There are two females that work the registers most early weekday mornings. Both of them are very rude. They snap if you ask a question or tell them that there is an issue with something. This happened again this am 08/22/17. I told them that the diet coke was all syrup and the dark haired one said well i don't know the box is full. Every since the blonde accused me of parking illegally in the handicapped spot they have been rather rude. I am a frequent customer there for both the convenient store and the gas pumps. One morning they were stalking me as I parked in the handicap. They questioned me the next time. I told them the sticker was displayed on the dash. The hang tag broke so it won't hang from the mirror.
I have spoken with the manager before and he said they are doing their job. Seriously, they need to tone the attitude a bit, especially the blonde.
I have never had words with them and I did not notice this behavior until I proved them wrong and spoke with the manager.

Shopped at my usual store today, the Ben Avon Heights/ Camp Horne Giant Eagle. As I stood in line behind a woman with a $460 order I noticed my cashier ( young guy with glssses) coughing after scanning every 1-2 items. Then the cashier to his left ( young girl) began blowing her nose into the paper towels usually used to wipe the conveyor belts. She would blow her nose, inspect the outcome and go right back to scanning groceries. Then the cashier to our right ( old guy) starts with his own cold symptoms. NOT ONCE DID ANY OF THESE ILL EMPLOYEES USE HAND SANITIZER BEFORE GOING BACK TO TOUCHING GROCERIES. I didnt even see hand sanitizer available to them. Please, please, please... tell your sick cashiers to stay home. NO ONE wants sick people touching the food they are going to take home and eventually eat. If someone absolutely has to come to work, find them another job for the day that doesn't consist of them spreading their germs so easily the public. There are too many ways to catch germs these days. Please enforce some hygenic standards with your cashiers. That includes licking their fingers to help open the blue grocery bags they cannot open. YUK!
Giant eagle card
I have been picking up my father's prescriptions for 7 months now and have had problems every time I bring his check. The name is James R Wallace, bd 7-27-22. His card is under his name and phone number which is [protected]. At first the check wasn't accepted so they game me a new card for him. Then they still wouldn't cash it till I went to the service desk which I also did and supposedly everything was ok. Today, in Hermitage, they would not take his check for his prescriptions saying the same crap all over again. He's 95 years old and homebound and you expect him to show up? It's absolutely ridiculous. I shop at Giant Eagle 3/4 times a week and that's the service I get! I want an answer by tomorrow morning or I'm switching his prescriptions to another pharmacy as he needs the refill asap!

hot dogs
I ordered 2 hot dogs with buns, jalapeños, melted cheese and chili sauce. Unfortunately both hot dogs were extremely over cooked and inedible I would have asked for new ones immediatly, however I bought them at your 117 South 18th street location. This store is located about a 15 minute drive from my home. So I didn't recognize the problem until I arrived at my kitchen table to eat them. I always look forward to your hotdogs when I'm on that side of town, so I am very disappointed that this happened. Ps I'm still hungry. Yours truly, Shawn Reep.

I was at the store on 430 off of 90 to get gas at around 610pm and for the third time now I went to pay with cash and theirs no one there to take my money . So I go in the store to pick up a few items and asked the clerk ( one of two standing there) why no one is out there . He tells me she's on break. . So your company doesn't have people to cover breaks, they just shut down? How about sending someone out there when they're on break like every other retailer in the history of retail! Like maybe one of the two clerks you have inside . I mean really, is this how you run a gas station at one of the peak hours of the day . Someone needs a serious foot up there backside for allowing this sort of thing to go on . What if there was an emergency and no one was there to get help ? The lawsuit would be huge .
hot food to go
Visited your get go location in Carnegie pa close to Pittsburgh an ordered medium fries and winglets. When I got to the car an went to open the bag there were literally 14 fries and 7 ketchup shoved into the medium fry holder. Really . I was already driving an did not go back but took pictures . I've visited this location on numerous occasions and have never had issues. I'm looking for a full refund

On June 22nd my brother and I went into the store because he wanted to buy red cherries that were advertised for $2.99 a pound. When we got ready to check out he was called to the service desk to check out, and I was in the 15 item line. He soon came back with his cherries and put them back. He had been told that they were not on sale and was going to be charged close to $20.00 for about 5 pounds or so. There was no sign saying that you had to be a card holder nor was there any indication on the sale ad that they were not available unless you had one. As a result we lost a customer for good and I think it would be so much better if every one who was doing check outs was on the same page.
coffee (high energy mocha) mostly water - tastes bad.
Store # 3514 in Pickerington, OH. I was getting a high energy mocha and the machine started off with normal dark coffee for a second or two, but then pure-looking water for the rest. I've gotten these before but never paid attention to how it looked coming out. Told a worker but they said that's normal. Had to wait for it to cool down to taste it and it did not taste right. Like slightly flavored water - pretty bad. I drove to a different GetGo 7 miles away that had coffee and got the same high energy mocha. Watched it come out and it was dark coffee-looking liquid the entire time it was coming out of the machine. And this one actually tasted good. See pictures (light brown was the good one, the darker redish one was the bad one from this store). Desirable resolution would be to ensure that the espresso machine at this location is fixed and running correctly. And a full refund of $1.69 for the drink and $1.00 for gas.
Really love these drinks and the convenient location so would very much appreciate that this store gets their machine fixed so I can enjoy them regularly like I used to. Thank you!

