO!
Seriously...if that is your way of helping...by ANNOYING and pushing your sellers (suppliers) even further after causing the annoyance in the first place! They could have helped by simply doing their job and checking in my stock, but they decided to nag, and give me nonsense about being annoyed with them in the first place!
SERIOUSLY! HORRIBLE SERVICE! SPITEFUL STAFF!
Desired outcome: I want a response from the Takealot team with an Apology from the Supervisor for being so spiteful and for refusing to check-in my stock.

I received a wrong item from Takealot which costs less than half of what l paid for. l am surprised that my return was rejected even after l had offered to take the wrong item and be credit the difference.
Please resolve this as l am now forced to take legal action. If you cannot take back the returned item then give it back to me but pay me back the difference l paid. The wrongly delivered item was your fault and not mine.

But to my surprise l received this bench for R1750. Where on earth would l get a zoolpro item. I offered to keep it and get credited my balance and you refused. Why are you scammers

This is totally unacceptable that after waiting 10 days and the less than 24hour before delivery you cancel my order. I had to make a call 10 days ago to save R500 then I decided to wait the 10 days for the delivery. And with great joy the order gets cancelled by you. The other thing that item is still available on your site. So you don’t give a dam about the public using your app to order stuff. Now I cannot just go and get a battery as you are sitting with the money that I had for the battery. You should take items of the app or at least say that it’s not available or out of stock instead of catching more of the public with this inconvenient way of shopping. It would have been better if you done the refund in full prior to cancelling the order, then I could go and buy a battery.
I can at this stage not tell you how mad I am. Im on the phone to the call center while doing this email and been on call now for 21 min no one answer the phone just some stupid music playing.

On the 10th of February 2023 around 12:20pm my son collected an order from your but mistakenly paid more money that the specified amount. The driver counted the money in front of him even after realizing that he was given R100.00 more, he still took off with all the money. I then called the driver immediately and asked him if he saw that he was given more money and he answered no and argued that he did not count the money. He said he took the money to the office. I waited for 20 minutes and called him back again, he then started ignoring my calls. I went to the office and they called him on my behalf and he told them he was still delivering. Ordered new fridge, delivered a second hand / refurbished fridge that doesn't work
On the 4th of Fed 2023 I ordered a new KIC 314L Bottom Freezer Fridge With Water Dispenser from Takealot. The fridge was delivered on Tue 8 Feb, but it isn't working, and most concerning is it appears to be a second-hand / refurbished fridge, not NEW! It appears there are pipes not connected near the compressor, it is scratched, the light isn't working, and the condition is clearly 'second-hand'.
I've been a loyal supporter of Takealot since inception, and spent fortunes, never having an issue before. So this is very disappointing. While I'm aware this is a merchant issue, Takealot needs to ensure this matter is resolved and that I receive a NEW fridge, as per the original order.
Desired outcome: Replace the broken / second-hand fridge delivered with a NEW fridge as per my original order. I did not order a second-hand fridge.
No delivery on scheduled date and the team automatically cancelled one item without my permission.
