We got a quote of $10 400.00 dollars to replace 14 windows all with Grids except the kitchen window. We received windows with no grids except the bathroom and front window. So we just excepted the windows without grids. Windows were tight and the measurements were off. They let the sales guy go who did the measurements. All the windows were to big but. This was back in Nov 2 2021 and still today our kitchen window is way to big waiting two times for them to put them in. they had to reorder the kitchen windows for the 3rd time which they never showed up today as we had an appointment to install them because the first was way to big and 2nd was 10 inches to small and now the 3rd came in but never showed to installed it. Our bathroom window is definitely not what we were shown and not what we ordered. It's a eye sore and we hate it and it's been since Nov 2nd 2021. We talked to management and Kevin supposedly the district manager and all a waste of time and still did not let us know what there attentions are on what they are gonna do about this ugly bathroom window which has a 8 inch ugly white spacer between the two windows and grids don't line up. I would not recommend this company as We will be hiring an attorney.

Horrible Customer Service from Management to Installers.
My name is Andre Roux and my address is 1578 Elderberry Loop, Mandeville, La. and I ordered 8 widows plus 2 half round widows approximately 3 months ago. I was contacted that m windows have arrived and I need to schedule a date for installation. I was contacted by Randy a Production Manager on Friday 1/14/22 and was told "I have installation crews standing around and can install your windows on Monday 1/17/22" and I agreed. On Monday I was contacted by Leroy Rosario and was told he would arrive between 3:00 and 5:00 and someone would have to be there so I made arrangements with my daughter who would stay home from college that day. I had and still have all of my blinds and curtains down so anyone driving in front of my house can see clearly inside. Leroy Rosario never did show up or contact me. I tried to call Sohn Gunter the field supervisor and left 2 messages for him with no return call so I contacted Randy on 1/17/22 at approx. 7:00pm and explained it to him I was then told he would contact me in the morning to let me know whats going on. As of 2:00pm 1/18/22 I have not heard a word from Randy even though I left a voicemail for him at 11:25. This has got to be the worst customer service I have come across in a while and I am returning customer. I had window world install $6, 000.00 of windows roughly 8 years ago so if this is how your returning customers are treated I'll never do business with window world again nor will I recommend to anyone. I WANT SOMETHING DONE NOW! OR YOU CAN KEEP THE WINDOWS AND I'LL TAKE MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.

In August 2021 I paid and schedule installation for 5 windows to be installed on 9/23 at 9 am in the morning. I called 2 days before to confirmed the date and time. On 9/23 no installers at 10 am, i called customer service and called the project manager, who called me to say they have been delayed and should be there at 3.30 pm. At 4:30 i called customer service and the project manager called me back to say we will have to reschedule for another day. After 2 days the installer show up and begin take out the bedroom windows. However when they get to the Kitchen and Living room windows they stop, because they were not told they had to remove burglar bars. I said i paid an additional charge of $75.00 to have them remove. I contacted the project manage who refused to come out an explained in Spanish to the worker the bar are to be remove, he refused. So i contacted the salesman Mr. Gordon, who contacted the project manager, who contacted the worker who understood very little English. Since the worker had been instructed to remove the bars, they began pulling on the bars ripping the casing and damaging the area around the window. I then contacted the area manager, and delivered the cutting tool to properly remove the last window bar. I cant recommend Window World for their products, but I am very appreciative to Gordon for assisting me with translation and finally getting the project manage to come on site. Also i found out that their customer service team is located in Baton Rouge, which says a lot for their assistance in this matter.
Desired outcome: Improvement in Customer Service, Scheduling, a workers who speak english and project manager willing to go on site.

Windows never got installed after putting down a 50% deposit in June 20th after signing a contract with Window World
No installation done! I was given several dates for installation that never happened. (dates: October 19, November 20, December and now January 2022.
Your contract states the installation will happen in 12-15 week after signing the contract and giving the 50% deposit.
It's been 30 weeks still no installation only excuses.
Desired outcome: Windows installed with a 30% or more discount off the balance owed.
Window adjustment
I installed windows 05-02-2003 and I called the locale window world location to have my windows adjusted for the winter. They claim they have no record of my account. They can't help me. I have a lifetime warranty for this procedure. The windows were installed by a subcontractor. They are no longer in business. I will be glad to send a copy of my warranty and my install receipt if I had your email.