Went in to store to play the lottery. I handed the team member at the service desk the powerball card to play and a winning ticket for $4. He asked if it was a winning ticket and I replied, "Yes it is, that's why I gave it to you." He held it up pointing to it saying, Some people give THESE to me as a replay. I asked him his name because he didn't have a name badge on and he answered RAzell. He started laughing and I asked him what was funny and he said, "I'm not laughing at you I'm laughing at that lady over there." When I was leaving the counter he raised his voice loud enough so I could hear him ask the next customer (as he was laughing) if the tickets they handed them was a winning ticket or a replay. If the store has signs posted a lottery card MUST be filled out to play than how is he doing it from an old lottery ticket. I felt like RAzell was rude and disrespectful to me.

I'm writing this to suggest a few changes you need to discuss w/your pharmacy depts. My husband is on a powerful medication for pain because of numerous injuries. I dropped of his script a few days before he would run out to be ordered because they usually dont have the brand he needs in stock.I never recieved a phone call nor did my dr. letting me or him know the insurance needed prior authorization after being on this med. for 2 yrs. This medication can"t be stopped all of a sudden he ended up W/terrible withdrawls which if the dr. had known sooner he could of helped. I dropped the script off on a Tues. went to pick it up on Friday after work the lady didnt even care. Please let all your pharmacies know there needs to be better comunication especially w/meds that can cause harm when taken off suddenly!
car wash
Today I saw that birds had ravaged my car with their fecal matter (and my car just needed a wash). I decided to go to Get Go because it is close and I have an advantage card. I just purchased a $10 Car wash and my vehicle is still speckled with dirt and bird feces... Needless to say I am not pleased with the quality of the service. I have submitted pictures of my car and the receipt for proof.
We went out of our way to go to a get go car wash on Whipple Ave. in North Canton Ohio. We were gonna purchase a monthly pass that was offered. We looked it up online and it said that there was one there. We got there and they don't even have a car qash at all. What a disappointment after going out of our way. Why is it advertised that there is one on the internet and they dontim lost?

expired yogurt
I had quite an unpleasant experience with Giant Eagle. I was doing my grocery shopping and bought two bottles of yogurt, some vegetables and meat. And after I paid and was about to leave the store I heard someone complaining about expired products.
Just in case I decided to check if everything was ok with the products I bought and I was shocked when I saw that yogurt was already expired. I went back to the cashier and told her that I wanted to return two bottles of yogurt but she refused to accept them back. She was very rude and said that it was my problem that I didn't check the expiration date. What? First off all people who work in a grocery store are responsible and must check all the products, it is their job to make sure there is no rotten or expired production available to customers!
She didn't let me return the yogurt and when I got pushy she simply called the security guy who in a rudely manner asked me to leave the store.
Shame on you Giant Eagle!

I just found out that I could get reward amount toward my purchase from Fuelperks Discount because I don't have a car. My co-worker told me about this. I confirm this Saturday March 25, 2017 at Giant Eagle . I 'm so hurt about this that I can not let this go by another day. I have to send this email to you guys because I have lost out on so many expiring point, that I could of use on my grocery. I come to Giant Eagle ever week and no one never told me this. Is there any way I can be compensate for the lost of my fuel perks rewards. Is there any other re-course could be done about this problem that is bothering me.

I've been coming to this get go for a time and I've seen yesterday at 12 pm a guy with long set of side burns and no face net and I've watched the young lady helping him touch her hair and continue to make food. I do not think that is sanitary by any means. You usually you all have a pretty good kitchen staff but lately i don't know what changed but its not a good one.

Bought the Eggplant Rollentini and Boneless wings Parmesan and Garlic.
1. The Eggplant included a paper thin breaded piece of eggplant where the breading was thicker than the eggplant itself, One way to save some money, with no taste and seemed like it had been in the display case for a week. It was not fresh, very hard.
2. The boneless chicken was dry and tough could barely chew it. That chicken must have been 100 yrs old and Giant Eagle got it before they were going to put it out of it's misery. Probably got him for free.
Ended up throwing both items away because they were not for human consumption. WASTE OF MONEY. may as well threw $13 out the car window.

