Manager very disrespect
WinCo Food store I was afraid for our lift’s
On November 10, 2023, time 1:20 - 2:00 PM I Debra was afraid for myself grandchildren and my God sister life's after interring the WinCo Food store at 2200 Plaza Pkwy Modesto Copa. I was told I was not the only Black in store by a man race call white. he blocked the entry to the store where the shopping carts were.
I was followed around the WinCo Food store by a lady looked to be Hispanic race, she said to me you do not have a right to speak to my granddaught at all. and how long was I going to speak to in the store. I was afraid I did not understand what she was speaking on, I began asking for security.
A WinCo store employee saw what was happen, said go to customer service, A man walk up , and he spoke to the Lady whom I was afraid of both seen to be Hispanic. he then told her to go continue shopping. he was upset with me. I was trying to tell him I was in fear for my family and my life, he then flipped me off. Told me I do not want to hear it. I left the store in fear.
I like shopping at this WinCo. store. The store Manager was very rude he said his name sound like Rus he said I am over security, and security will not help me leave the store. my family and I left.
I feel like I will not be able to shop at WinCo store anymore. the ways the manager treated me as a human being was unfair. Family and I was harassed by a customer, discriminated by manager because of my color?
I lost the respect that I had for the WinCo store to treat everyone with fairness. I feel like a victim because of my color.
I would like to same respect and fairness as any other customer.

Claimed loss: Dignity and respect
Desired outcome: Where people may feel vulnerable or need ethical treatment I would to be treated with Dignity and respect by manager a WinCo Food store. and be allowed to enter feeling a safe and respected as any other customer.