Replacement windows for windows that were put in in 2020
Called in March 2021 for replacement because broke windows and some the vacuum lock did not work and I had cloudy windows . It is now December and 3 times they have come out and had wrong windows. Now they tell me that it will take 6 more weeks.I am tired of waiting and feel like somebody is getting the wrong info on my windows . I hope that this can be done efficiently and quickly I am very disappointed in the service

Window condensation
I bought 13 replacement windows from Window World last year. During cold weather they sweat very badly. Why do the windows on the south side and upstairs of the house keep getting wet. Window World replaced 13 windows last year and the majority of them have a lot of condensation on them. They will eventually destroy my sills. They have destroyed the curtains due to the woodwork being wet. The old 100 year old windows did not do this. Why do the new windows swear? Please advise. I can submit photos if you like. Thank you
Leaf guards on gutters; fascia board along roof
Window World of DC, Inc. does not complete the work contracted, and bills for materials they do not install. I am not a lawyer, but this sounds to me like fraud.
We entered into a contract with Window World of DC, Inc. (WWDC) on March 15, 2021 for the replacement of fascia board with new lumber, and the installation of soffit and fascia, frieze, new gutters and downspouts, and 125 Linear Feet of micro guard leaf protection. WWDC did not show for the first two appointed times, came late the third time and rushed to finish the job before afternoon rains. They finally had a crew do some of the work in July.
Half of the downspouts were installed upside down, meaning rain gushed out of each seam. Rather than replace the fascia boards (some of which had dry rot), they covered them over with vinyl except on the corners most visible from the ground - so we paid for 45 LF and received ~two feet. We tried multiple times have them to make it right, which we were promised would be done "within the week" - this was in mid-July and the work remains undone.
In mid-August, we hired someone else to install the downspouts correctly. He notified us that there were NO leaf guards installed the entire length of the back of the house, and took photos showing that we had received less than half of the leaf guards we paid for. The next day, on August 14, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. The following week, WWDC sent someone to install the downspouts correctly (essentially made some cosmetic adjustments to alignment since the upside-down issue had been fixed by our other contractor), but ignored the leaf guards and fascia boards. While on the ladder adjusting the downspouts, he acknowledged seeing that no leaf guards were installed on the back of the house and said he would file a report with WWDC.
On September 21, WWDC responded to our BBB complaint saying: "All repairs have been completed." This was yet another fabrication by them, since they were aware that they had not in fact completed the work contracted. On September 28, I responded to BBB noting: " I am rejecting this response because while the business made one repair of correctly installing downspouts, they did NOT complete the work originally contracted. Specifically, materials which we paid for were never installed. No replacement fascia boards were installed - meaning we paid for lumber we did not receive. Nor were the leaf guards placed along the gutters on the entire back half of the house, meaning we received less than half of the materials we paid for."
Six weeks later, neither BBB nor WWDC have made any efforts to rectify this situation. I am posting this to warn others in the greater Washington DC area not to trust Window World of DC, Inc. They do not tell the truth, do not fulfill their contracts, and charge you for materials they do not install.

Siding
Had doors and windows installed and they did a great job so we went ahead and ordered siding from them. Well, what a major mistake. Half of the products were delivered and have been sitting outside, in our back yard for several weeks! Installation you ask? Good question, keep getting the major run around! Pathetic! I wish they would come pick everything up and we can get it done elsewhere.