I seen a female employee in a silver colored car snorting something up her nose in the silver car then she went into the store and behind the counter. Please drug test your employees! This is very disturbing not only that there is a drug addict working here but that she is doing her drugs in the parking lot

I got off the Freeway exit and proceeded to the GetGo Gas Station on the corner of Emery and Miles. I needed gas and some things inside, so I decided to go in first and purchase a diet coke, a candy bar and a carton of cigarettes. When I got to the counter and asked for a carton, the attendant went into the back and came out and said they did not have any left, so I asked if I could get what they had behind the counter. When she pulled the shelf out, there were 14 packs, so she asked how many I wanted and I replied 10. She said she could not do that because they needed some left. I said that would leave them with only 4 and she said I will sell you 5. This is absolutely the craziest thing I have ever heard, so I told her forget everything, including the $40.00 in gas I was going to buy. That station just lost about $120.00 sale because of the attendants attitude. I went across the street to the other station who benefited from my purchase and treated me well. Employees like this individual at GetGo should not be working.

Dropped off script last night after a painful trip to ER with my child. Of course they didn't have it and told me it would be ready at 9:30 next day. So my child had to go all night in extreme pain! Went to the drive thru the next day at 10am and got behind a customer that was very angry and I waited for almost 30mins! I then pull forward only to be told the script that should have been ready hadn't been touched yet! They then ask me to pull out and go to the back of the line which by that time 4 cars were behind me. They got irritated with me because I would not pull forward and become 5th in line after waiting so long. How can you tell a customer who had been waiting so long (for 12 pills mind you) to pull out and go to the back of the line? Didn't I wait long enough? And now you're asking me to let 4 people go ahead of me so I'd have to wait even longer? So after I refused to pull out of the line and start all over again, they became very ignorant! But brought me the script in less than 5 mins. So my question is, if it took them 5mins to fill the script as I waited at the window because I refused to move, why would they want me to move to the back of the line knowing damn well 4 cars that would have then been ahead of me would more than likely take a lot longer than 5mins before I got back up to the window? Horrible attitudes and horrible customer service! Any time I have ever brought scripts to this store it's always an hour wait and when you go back to get it you still end up waiting because they didn't get it done yet still! Experiences like this one is exactly why I quit filling scripts there in the first place but unfortunately my normal pharmacy closes at 5:30 so I took it to giant eagle because my daughter was in horrible pain and needed the medication and ended up being in pain all night anyways! Thanks! The pharmacy I go to all the time takes my scripts and in 10 mins or less I'm walking out the door with my medications! What happened today is totally unacceptable in any customer service scenario. And I'm a business development manager where I work and I would never treat my customers like that and I promise that as a manager I wouldn't tolerate my employees treating customers with a nasty attitude either! Get it together Giant Eagle! I spend thousands of dollars each year there in groceries but I no longer will after this experience! When you set customers expectations and never meet the expectations YOUR COMPANY sets then you deserve to lose business because of it! You need to also teach your employees some tact and how to smile. No one ever looks happy to help when I go there after my regular pharmacys hours. Lousy service and poor inventory caused my daughter to not only be in agonizing pain all night, no sleep for her and I, and they made me late for work and I missed a very important meeting! Very disgusted over this experience and I hope you address and make adjustments where needed!

I was shopping in Giant Eagle with my children. I over heard a manager of some sort degrading their employees. Basically saying they were incompetent. I did not get the whole thing because I did not want my children around this type of behavior. It made me upset because I manage employees and have for over 20 years. I would never talk to my employees like that at all.
Lastly, the products we were looking for were out of stock and the shelf conditions were sloppy. I definitely loved giant eagle until this experience. I normally do not shop at this store but we were visiting family and needed to stop in and pick up a few things and 2/5 things were not in stock.
I am going back to my other store and I hope across the board HR talks to their management staff on how they treat their people. This is not the first time I have shopped in giant eagle and heard management talking down to people.
I called the store and complained. Management apologized and got the items I needed and held them at the service desk for me from another store. They also apologized for what I heard it was a misunderstanding and wasn't as serious as I thought. Regardless it was handled in a professional manner. thank you for taking care of everything. I always loved giant eagle for their prices and store neatness. guess today being sunday they were just understaffed due to call offs and were trying to make the best of a bad situation that day. things happen. guess I just overacted. Sorry giant eagle was not trying to make you sound bad I just was not very understanding. retail Is tough just glad they were friendly enough to listen to me and go to great lengths to provide customer service.

Went to put air in my tires at four different locations (Kennedy township, carnegie, ingram & brentwood, pa) why even have a free air swrvice if none of them even work? So frustrating! Four different locations? If you don't want to give free air, just take them out instead of having a bunch of broken machines