Installation done incorrectly
In 2002 I purchased new windows for my home from Window World. Recently I had some major water damage below and above the windows. When I brought in a contractor to repair the damage, he pointed out that the window flashing was installed incorrectly with a slope back towards my house instead of sloping away from my house as would be the proper installation. He also stated this could have caused the damage.
I contacted Window World and they sent out a salesman to inspect the area and he agreed that all the windows appeared to be installed incorrectly and that the slope of the window flashing should have been away from the house. I told the sales rep that it had been 15 to 20 years since the install so I did not expect new windows, but I would like to have the windows repaired and would like some consideration for the fact that it was installed incorrectly on a repair quote.
After over a week of waiting and a call back from me, the Window World office said that there was a new owner, and he was not responsible for the improperly installed windows. Also, unless I wanted to install new windows, I should contact a general contractor as this was not their problem. I asked for the name of the owner at the time or the contractor. I was told the only thing they had was a first name for the contractor no license number and no other records and it was basically not their problem. Basically, they could sell the business from person to person and never have any responsibility for any poor install they do on your home.

Windows and door installation
I was scheduled to have windows and a door install September 2, 2021 I was notified the morning September 2, 2001that they were not coming because of reasons beyond our control so I was scheduled for September 24, 2021 between the hours of 8 AM and 10 AM someone is supposed to arrive to install my windows and door 10:30 AM I called they said someone's job was before mine they will be here by two no communication no one has showed As of 3 PM September 24, 2021 Call to find out was there a problem and was put on hold for 15 minutes with no answers as of yet I am very disappointed in the professionalism of window World and installation practices TheWindow World I'm referring to is in Richmond Virginia on Midlothian Turnpike my name: Julius Richardson 10703 Milbrook Court

Ordered and Paid for window plus installation 3-19-21 and no window or install. The company is good as sending sales apologies and excuses but nothing gets done. Do not use these crooks as they will rip you off.
The window arrived in Nashville over a month ago, "I am told" but not sure i believe them. Why in the world can't they get this 1 window installed before i have a heart attack dealing with the clowns.

My name is Kenyette Gaines [protected]. I purchased sliding door on May 10, 2021. I received a email stating that my slide door was in and ready to be installed (8/17/2021). No one contacted me until I contacted them. My door was scheduled to be install on 8/26/21 but was cancelled without a new date set. I reached out to them only for them to give me a later date. It wasn't until I said I wanted a refund that they gave me an earlier date. They were suppose to come on this Saturday (9/11). Installer called me at 10:01 informing me that he would be to my home at 12:00. At 12:45 I received a text message stating that they will be to my home between 2-2:30pm. I later receive a text message at 2:24pm stating that they will be at my home as soon as they finish the job at the home they was at. After that I received a call from one of the supervisor at the Baton Rouge office asking if the installer had installed my door. I explain to him that they did not and informed him of what was said. He said "at least they called you". He did preceded to say he will call them and contact me back. I never heard from anyone of them. Fast forward to today 9/13/2021, I still have not been contacted about the installment. At this point I am requesting a refund.

Installers were very disrespectful. When asking for more insulation around the windows, their reply was "If you know so much about windows, put them in yourself". I asked about argon charged because there was no sticker on the windows, His reply "They don't come with stickers". They stick a hose between the glass and when it's full they pull the hose out...

Since 5/24/21 I have been trying to get a copy of the contractors, (the actual persons that will do the window installation), proof of vehicle insurance to submit to my HOA to secure approval for the impact windows I ordered in early May 2021! I am completely not understanding how this simple task cannot be taken care of by now! I have paid 1/2 the cost up front and am seriously considering having that $$ returned and finding another company to do the work. I used WW in NY on my home up there and was totally satisfied from start to finish.
Here in Florida, the office in West Palm Beach has been uncommunicative and seemingly unconcerned!
I'd appreciate any help that the corporate office could afford me!

Looks like a bunch of 12 year old kids put it on. Don't believe i ever saw a tape measure or miter box. All was what looks like guess work. Majority of siding was glued on!Have had Employees back to repair numerous times. Some employees have taken pictures and shown them to manager, but she still won't repair all.Windows are mainly all caulk and glue. Overall nothing looks straight on the house.

I walked with him as he measured every single window...4 of the windows are the same size (please share his measurements with me) since they were conveniently left off the quote
Even if his measurements are off that is not "my" fault nor should I be expected to "fix" an error by one of "your" employees
This is your company and if you make a mistake it is unprofessional to turn around and expect the consumer to make it right not to mention ask them if you can remeasure especially such a simple job
This all looks very fishy to me and it is not giving me confidence in your business.
